60 Y.O ARRESTED AFTER SUSPECTING OF PLANTING TOOTH PICK ON SEAT

A 60-year-old man got questioned and investigated after suspecting of planting toothpick on seats to harm others in a public bus.

The bus company said that the suspect was revealed after CCTV footages helped identify the identity of the man. The investigation is ongoing. Currently, there are no reports of to why the man did this.

ICA STATED THAT PICTURES ON SOCIAL MEDIA IS NOT A FUEL TANKER SCANNER!

The Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) refers to recent online discussions of photographs of “a fuel tank scanner” at Tuas and Woodlands checkpoints.

In response to media queries, ICA would like to clarify that the photograph below shows a prototype of an Automatic Passenger In-Car Clearance System, and is not a “fuel tank scanner”. The prototype is being developed to conduct trials for car travellers to perform automated immigration self-clearance using fingerprint verification. More details will be shared when available.

ICA would like to remind travellers that photography and videography are not allowed within checkpoint premises. Members of public are also advised not to spread unverified sources of information and should refer to our official website for information.

DealStreet Asia described Singapore’s state-owned Temasek Holdings ran the US$75m backing round in California-based Impossible Foods, the creator of meatless burgers.

Open Philanthropy Project, Bill Gates, Khosla Ventures and Horizon Ventures will also fund to the round.

The company, nevertheless, did not unveil additional particulars of the backing. Established in Redwood City, California, Impossible Foods creates meat and dairy merchandises straight from plants — with a much smaller eco-friendly footmark than those created from animals.

LOST CAT @ TEBAN GARDENS PLEASE HELP TO SHARE TO FIND HIS OWNER!

Hey everyone please help to share. I found this cat at Block 25 void deck Teban Gardens Road Lift Lobby E area. It has long grey fur and appears to be newly groomed.

P. S. I am, unfortunately, unable to foster the cat first due to my personal circumstances and can only look out for it whenever I go out. 😞

Update: Anyone who finds the cat please tell me asap so I can give him back to his owner

ACCIDENT AT PIE, MOTORCYCLIST FLEW OVER DIVIDER, HITTING CAR

A motorcyclist died this morning while riding along PIE near Dunearn Road. It was understood that the motorcyclist ran over a plank which cost him to lose control of his bike, causing him to be flung over the middle divider. He was then run over by a car.

The rider, 31, was found lying motionless before the ambulance came. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigations by the police are still ongoing. Our condolences goes to his family.

BANGLADESHI CAUGHT TRYING TO SMUGGLE 250 GOLD BAR INTO SINGAPORE

Bangladeshi national arrived in Singapore with 250 pieces of gold bar hidden in his wheelchair. He claimed that he was unwell. Just when he was supposed to the past through the clearance gates, he was stopped.

It has been reported that the gold bars amount to 25kg. Woah that is a lot of money!
