A Singaporean men 32 years Daniel old went to 6 different countries just to find a teddy bear that he gave his ex girlfriend 5 years ago. The teddy bear is believed to be a memento of his deceased ex-girlfriend.

China, Japan, Australia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan.

His ex girlfriend left Singapore for a business trip and was due to return in 3 days, he received the news that his girlfriend pass away after involving herself in another woman’s robbing incident in Taiwan.

Most of her belongings has been returned to Singapore after the incident. Other than the bear. The bear was his first present to his girlfriend.

Daniel travelled each country and back tracing all the hotels she stayed to find the bear. Yes the bear was found in China, Beijing in a hotel lobby’s lost and found.

The Chinese Garden was shut yesterday evening (4 AUG) after a deteriorated body of a 42-year-old female was discovered gliding close to the shore of Jurong Lake.

The Singapore Civil Defense Force (SCDF) was alarmed at 1.50pm and sent two flame bicycles, a Red Rhino, a flame motor and a rescue vehicle to the scene.

The police cordoned off the White Rainbow Bridge, which permits guests to cross the lake to enter principle attractions, for example, the Garden Courtyard.

A police tent was set up by the shore.

A security watchman, who declined to be named, said he had quite recently had his lunch when he heard a confusion at the scaffold.

He saw a substantial group there and got some answers concerning the body from his boss.

He said: “I was extremely stunned to catch wind of this. I never anticipated that something like this would happen.”

Two SMRT train drivers and one team Manager had been infected with tuberculosis (TB).

Three of them from Tanah Merah station were infected four to six weeks back. Not everyone who is infected with TB develops TB disease.

SMRT has subsequent did TB screening for its Tanah Merah staff, yet it is not known how many of them been screened.

Dr Asok Kurup, an infectious disease specialist at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, said: “The degree of infectiousness depends on the severity of symptoms. If someone has minimal symptoms, we don’t expect them to be posing much risk.”
