SEEKING MEDICAL FUNDS FOR INJURED CAT THAT WAS HIT BY VEHICLE.

234567897654This is a serious SOS situation. We are trying to help someone who has never rescued an animal but found this cat injured, suspected of possibly being hit by a vehicle and she couldn’t bare seeing the cat suffering so arranged for a trapper to bring it to the vet. After the first vet visit, the cat started peeing quite a bit of blood so it has been brought to another clinic that is better suited to treat it’s injuries. Please read the information provided by Eileen Chua below as she is helping her friend with this. We hope we can raise enough money to help this cat or it will have to be put to sleep if we can’t raise the money it needs for hospitalization, treatment and surgery.

Pls do continue to share Wudi’s story. He needs your help with raising his medical fees.

20 Nov Update after Midnight ( what I managed to collate)

1) Cat now named Wudi -meaning unbeaten/invincible; changed from first name of Dirty. This is to give him more positive vibes to continue in his fight to survive. Fingers crossed.

2) Cat has been seen by a vet in Mount Pleasant Jalan Gelengang and is currently hospitalised to help it stabilise and for observation before a surgeon assesses his condition further.

3) 2nd assessment:
Fractures found on the side of Wudi’s hips and pelvis area. Due to fractures, his pelvis canal has narrowed. So 2 possible scenarios to observe:

Worst case – Wudi might have difficulties in pooping and thus be constipated in near future. It could cause long term damage and he may need to be on medicine for rest of his life. The vet advised they need to observe WuDi for two weeks. If he didn’t manage to poop regularly, he might need surgery to repair the fractures. Surgery might cost $4k to $6k on first estimation.

Good case scenario- If he’s really WuDi (unbeaten), and he manages to poop, then he might just need lots of bed rest and medicine. The fractures however could take some time to heal itself.

In either of the scenario, WuDi cannot be left outdoors as a result. Will ask if the surgeon can give us his perspective when he is in on Thursday.

Was told hospitalisation costs abt $65/- per night, not including GST n medicine. Clinic is willing to give a stray discount.

4) Will aim to get an interim bill itemisation from clinic tmrw for the consultation and medical services received thus far.

5) As at 19 Nov, excluding the first $250 from Ms Jenice Lam (who discovered Wudi) that was used to engage trapper and settle the first vet fees on 17 Nov, another $295 was raised from donations received as of 19 Nov based on info provided to me. We will use this sum, together with the balance of $91.50 from the first vet visit, towards settling the required first deposit of $200 to the Mount Pleasant clinic on 20 Nov.

1) Koh Kai Ting (Xu Kaiting) $15
2) Quek Geradene Alexandne@Dinar Aleksandra $50
3) Muhammad Zaharaul Bin Mohamed Isa $10
4). Huang Bingjie $20
5) Eileen Chua $50
6) Jenice Lam $50
7) Sally Lam $100

Total received $295.

Thank you very much. Hope you can continue to share, so Wudi can have the best chance to get through his plight.

If I have missed out acknowledging anyone, will do so in my next update after I check again.

Thank you!

19 Nov: Injured stray cat needs urgent medical attention as it is now peeing blood. Need help with medical funds as it likely requires surgery which is hard for one person who found the cat to bear alone. 80% of surgery fee ( estimated $5k) required as deposit if need surgery. If do not have the amount, Cat can’t have the surgery if money is not raised. Sad to say, may have to put to sleep to end its pain if we face that scenario of not being to get the money for surgery.

Help in donations/ fund raising, no matter how small, will still be very valuable. Help the cat to have a chance for survival!

YISHUN E-SCOOTER MAN ARRESTED AFTER NOT COMPLYING

2345643256432A man was arrested at Yishun after he was stopped by E-scooter “road blocks”.

It happened shortly after his E-scooter got weight and it seems like he did not comply with the officer’s instructions.

He was then put in handcuff after a struggle.

BEWARE OF YEAH MALL. NETIZENS CLAIM ITS A BIG FRAUD

3425678543Yeah Mall is a big fraud!! I ordered some compression socks for my mama but when the delivery guy came with the item, it was wrapped up in a black plastic cover.

