It’s unfortunate that we took turns to have Covid.
My husband gotten Covid a week back and I took care of him, buying food back, cooking and housework so he can rest well. On his 6th day, I tested positive too.
It’s truely very torturous as I have pain all over, especially in my joints. I am so tired that I just sleep all day.
I told him I need him to help me get food during the first 2 days at least and it was pretty fortunate that he is still on MC. And also he has to do some streaming of f clothes else he doesn’t have clothes to wear to work on Monday.
But he just ask me to call food delivery instead while he sit there and play games all day. So for 2 straight days, we ordered in.
For the past 2 days, he don’t do the steaming of clothes, Sunday then last minute wake me up to ask me how to do this that. Then keep complaining difficult to use …bleh So I told him, he can choose not yo do it, but then he must wear wrinkled shirts to work lo.
In the end he also do it but grumble grumble grumble.
He still dare grumble ah!? Water no more already he also won’t boil! Last time ask him buy electric kettle (knowing how lazy he is), he say don’t want, normal kettle cheaper, can cook more… Etc, now ask him cook once, he cannot…
In the quiet district of Aranyaprathet, Sa Kaeo, a recent incident has raised eyebrows and sparked public outrage. The Royal Thai Police (RIP) is under scrutiny for their handling of an assault case that led to the tragic death of a 47-year-old woman. This article delves into the details of the case, shedding light on the controversies surrounding the investigation.
II. The Disturbing Footage
A. CCTV Revelation
The investigation took an unexpected turn when a TV reporter uncovered security camera footage. The footage revealed a group of teenagers, aged between 13 and 16, assaulting the victim, identified as Buaphan, who was believed to be mentally unstable.
B. Husband’s Arrest and Release
Buaphan’s husband, Panya Khongsaengkham, initially confessed to the crime and was promptly arrested. However, after the emergence of the security camera footage, he was released. The focus shifted to the five teenagers, who were subsequently apprehended and questioned in connection with Buaphan’s death.
III. Public Distrust
A. Allegations of Nepotism
Amidst public outcry, speculations arose that one of the teenagers involved was the son of a local policeman. This fueled suspicions about the police’s handling of the case, with many questioning whether Mr. Panya was made a scapegoat.
B. Seeking Justice
Buaphan’s relatives, accompanied by activist Kanthat Pongpaiboonvej, approached deputy national police chief Pol Gen Surachate Hakparn, urging a fair and transparent investigation. They expressed frustration over their inability to locate Mr. Panya after his release.
IV. Pol Gen Surachate’s Intervention
Pol Gen Surachate assured a thorough investigation and personally traveled to Aranyaprathet to oversee the case. He acknowledged the intensified calls for changes in laws dealing with minor offenders but emphasized the need for careful deliberation.
V. Police Committee and Investigation
A. Committee Formation
Pol Col Pichet Srichantra, chief of Aranyaprathet police station, formed a committee to investigate why Mr. Panya confessed to killing his wife. He maintained that the police had obtained the security camera footage and arrested the teenagers before the news broke.
B. History of Abuse
Citing witnesses, Pol Col Pichet revealed Mr. Panya’s history of domestic violence. He suggested that the confession might have been coerced under pressure, leading to Mr. Panya’s release upon reviewing the camera footage.
VI. Preventive Measures
Pol Maj Gen Omsin Boonyanuson, chief of Sa Kaeo police, took preventive action by transferring the father of one of the suspects, who is a policeman, to the provincial police office. This move aimed to avoid any potential intervention in the investigation.
VII. Revisiting the Case
Local media reports indicated that the police had to reevaluate the case after CCTV footage, submitted by a news channel, showed Buaphan allegedly being harassed and attacked by the teenagers. The footage suggested a potential motive for the assault.
VIII. Conclusion
In the quest for justice, the Royal Thai Police faces the challenging task of untangling a web of complexities in the Sa Kaeo case. Public scrutiny and demands for legal reforms echo the need for a thorough, unbiased investigation.

My girlfriend and I met in the first year of uni. when I first lay my eyes on her, I knew she was the one. However, there was only one problem: she was attached. But I was going to overcome this hurdle nonetheless, afterall we were studying in an overseas uni and her boyfriend was in the army. I knew I could come in between their LDR – it was just a matter of time.
In addition, I knew i had a height advantage – I was 190cm and he was only 172cm. I feel like my looks are above average as well so I think that helped me in a way. On a normal day, I would ask when she was going to call her boyfriend so I could give her time and space. But in my heart I secretly wanted her all for myself.
