“Under our regulations, taxis and private-hire cars are meant to carry passengers for hire and reward, and cannot be used solely for the conveyance of goods.”

“However, passengers who hire a taxi or a private-hire car are allowed to carry goods with them.”

Recently, Amazon used taxi’s to fulfil orders as the Amazon had a overwhelm respond from the shoppers. Its not like the taxi’s are doing something illegal. Some extra money won’t hurt right?

I just wanna share my bad experience as a seller on Carousell. I do have a lot of cust however this is the first bad experience. And after seeing his profile, yesterday onwards a lot of bad reviews popped out. Apparently he kept on insisting COD, instead of transferring payment due to “not having POSB account in SG” as a sailsman.

My price for 2 sets of boys baju kurung was $90. He kept on negotiating to $80 then to $60 which was unrealistic so i sticked to my initial price. Really convinced me COD and even sent me his permit picture.

So today was the day that he suggested to meet. He say 7am would be nice as he had a flight back to Indonesia for “holiday”. Waited at 7am but he said 8am would be nicer. Then 9am, and he said he is otw. End up 10am now he say he cant make it due to flight. Now im left with 2 sets of boys baju kurung purchased using my own hard earned money while he just backout. Just wanna share this story to let other sellers be aware of these irresponsible buyers who wants COD and ends up disappearing w reasons….

Hi Uncensored Singapore,

I’m Jane Goh, sending an email to you with regards to a pervert alert in the MRT.

I usually board the train from Marsiling MRT to Orchard for work on a daily basis, but today is a traumatic experience I saw and became a victim of! I’m very angry and I wish to highlight this to raise awareness for all women of Singapore.

At 7.50am, I manage to get a seat around the first cabin of the train.

At Sembawang, I saw a short fat guy was walking up and down the first cabin in a weird manner looking at people. I didn’t gave it much thought thinking as it’s crowded, probably he was looking for a comfortable spot to stand.

What gave him away was he was standing near a lady when there are more less crowded spaces to stand. The lady realise something was amiss and move further away from him.

When the seat beside me was vacated at Yio Chu Kang, he quickly sat down and kept glancing over to look at me. I realise but didn’t do anything as I was keep an eye on him.

Upon reaching Bishan station, as the train was stopping a few times as SMRT is still undergoing signal tests which they claimed, I felt not once, not twice but three brushes from his elbow towards my upper arm! I quickly stood up and gave him a stare. He quickly act as he is sleeping!

Can you believe it! I’m so mad that I have to snap his STUPID SHORT AH PUI FACE and take note of anything that can be recognisable from him which is a small mole on right upper arm and a mole of his left arm. And he is about 160-165cm ONLY! SHORT MOTHERF**KER!!

I’ve circled them so it will be easy for Singaporeans to spot him! Please don’t blur his eyes as I do want him to stop his hideous and unacceptable behaviour.

A 25-year-old and a 20-year-old was involved after renting camera equipment and selling it online to make money.

The police arrested the duo on last Wednesday. The police were able to recover some of the camera equipment that was found in possession from a flat located at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 8. Other illegal items such as stun guns and batons were also discovered at the unit.

Identification cards and passport that did not belong to the duo was also discovered on the scene. (looks like that are more shady business than meets the eye).

NDP pamphlets in the news when students discovered that the Tamil words printed on the pamphlets itself had nonsensical Tamil words.

According to Minister of Defence, his defence is that the pamphlets printer the wrong characters because of the faulty printer.

The original version sends to the printer had no errors. The error was initially discovered by Primary 5 students after the pamphlets got distributed.
