TikTok user @mitsueki posted a video detailing her experience waiting 5 hours in line at the customs of Johor Bahru.
She described it as the “longest immigration queue ever experienced at JB Customs”, sharing that she reached the complex at 11.50am and only entered JB at 5pm.
Long snaking queues could be seen at the complex, and even after 3 hours, the situation was still roughly the same and the queue barely moved.
Several other travelers were seen sitting down while waiting in line, and Mitsueki and her friends, who were starving by this point, decided to sit down and have a picnic while waiting.
She added that she could “even read a book” while waiting for the queue to dwindle down, and after they managed to clear immigration at 5pm after 5 hours, she said that she “can’t believe we endured this”.