I waited patiently, for my time to strike. It had been a few weeks now and I thought about how to disrupt their daily calls as they were still going strong. Thus, I had to purposely ask her to go for random courses and classes in the evening, as that was the only time she could call her boyfriend (due to the time difference between singapore and UK). Slowly but steadily, she started to reschedule or even cancel the calls with her boyfriend – to my pleasure.
She slowly grew attached to me, and told me some heartfelt thoughts like how she felt distant with her boyfriend. She asked me for advice of what to do and obviously I had to sow discord between them and even made her doubt their relationship.
In addition, I used a fake instagram account that I bought online to mask myself as some ex classmate of hers (let’s call her Jane) and saying things like how her bf was cheating on her. Finally, the turning point in their relationship came. The LDR, constant fights and distrust became too hard to bear. They broke up and she naturally came falling into my arms.
I feel bad and actually guilty for doing such things thats why I’m writing this confession. My question to you guys is that if you were in my shoes, what would you do for love? what boundaries would you break and what morals would you shatter – to attain this entity we call love?
TLDR: Just because there is a goalkeeper, dosent mean you cannot score a goal. I hope this story inspires people out there whose crushes are attached, where I want you guys to know that nothing is impossible, just follow your dreams.
A coroner’s inquiry has shed light on the tragic demise of Hla Thein Aung, a 37-year-old construction worker from Myanmar, who fell four storeys to his death while painting a condominium in Bedok, according to a report by Channel NewsAsia.
The inquiry, held on Tuesday (Jan 16), uncovered details surrounding the incident that occurred on January 12, 2023, making it the first workplace fatality reported in 2023.
Was Standing On Aircon Ledge
Hla Thein Aung, employed by ISOTeam C&P, was tasked with painting the exterior wall and aircon ledge of a block at the Waterfront Isle condominium along Bedok Reservoir Road. Alongside a co-worker, both of whom were connected to a lifeline in the morning and equipped with standard safety gear, they took a lunch break around noon.
After the break, Hla Thein Aung, seemingly influenced by his seniority, opted not to connect his harness to the lifeline, a crucial personal fall protection system. His co-worker, reluctant to remind him of the safety measures, observed as Hla Thein Aung proceeded to work without the necessary precautions.
Tragically, around 4.10 pm, a loud bang was heard, and Hla Thein Aung was discovered lying motionless at the basement level. An investigation revealed that he had removed his safety equipment, including his helmet and boots, shortly before the fall.
Likely To Have Consumed Alcohol or Drugs
The court learned that the company failed to identify a safe means of accessing the ledge for the painting job, violating safety regulations. Despite a stop-work order issued by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and a three-month ban on employing new foreign workers, ISOTeam C&P lifted the order after implementing a revised safety system.
A toxicology report indicated the presence of substances, including nitrazepam, in Hla Thein Aung’s urine and blood, potentially affecting his motor skills and balance. The police also found that the deceased had also “likely consumed alcohol or drugs before or during his work period”.
The investigation also uncovered a prior prescription of paracetamol and a tendency for medical leave on Mondays and Tuesdays, along with occasional alcohol consumption.
No Foul Play
The police found no evidence of foul play, and MOM’s investigation officer, Mr. Mohd Hafidz, emphasized the importance of maintaining “100 per cent tie-off” for workers at elevated heights. The revised safety system now involves rope access technicians performing tasks in unreachable areas, ensuring workers are secured at all times.
State Coroner Adam Nakhoda will provide his findings at a later date. As the details of this tragic incident emerge, it serves as a stark reminder of the critical need for adherence to safety regulations in the workplace, particularly in high-risk occupations like construction.

My older sister has a history of unhealthy behaviour and has been arrested a lot of times. She has done many things to my brothers and me that hurt us. Even Disappears for periods of time and shows up when she needs something.
My sister has been gone and out of contact with us for a year and when she came back she brought a fiance with her. She was really charming and nice to us which she is normally only like that when she needs or wants something from us.
When I met her fiance I realised he was a generally nice person who made a good amount of money, my brothers and I all thought it is best he knows an important part about my sister before she marries him, which is her being a “siao person”.
When we told him he did not believe us and went to get our sister she asked him to wait in the car and started crying saying she is a changed person and she believes she was a bit “siao” and said sorry for all the times she mistreated us and also said she does not understand why we would try to ruin the happiness in her life.
My brother felt bad and apologised to her and even said he will go speak to her fiance to take it back, I told my brother we should not because we were being honest and he said everyone deserves a second chance.
My mom does not think she changed but believes it was not our business to get involved in their personal relationship like that.
I don’t believe anyone can change from being a “siao person” and “siao person” don’t feel real connections so why should we watch someone go fall into our sisters trap, I mean we all know what she likes and how she treats people like objects.
