HALIMAH STAY YISHUN NOT ISTANA. WASTE OF RESOURCES?
As the president of Singapore, the first she did is wasting the country’s fund?
By staying in her flat. Public servants have to guard her HDB area and step up the security in the area. At the same time taking up a unit of our ‘affordable HDB’ homes. The point is her as a president of the country staying anywhere else than the Istana is a waste of resource.
Why?
The Istana is the official residence and office of the President of Singapore. Meaning “palace” in Malay, it is where the President receives and entertains state guests. She doesn’t stay that place, the place would still be required to maintain including the guards. All this are cost. Now no one is staying there would that not be a complete waste? Why not we tear it down and use the yearly budget to help the needy.
So now every time she needs to entertain state guest she would be required to travel down to the Istana (again another set of security escorts, $$$ again). Or you expect state guest to go Yishun?
At the same time now a whole set of security detail has to guard her area at Yishun. Is that not a waste of resources? By now the media has reported that even parking lots are reserved for police in her area.
This show something clear, making this decision to stay in Yishun was based on personal reasons and not as a president of the country. As someone that safe guard our National reserves, he or she should
Start by:
- reducing wastage of National funds
- safe guarding it
- growing it.
Looks like she already failed in step 1.
In a report posted by the Channel News Asia, she said the following:
“Security issues, I will leave it to the security department. I think they know how to secure the area, but I think it’s a very nice comfortable place. I’ve been living there for many years.”
Again based on personal, not rational decision. No course of decision making.
As a president, every single action or decision you made. People are looking at you. Simple analysis will show your caliber from simple things like this.
Sorry for my long rant.
I end it off with #NOTMY……….. you complete it for me.
NETIZEN WARNS: SCAMMER OPEN 6 FIGURE CHEQUE! BOUNCE CHEQUE!
<Facebook Messages: Alam Shah>
Greetings,
Recently I read and new in asiaone.com about a company that their boss gone missing and employee are not been paid.
A former employee then posted in stomp somewhere in early June 2013. Business Allianze Services Pte Ltd was the name of the company who was SATS sub-contractor.
This is the same company I have problem with and the owner who is a female Chinese citizen and a PR in Singapore is not replying. Mrs Lin Jie who is the owner move from her Pasir Ris hdb to Toa Payoh condo. Her husband Mr Paul Sin who most of the employee know as the boss is running the company.
Mr Paul has given me several cheques, and I found out these dosent belong to him and that the sign and issue to me. Police has classified this as a fraud case. In 2015 I was told that the was in jail for a few day due to some CAD case.
Untill now, after 2 years of waiting, he will only promise me a date to pay and then he will be uncontactable. He will promise me every week but then give so many reason when the times come. I was told that he is s heavy gambler who is always in MBS.
I have info that he is always in MBS but to look for him there is as good as paying $100 per day
I came to visit his house in Pasir Ris and the house seems like it’s been sealed by HDB. I was told that he and his wife Ms Lin Jie is staying in a condo in Toa Payoh.
I will attach all the cheques that he gave me and I believe that many are looking for him. I even have people from Myanmar looking for him as I was told that he cheat them with fake contracts and project.
He is a very dangerous man and I hope nobody falls into his trap.
Thank you.

WHY SINGAPORE AUNTIES CANNOT LET PEOPLE ALIGHT FIRST?
I was waiting for a train at Jurong East and I had to take this picture. Nowadays more and more aunties think they have the right to board the trains without letting passengers alight.
This ‘creatures’ should be fined for not letting passengers alight first. I wonder why. It’s always SG aunties, first one go in getting a seat? lazy cannot stand? If really got problem got reserved seats.
Or you first one go in you get the first prize? Singapore aunties, please stop throwing our face.
How I Treat Them
On the other hand, when I’m alighting I would be seeing this creature refusing to let me alight. Well, what I always do is, if these aunties want to play rugby I will play too let’s see who more power and who get hurt.
They have to be taught a lesson.

WHY THE YOUNGER SINGAPOREAN SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THE LATE PRESIDENT ONG TENG CHEONG!
Ok. If I knew I would be the only one who said Ong Teng Cheong is my favourite President, I would have given an essay answer. So here goes:
1. He’s most well known for being the first (and only) president who actually cared about WHAT was in our reserves and whether it was used properly. Google “56 man-years”.
2. He was well loved by the people for standing up for their livelihoods. He was the first (and only) NTUC Union Head to sanction a strike for shipyard workers. Bloody Americans refused to pay and wanted to pull a fast one. He said: Go forth and whoop some white ass. Problem solved in 2 days. And Tony Tan, then Minister of Trade, had a fit.
3. He was well respected by his peers. One of the golden boys considered Prime Minister material by LKY. The rest were Goh Chok Tong, Tony Tan and S. Dhanabalan.
Fun fact: LKY said we were not ready for an Indian PM. 27 years, and 69% approval rating later, we are still not ready for an Indian PM. #tharmanforPM
4. He was well hated by his peers by the time he questioned our Singapore reserves and opposed the unofficial and hasty sale of POSB (a stat board and our people’s piggy bank) to DBS. But I think they still secretly loved and respected him as a friend. Because he had balls, and built up trust over the years within PAP, he was able to stretch boundaries in order to make good change.
5. Sadly, he didn’t continue for a second term because his wife was dying of cancer and he wanted to spend time with her. When he died, he didn’t get a proper state funeral like LKY did. Because look what happens when you defy your clique openly?
I was sec 1 when he died and vaguely remembered news that our school flag will not be at half mast though the president died.
I think the most important quality he had was that he listened. No one was beneath him. He truly listened to the ordinary folks. So hint to any prospective PM, please listen, rapid fire lecturing is quite condescending.
