MAN THREW MOLOTOV COCKTAIL INTO MP’S HOUSE & SET HIS CARS ON FIRE, ARRESTED FOR ARSON

0

In the early morning of January 10, a shocking incident in Malaysia unfolded at the residence of Beruas Member of Parliament, Datuk Ngeh Koo Ham.

His porch was engulfed in flames, leading to the destruction of one car and significant damage to two others. This unsettling event turned out to be an arson attack employing a Molotov cocktail. The Perak police swiftly arrested a suspect, shedding light on a concerning act of violence against a public figure, according to Berita Harian and Bernama.

The Fiery Morning

The day started with chaos as BOMBA (Malaysia’s fire department) rushed to Datuk Ngeh Koo Ham’s residence upon receiving reports of the fire. Unfortunately, by the time they arrived, one car had already succumbed to the flames, and the other two vehicles on the porch suffered severe damage.

Following investigations, the Perak police, led by Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri, confirmed that the incident was indeed an arson attack using a Molotov cocktail. This revelation raised questions about the motives behind targeting the Member of Parliament’s home.

Law enforcement acted swiftly, apprehending a suspect in his 30s at 4 am on January 12 in Shah Alam, Selangor. The police not only detained the individual but also seized two mobile phones, suggesting a thorough investigation into the potential motives and collaborators involved in the attack.

Suspect’s Background

The Perak police chief disclosed that the suspect had no previous criminal record. This fact adds complexity to the case, leaving investigators to delve deeper into the individual’s background, potential affiliations, and motivations for carrying out such a brazen attack on a public official’s property.

The case is being pursued under Section 435 of the Penal Code, addressing the offense of arson. If found guilty, the perpetrator could face up to 14 years in jail and be required to pay a substantial fine. The severity of these potential consequences reflects the gravity of the crime committed.

Investigation Continues

As the suspect awaits remand until January 16 for further investigations, the authorities are leaving no stone unturned. The motive behind the attack, any potential accomplices, and the broader implications for public figures’ safety are under scrutiny.

0

Racism reared its ugly head in a recent online story, as a property agent’s discriminatory remarks towards an individual named Kalvin during a house inquiry stirred outrage among netizens.

This incident, which took place in Malaysia, sheds light on the importance of fostering respect and inclusivity, emphasizing the need to condemn racism in all its forms.

The Twitter Revelation

In a bold move, netizen Kalvin, known as @Kalvinderks_ on Twitter, took to her social media platform to expose a property agent’s rude and racist behavior during their communication. The revelation sparked a significant online discussion about the prevalence of discrimination.

Kalvin, concerned about maintaining respectful interactions, advised the property agent to exhibit politeness in their conversation. However, the response she received was shocking. The agent expressed a blatant unwillingness to work with individuals of Indian or Punjabi descent.

Kalvin shared details of the conversation on Twitter, stating, “I don’t normally do this but this is completely UNACCEPTABLE. Contacted a property agent, his response was fine initially, but immediately after obtaining my name and race, he was rude. When I questioned him, see (for yourself) what he said. He blocked me right after.”

The Apology Video

Following the exposure and subsequent dismissal, the property agent, @alanchia1993, decided to address the issue by sharing an apology video on his Twitter account. In the video, he expressed sincere regret, acknowledging the gravity of his actions.

In the apology video, the property agent began by saying, “First and foremost, I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize to all my Indian and Punjabi friends, as well as Ms. Kalvin.” He openly admitted and apologized for the racist remarks made on WhatsApp, clarifying that he never intended to cause harm.

The property agent recognized that his actions involved multiple parties, especially his Indian friends. He accepted that his behavior was wrong and expressed a newfound understanding of the unacceptability of his attitude.

A Stark Reminder

This incident serves as a stark reminder of the pressing need to promote respect, inclusivity, and condemn racism unequivocally. The online community’s reaction highlights the collective stance against discriminatory practices.

MAN RAGING BECAUSE WIFE GOT A TATTOO, ANGRY UNTIL LEAVE HOUSE

0

My wife (27F) got a tattoo and I (29M) am inexplicably furious when I look at it or her now. Where do I go for help?

