According to a media release, the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) had arrested 9 men and 1 woman aged between 28 and 62 for their suspected involvement in drug-related offences.

In the process, a total of about 11,118g of heroin, about 101g of ‘Ice’, 30 ‘Ecstasy’ tablets and fragments, and 1 Erimin-5 tablet and cash amounting to $18,400 were seized from the raids. The drugs seized are estimated to be worth about $800,000.

- 2 at Woodlands with 1,111g of heroin, 90.5g of ‘Ice’ and $8,400 cash seized
- 1 at Rivervale Drive with 5,232g of heroin seized
- 2 at Teck Whye Lane with 1,895g of heroin seized
- 1 at Teck Whye Crescent with 4g of heroin seized
- 2 at Chua Chu Kang Street 51 with 5g of ‘Ice’, 20 ‘Ecstasy’ tablets, 1 Erimin-5 tablet and 1,905g heroin seized
- 1 at Chua Chu Kang Ave 1 with 14g of heroin seized
- 1 at Chin Swee Road with 957g of heroin, 5.5g of ‘Ice’, 10 ‘Ecstasy’ tablets and fragments, and cash amounting to $10,000 were seized
According to the CNB, the amount of drugs seized in the raids is enough to feed the addiction of 5290 abusers for a week.