I paid for the item worth S$52 in cash, but when I opened the package, I realised that they had sent me the wrong size which was meant for kids. The quality of the socks was terrible too!

I wrote several emails to them but they kept replying that the item has been delivered. I asked them to change the size at least, but they refused that too! They refused to give a refund for the socks if I returned it to them also. My poor mama has to wait for another set of compression socks which I’ve ordered from the hospital in Singapore. All their products are fakes which are made in China.

Beware of their scams everyone! If ever you order anything online and they say ‘pay by cash’, please check to see if it’s from Yeah Mall.

Reject the item straight away if it is! It’s best to buy locally than to get scammed by people like Yeah Mall!

SCAMMER CLAIM THEY FROM INTERPOL. BEWARE!

42342342342342342323FB Friends Please be aware:

be careful when you got a call from this Number +6562564808 posing as SingPost. This is a Interpol scam. They will know everything about you and will or might verify your details as it will be very realistic to hear.

They will say that you have a contraband sieze in China Airport and you are talking to an interpol officer. At the end of it they will give you a bank account as they will say that they will hold all of your bank account as it will be investigated and will ask you to transfer all of your remaining money to that bank account in hongkong that they just provide. Interpol does not have any arresting power and they need to coordinate with Singapore Police if you have any arrest warrant.

Please spread the details for awareness. Number shown on the Photo Below also please keep in mind.

I Expirience this today first hand and i was diligent enough to smell whats wrong about it. But i admit i also worry as it was very convincing.

MAN LEGS AMPUTATED, HAVE 2 SMALL KIDS THAT NEED HELP!

4232342234234423I have never raised funds for myself or for anyone but I would like to make an exception and urge my friends to open your wallets to help my dear friend whom I regard as my brother, Arjuna Miguel Benjamin

Ben is diabetic and in April he went for surgery to amputate a toe that had turned gangrenous but unfortunately the infection was too strong and spread to his entire foot so in August he had to amputate his foot from below the knee and now he is left with a stump. He has to foot out a lot of money for his medical bills and he is unable to work presently as he is still recovering. Now it appears that the infection has spread to his other foot and he may need to amputate it too.

To make matters worse, his wife has a congenital heart condition which may lead to premature death. Ben has 2 young children aged 6 and 9 and he has 4 step-children from his wife’s previous marriage. He actually had some money set aside but his friend of 16 years, Kenneth Low, cheated him of the money and went into hiding. He is trying to sell his house in Philippines to raise money but so far there have not been any buyers. In the meantime he has hungry mouths to feed and he cannot work in his present condition. I would like to stress that Ben is a Singaporean and he is in The Philippines because he is married to a Pinoy and he is there on a long term spousal visa. I am attaching a screenshot of his passport as proof.

Many of us know Ben and he really needs us now. I urge my friends to open their hearts and wallets and donate generously to him in his time of need. He is really desperate now or he would not have resorted to crowdfunding so please help. You can transfer the money to his POSB Savings account 118-53563-4 or you can send the money via Western Union to Teresita Arandez Alvarez (Ben’s wife). Her cellphone number is 09667182661 and their address is #42 Backside Street Barangay Vergara Mandaluyong City Metro Manila Zip 1551. It would be easiest to transfer the money directly to his POSB account. Please send any receipts to Ben so he can thank you personally.

I am attaching some photos to show you his ordeal. Please note that the images are graphic. I will also post pictures of his medical bills. I am also attaching pictures of his bank statement to prove that Ben is the account holder of the POSB account.

Ben has stopped receiving medical treatment now as he cannot afford to pay. The infection is spreading to his other leg. As you can see from the photo the big toe on the left seems to be oozing pus. I hope to be able to raise about $7000 for now so that Ben can put some food on the table and can resume urgent medical treatment to save his remaining leg.

Thank you my dear friends for your help. Ben and his family will be indebted to you.

I have set this post to public so please feel free to share it.

MACDONALD FAIL. FISH BURGER WITH NO FISH

434343324Drive thru at Safra Punggol, fish has swam away?? No filet fish in my filet-o-fish. The standard of McDonald’s is getting low standard. Especially drive thru or delivery.

