It is believed in some religions that that when someone dies due to a taking their own life, the spirit would repeat his death over and over again as punishment from taking his or her own life.

BUKIT BATOK HDB LIFT ON “AUTOPILOT”, STOPS ON EVERY FLOOR, DON’T CARE WHAT YOU PRESS
Dr Chee Soon Juan shared on his Facebook about a lift that stops on every floor of a HDB block, seemingly on autopilot.
Irregardless of which floor you press, the lift continues to stop on every floor.
The faulty lift is purportedly located at Block 621, Bukit Batok Central.
Dr Chee appealed to the Jurong-Clementi Town Council to get the faulty lift (among other things), fixed, highlighting that the residents on the upper floors must be “tearing their hair out”.

GIRL ALLEGEDLY S*XUALLY ASSAULTED BY TATTOO ARTIST, TOOK OFF PANTS & GRIND ON HER
A girl alleged that she was sexually assaulted by a tattoo artist last year.
She shared that she first met him on 17 July last year because she was looking to get a tattoo, and it was her first time getting one and she didn’t know anything about the matter.
She then set an appointment with the guy, named Matthew.
As she was getting tatted by him, he asked her out for drinks, saying that he knew of a good bar.
The girl said no as she was with her sister, but the guy kept persuading her, saying that they would be talking about “tattoos and stuff”, until she relented and agreed.
Matthew then brought her over to a bar at orchard towers, where he ordered a bottle of liquor and assured her that he would be drinking most of it.
But throughout the night, he kept pouring more for her even when she told him that he couldn’t drink anymore as she can’t hold her liquor.
After drinking, she wanted to go home but he kept persuading her to go to his house, which she agreed to as she was “high” (very intoxicated).
She told him she would just “crash” at his place.
When she went into his room, she blacked out.
But she remembered that he asked her if she was feeling hot and offered her a shirt to change into.
As she was changing, he took off her clothes and ripped her underwear and started touching her.
She was pushing him away, saying no, before he backed off and got her a shirt.
The guy then kept asking her to have sex with him, before he took off his pants and laid beside her on the bed, pulling her towards him and grinding on her.
She wrote that she was scared and tried to muster up her courage and shouted at him to stop, pushing him away.
Matthew then shouted at her to sit down with him, to which she did so as she was scared.
He then told her that he stopped touching her, telling her not to call the police because he had already stopped his actions.
She then left the unit.
Unconsented usage of tattoo photo
On a separate occasion, the OP requested for Matthew to remove a photo of her friend’s tattoo from his Instagram profile, which he declined.
She told him that he doesn’t have the right to post the photo on his page, to which he replid that he did the tattoo and the girl allowed him to take a photo of it, therefore he is “fully within his rights to post it”.
She alleged that right after she told him to remove the photo, he posted the post onto his Instagram Stories to “rub salt in the wound”, taunting her.

LAWRENCE WONG: WORK-FROM-HOME WILL NO LONGER BE DEFAULT MODE FROM 5 APRIL
The Ministry of Health said in an online press conference yesterday (24 March), that Singapore will move from the default mode of working from home, to a working arrangement that is more flexible and “hybrid”, from 5 April onwards.
More people can return to office and attend events
The new shift from working-from-home will see up to 75% of employees allowed to be at the workplace at any one time, a rise from the current 50%.
The cap on time that an employee can spend at the workplace will also be removed.
Teams will no longer need to be split.
However, MOH did add that employers are stilla dvised to stagger start times and implement flexible working hours.
No cross-deployments across workplaces are allowed though.
Also, social gatherings will be allowed (including team bonding events by the employer), although they are limited to groups of 8 persons.
Expansion of vaccinations
Residents between the ages of 45 to 59 can now register their interest online.
Easing of cap on events.
From 24 April onwards, the cap on attendees for marriage solemnisations and wedding receptions will be relaxed from 100 to 250 attendees in total.
Live performances can have up to 750 attendee, provided they go for pre-event testing.
Funerals and wakes are allowed to have up to 50 people on the burial/cremation day.
Fully vaccinated persons are allowed to enter events without going for testing.
ALLEGED RAPIST WHO NO-SHOW IN COURT, ARRESTED AT HOTEL, PLANNED TO FLEE IN BOAT TO M’SIA
A 21-year-old man who was due to plead guilty to sexual assault and attempted rape but ended up failing to show up in court, was arrested on 23 March at the Bencoolen Strand Hotel, with a friend of his who was staying there.
He was then hauled back to court and will be charged with an additional offence of perverting the course of justice.
Deputy Public Prosecutor (DPP) Winston Man, said that police officers conducted an operation and arrested him at the hotel, on Tuesday afternoon.
His friend, who was staying at the hotel, was also arrested and will be charged with harbouring an offender.
The accused’s lawyer, Mr Clarence Lun, revealed that the accused wanted to take a boat to flee to Malaysia, and that he was not in contact with his father after running away.
DPP Man urged against granting bail to the accused, labeling him a “flight risk”, highlighting that he had breached a basic term of the conditions of his bail.
The accused is currently facing seven charges in total.
TAY PING HUI NOT HAPPY THAT JOEY MENDOZA PLAGIARIZED “COUNT ON ME SINGAPORE”
Veteran Singaporean actor Tay Ping Hui posted on Instagram blasting Indian composer Joey Mendoza for stealing Singapore’s “Count On Me, Singapore”.
He posted a photo of the Indian fella with the words “FAKE” superimposed right below his face.
Tay called out Mendoza for his seemingly nonchalant disregard of his theft, and rejected calls to remain calm, expressing how upset he was.
He wrote that “whoever believes that the 2 songs were ‘coincidentally’ similar, needs to get their ears checked, and their brains inspected”.

“S*X ENHANCEMENT PILLS” AND BOTTLES OF LUBRICANTS CAUGHT BEING SMUGGLED INTO S’PORE
The ICA released a statement on Facebook about an attempt to smuggle s*xual enhancement products into Singapore.
Officers at the Airport Logistics Park Singapore and Air Cargo Command noticed animalies in the x-rays of packages that were declared “medical foods” and “cosmetic products” on 22 March.
The ICA then conducted physical checks and the packages were revealed to contain 50,000 capsules for “male s*xual function” and 3,000 bottles of lubricants.
The case has since been referred to the HSA for further investigations.

2,117 CARTONS OF CONTRABAND CIGARETTES SEIZED BY S’PORE CUSTOMS, 2 MEN ARRESTED
The Singapore Customs said in a media released that they seized more than 2,100 cartons of duty unpaid cigarettes during an operation at Choa Chu Kang Avenue 5.
The operation was conducted at a multi storey carpark and 2 men were arrested.
Customs officers observed as several boxes that were wrapped in black trash bags from a van was transfered into a car parked next to it.
The officers then moved into to check the vehicles and found 2,117 cartons and 126 packets of duty cigarettes in the black trash bags.
The two suspects, aged 33 and 38, were subsequently arrested.
Cash amounting to S$6,240 was also seized, along with the car and van as well.