This is so beyond my character and it’s so stupid but the emotions are real and they’re out of control.

I’ve been having panic attacks into the months leading up to it every time its mentioned, but I soldiered on thinking I would get used to it.

She got it yesterday and now any time I see her, and doubly so if I see that thing, I feel nothing but pure contempt, hatred, and resentment.

I’ve had to completely remove myself from the household for the time being or I risk doing something stupid. This isn’t like me at all and i have no idea what’s going on. It’s just a tattoo!

I love her so much, and she loves it and I want to be happy she’s happy but instead I feel no love or even care for her when I’m in the same room. I’m scared of myself.

I’m just looking for some perspective on what I should do. I recognize how messed up my own head must me right now, and how stupid this is.

This isn’t me. I want myself back. I’ve already cut some deep verbal wounds because I want her to hurt, we separate rooms I calm down, realize how stupid I’m being, go to apologize, and my blood is boiling again when I see her.

I need help but I don’t know what help I need. Please, any direction on where to go or what to do.

I’m prepared to be crucified. I deserve it. I am the bad guy here.

COUPLE GOT TRICKED INTO SIGNING AWAY DAUGHTER & PUTTING HER UP FOR ADOPTION WITHOUT KNOWING

0

In a gut-wrenching tale of deceit and betrayal, a foreign couple in Malaysia finds themselves entangled in a nightmarish situation after being tricked into signing away their 3-year-old child’s rights by their employers, a local couple doubling as babysitters, according to World of Buzz.

This heart-wrenching story unfolds a saga of lies, deception, and a desperate fight to reclaim what is rightfully theirs.

The Deceptive Babysitting License

Counsellor in training, Mega Murthi, brought this tragic incident to light on her TikTok account. The local couple, entrusted with babysitting the foreign couple’s child, exploited their vulnerability.

Under the guise of obtaining a babysitting license for foreigners, the local couple manipulated the unsuspecting parents into signing adoption papers, slyly robbing them of their parental rights.

The foreign couple, hailing from India, placed their trust in the local couple who claimed the signed documents were necessary for emergency hospital visits. The couple, working in a foreign land, believed in the legitimacy of the ‘babysitting license’ process, only to later discover the horrifying truth.

As time went by, the local couple not only denied access to the child but also evicted the foreign couple from their living quarters. Left with nowhere to turn, the devastated parents sought refuge at a Hindu temple, contemplating a tragic end to their lives.

Mega Murthi’s Intervention

Mega Murthi, upon learning of this dire situation, intervened to prevent a devastating outcome. She is actively supporting the foreign couple, bringing attention to their plight both offline and online, seeking assistance from legal channels to reunite them with their child.

Allegedly, the local couple has been conditioning the child to reject her biological parents. Reports suggest that during a police station encounter, the child, influenced by the local couple, expressed a reluctance to be with her birth parents, branding them as “bad people.”

The foreign couple, assisted by Mega Murthi, has filed reports at the Ampang Jaya and Sentul police stations. Currently, they are seeking legal assistance from the Indian embassy to navigate the complexities of the legal battle and reclaim their child from the clutches of deception.

MAN KILLED & CHOPPED OFF VICTIM’S HEAD BECAUSE BOMOH TOLD HIM TO, HAS DEATH SENTENCE OVERTURNED

0

In August 1994, a chilling incident unfolded at the Kim Swee Leong oil palm plantation in Pahang, Malaysia, as Francis Anthonysamy, a palm oil estate worker, beheaded his Bangladeshi colleague, Ali Ahammed Mohammed Ullah, according to The Star.

This gruesome act was purportedly guided by advice from a bomoh, a local shaman, who suggested that such an extreme measure could bring Francis luck in winning the lottery. The subsequent legal journey and recent developments in Malaysia’s justice system have cast a spotlight on the case.