If upsize, French fries will be half or 3/4 filled, not full. Sundae will have little chocolate sauce. Had ordered once mcflurry, the Oreo is just minimum and not fully mixed.

When will the standard be improved???

DISHONEST CAR DEALER: CUSTOMER CALLS FOR BOYCOTT

32131231231231DISHONEST CAR DEALER – A1MOTORING PTE LTD

A1MOTORING PTE LTD, a used car dealer located at Toh Guan Road, sold a used Mitsubishi Evolution to me by means of misrepresentation.

I had purchased a Mitsubishi Evolution X from a salesman (likely to be the boss or director of the company) by the name of Mr Chua. Thinking back, the deal seemed dubious and shady.

I had contacted the first salesman by the name of Steve. Steve told me that there was already an interested buyer who had offered $300 off the listed price. It seemed doubtful to me, as that was standard salesman talk. I ended the conversation with Steve on the pretext of further considering.

Five minutes later, Mr Chua phoned and apologized for the earlier conversation with Steve. He insinuated that Steve was lying and asked me if I would like to proceed down to view the car. I agreed for a viewing the following day.

On the day of viewing, I requested for a test drive but Steve declined, saying that the owner of the vehicle was his friend and that test drives were not allowed. Mr Chua intervened and requested Steve to let me go for a test drive. During the test drive, alarm bells sounded in my head when Steve told me not to push the vehicle too hard as there was a major servicing due. The costs of this said major servicing was to be borne by the owner at that point in time.

Despite this reassurance, Mr Chua at the end of the test drive, said that the cost of the servicing was to be split between myself and A1Motoring. There was already a conflict in information but I brushed this aside. Pending further negotiations, the servicing cost was determined at $1000 with both parties bearing half the cost.

Moreover at the point in time during the test drive, I felt that there was an idling and Air Fuel Ratio Issue. This ran the risk of the engine pistons having issue should the vehicle be running too lean.

Mr Chua directed me to a workshop and requested me to raise all servicing issues with them. I requested that A1Motoring send the car for a full check at the said workshop. I further requested that a compression test was to be done to ensure that the vehicle had no major mechanical issues. A1Motoring agreed, and it was confirmed in writing that should there be any major issue on the engine or gearbox, the deposit of $2000.00 would be returned to me.

Upon negotiating the final purchase price, Mr Chua suddenly added an admin fee of $200. Despite that, I still went ahead with the purchase as I really liked the vehicle. I then proceeded to place a deposit of $2000.00.

This is where things went downhill.

Upon checking the vehicle, it was uncovered the engine leaking from the top and bottom rather badly. This was agreed to be repaired by both parties, A1Motoring and myself. The workshop and A1Motoring further confirmed that the vehicle was repaired. The vehicle was then handed over to me, and I was requested to sign a warranty indemnity form, as all repairs were deemed to have been fixed by the parties involved.

The following day after collection, the vehicle did not seem right to me and I sent it in for another check. It was then uncovered that the workshop had not done the compression test (they had forgotten to do so) and I was right about my gut feel on the engine fault.

The workshop apologized for their mistake and oversight and agreed to carry out an engine overhaul for me at $3600.00 (claiming to be their cost price). I approached Mr Chua with regards to the issue, as it was misrepresented to me that the car was problem free and serviced prior to handover. It was also further misrepresented to me that the vehicle had already been fixed, thus no further warranty claims can be raised against A1Motoring. Mr Chua has since been ignoring my messages (showing blue tick in Whatsapp) and when I went down personally to confront him, he still had the cheek to ask me how the vehicle was cheekily! He refused to bear his share of the repairs and taunted me to go to the authorities or relevant organisations.

Further checks on their Facebook site, it seems that the dealer deletes unfavourable comments and reviews. There was a negative comment which was then defended by two “customers”, Steve and another lady, citing that their relatives had purchased vehicles from A1motoring with no issues! (The review was deleted, so you won’t able to see it when you visit the site)

Do share this around so that this dealer may be boycotted at all costs!