Francis’s actions on that fateful night involved getting Mr. Ali intoxicated and wielding a parang to carry out the horrific act. This incident, echoing a blend of superstition and desperation, would have profound implications for both individuals involved and the broader legal landscape in Malaysia.

Legal Verdict: Death Sentence

The High Court in Temerloh, Pahang, delivered its verdict on October 21, 1996, sentencing Francis to death. For three decades, Francis sought to overturn this sentence, attempting appeals in 2002 and 2005, only to face repeated setbacks.

In a pivotal move, Malaysia abolished the mandatory death penalty in July 2023. This groundbreaking decision bestowed judges with the discretion to replace death sentences with prison terms ranging from 30 to 40 years, applicable to serious crimes such as murder, treason, kidnapping, terrorist acts, and drug trafficking.

Commutation and Legal Argument

Francis, now 52, seized the opportunity presented by this legal reform. Following a review application, his death sentence was commuted to 35 years’ imprisonment. Lawyer Abdul Rashid Ismail, representing Francis, emphasized that the crime did not involve terrorism and had only one victim, presenting a compelling argument against the severity of the initial sentence.

Francis is not alone in this transformation. Among the 17 prisoners aged between 45 and 63, his case mirrors a broader shift in sentencing. Death sentences and natural life imprisonment terms were commuted to jail sentences ranging from 30 to 35 years, marking a significant departure from Malaysia’s previous approach to capital punishment.

The evolution in Malaysia’s legal framework signifies a departure from the rigid application of the death penalty.

WIFE FOUND OTHER WOMAN’S UNDERGARMENTS AT HOME, HUSBAND GOT QUESTIONED

0

Not sure how to tell my wife the truth

The past 2 years, as work from home became the norm, I began to have a lot of time to do what I wanted to do behind my wife’s back. It was like a liberation and I enjoyed every single moment.

The story started with my wife very often catching me looking at the photos of other very pretty women for long hours and chatting with them on facebook. I kept a different facebook identity for that purpose without her knowledge. So when she checks my facebook, she dont find the conversationd and photos. We had a number of heated exchanges because of this.

Things esclated when she came home and found long strands of hair. I explained to her it was “wind” and “open window”. But she became suspicious I was having an affair because the finding of long hair was quite regular. Once she even caught me with lipstick stains on my shirt. All hell broke lose when she found womens undergarments in the washing machine. She yelled at me that womens instincts are never wrong.

The truth I never told her is that the photos of the very pretty women I look at are my male friends and one of them on the photo is myself when we have our “sisters” day or night out. I am not sure how I can tell her that I dress up as a woman and that the hair she found is from my wig and that the makeup is my own lipstick. The undergarments are also mine. I am not sure how she will react to receive such shocking news. I fathom that it must be worse than I actually having a relationship behind her back?

I am really at cross roads and I am not sure where to start from.

GF IS JEALOUS THAT HER MAN IS OGLING OVER KPOP GIRL GROUPS

0

A girl shared how her boyfriend is obsessed with K-pop girl groups and that she is jealous and thinks that they are only good-looking and not good at singing or dancing.

Here is the story:

“My boyfriend is sort of obsessed with K-pop. He likes the popular girl groups and is low-key obsessed over a few of the members.

Although I dont like k-pop, I respect his music preference.

However, recently I saw him watching dozens of videos on youtube zooming in and validating the beauty/popularity of his bias.

Also saw him liking and saving photos with those captions e.g most beautiful women in the world.

When I found his ‘secret stash’ of k-pop, he kinda freaked out and tried explaining how those just “likes” and don’t mean anything.

I tried asking why he liked those idols to the point of saving their photos and posts and he mentioned that the main reason is that they are pretty.

I also realize that the visuals of the group aren’t exactly strong in dancing/singing so it just feels very superficial to be so obsessed over idols just for their appearance.

The fact that some of them don’t exactly have a good rep for their personality/talent, yet he chooses to ignore and defend against those claims blindly.

Now I’m starting to wonder what his true feelings are towards me and if they are just as superficial as his obsession with these idols.

Also, isn’t it weird to constantly watch idols online and admire/save photos of them while you are currently attached?”

Editor’s note: Kpop only, not like he’s doing anything wrong, what are you overreacting for?

SG girls are quite fake. no car says the guy harassing them. Got car then the guy is cute

0

Sg girls quite fake. no car say guy harassing them. Got car then guy is cute As a Singaporean woman, I have noticed a disturbing trend among my fellow females – the act of being fake. It seems that in our society, there is a constant pressure for women to present themselves as flawless and perfect, even if it means being disingenuous. This behavior is especially prevalent among young girls, and it is something that needs to be addressed.

First, let me clarify what I mean by being “fake.” To me, being fake means putting on a façade to impress others, rather than being true to oneself. It can manifest in different forms, such as pretending to be interested in something you are not, or exaggerating one’s achievements or possessions. But the most prevalent form of being fake among Singaporean girls is the act of portraying oneself as a victim, especially when it comes to interactions with men.

Girls using their gender as a weapon

This behavior is especially noticeable when it comes to the issue of harassment. In Singapore, incidents of harassment and assault are unfortunately not uncommon. However, instead of addressing the root cause of the problem and advocating for change, some girls choose to use their gender as a weapon to gain sympathy and attention from others.

For instance, I have witnessed numerous instances where girls would claim that a guy was harassing them, simply because he showed interest in them. These girls would go to great lengths to exaggerate the situation, making it seem like they were in danger or being violated. They would then share their “harassment story” on social media, garnering countless comments and likes from friends and strangers alike, portraying themselves as victims of male aggression.

I find this behavior to be deeply problematic. By making false claims of harassment, these girls not only trivialize the experiences of actual victims, but they also perpetuate harmful stereotypes about men. This not only further divides the already contentious relationship between men and women, but it also distracts from the real issue at hand – the prevalence of sexual harassment and assault in our society.

Moreover, this behavior also stems from a sense of entitlement and a need for validation. In the age of social media, there is a constant pressure to present a perfect image to the world. And for some girls, this means portraying themselves as victims to gain sympathy and attention. It becomes a competition of who can garner the most likes and comments, rather than addressing the root of the problem.

Car

But the most disturbing aspect of this behavior is the way it changes depending on the status of the guy in question. I have noticed that when a guy without a car shows interest in a girl, he is immediately labeled as a “creep” or a “pervert.” However, if the same guy were to suddenly acquire a car or a high-status job, he would suddenly become “cute” or “attractive.”

This double standard is not only unfair, but it also perpetuates the idea that a man’s worth is determined by his possessions and status. It reinforces the toxic mindset that a man needs to have certain material possessions in order to be considered desirable, while also implying that women are shallow enough to base their attraction solely on these external factors.

I have personally witnessed this change in behavior among some of my female friends. They would brush off a guy’s advances, claiming that he is “creepy” or “not their type,” only to suddenly become interested when he shows off his expensive car or takes them to an expensive restaurant. It is disheartening to see how easily some women can be swayed by material possessions, rather than genuine character and personality.

But what is even more concerning is the fact that this behavior is perpetuated by our society. In Singapore, we place a heavy emphasis on material possessions and status. We are bombarded with messages that equate success and attractiveness with having the latest gadgets, designer clothes, and expensive cars. It is no wonder that some girls have internalized this mindset and use it to judge the worth of men.

So, how do we address this issue? As with any societal problem, change starts with education and awareness. We need to have open and honest conversations about the damaging effects of being fake and the importance of being true to oneself. We need to teach young girls that their worth is not determined by their possessions or the attention they receive from men.

Furthermore, we need to address the toxic mindset that equates success and attractiveness with material possessions. We need to teach our youth that true success and attractiveness come from within, and not from external factors. By promoting a culture that values inner qualities such as kindness, intelligence, and empathy, we can slowly shift the focus away from material possessions and towards genuine character.

In conclusion, the prevalence of being fake among Singaporean girls is a concerning issue that needs to be addressed. The act of portraying oneself as a victim of harassment, solely for attention and validation, not only trivializes the experiences of actual victims but also perpetuates harmful stereotypes about men. We need to promote a culture that values inner qualities over material possessions and teach our youth the importance of being true to oneself. Only then can we hope for a more genuine and authentic society.

JAPAN FIRMS NOT BIDDING ON KL-SG HIGH SPEED, “RISKY” DUE TO NO FINANCIAL SUPPORT FROM M’SIA GOVT

0

The decision of Japanese firms to withdraw from the high-speed rail project raises significant questions about its future trajectory. The exit of key players, such as Japan East Railway Co., not only alters the competitive landscape but also opens avenues for other global players.

Previously… After the HSR project was cancelled by a previous administration in 2021, Anwar’s government resurrected the HSR project in 2023.

However, Japanese firms finally determined that participation in the HSR would be too dangerous without financial help from the Malaysian government, according to Kyodo News, citing Malaysian and Japanese official sources.

Project Cost and Expected Benefits

The Southeast Asian high-speed rail scenario has been evolving rapidly. With the completion of a similar project in Indonesia in 2023, where China Railway International played a pivotal role, the region is witnessing a surge in infrastructural developments. The Malaysian government’s decision to revive the HSR adds a crucial dimension, and the departure of Japanese firms could potentially pave the way for increased Chinese involvement.

A critical aspect of the HSR revival is the substantial projected cost of RM100 billion (S$28.68 billion). While the price tag is significant, the potential benefits in terms of reduced travel time between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur to just 90 minutes could be a game-changer for regional connectivity and economic collaboration.

Potential Chinese Involvement

The void left by Japanese firms creates an opportunity for Chinese companies to further solidify their presence in the high-speed rail sector within Southeast Asia. With the successful completion of the Indonesian project, China is positioned as a key player, and the HSR project in Malaysia may be the next strategic move in expanding its influence.

As Japanese firms step back, European companies are emerging as potential contenders for the HSR project. Kyodo News suggests that European firms could be considering bids, adding diversity to the pool of participants. The involvement of multiple international players brings a mix of technological expertise and strategic partnerships, enriching the overall project.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the decision of Japanese firms to opt out of the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High-Speed Rail project introduces a dynamic shift in its dynamics. The interplay between global players, the funding approach of the Malaysian government, and the geopolitical implications make the HSR revival a focal point for regional development. As the bidding deadline approaches on January 15, 2024, the stage is set for a new chapter in Southeast Asia’s high-speed rail narrative.

MAN RIDES E-SCOOTER WITH HIS KU KU BIRD THEN GOES OVER 70KM/HOUR

0

The world of e-scooters has witnessed a bizarre yet awe-inspiring phenomenon – a daring individual embracing the “Superman” riding style. With his crotch firmly on the seat and the e-scooter positioned flat facing down, this unconventional rider defies norms, achieving speeds exceeding 70 km/hour. In this article, we delve into the details of this extraordinary feat, exploring safety concerns, legal implications, and the potential impact on the e-scooter community.

The man deliberately jumps from a seated position and lands on his ku ku jiao to stop reproducing.

The heart of this phenomenon lies in the rider’s unique stance. Riding with the crotch on the seat and a flat-facing-down position requires exceptional skill and ultra-low IQ.

Modified E-scooter

What makes this riding style even more astonishing is the rider’s ability to reach speeds over 70 km/hour, pushing the limits of conventional e-scooter capabilities.

The Singaporean government takes a firm stance against the modification of PMDs, imposing substantial penalties on those found guilty. First-time offenders may face fines of up to $5,000, a jail term of up to three months, or a combination of both. This stringent approach underscores the gravity of the issue and emphasizes the need for compliance with PMD regulations.

This daring act may not be without consequences. We examine the legal implications, considering the regulations and guidelines surrounding e-scooter usage.

A recent video depicting a modified e-scooter allegedly reaching speeds of 70km/h on a Singaporean road has ignited public concern. Netizens were taken aback by the audacity of the rider, raising questions about the effectiveness of current regulations and enforcement measures.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the illegal modification of PMDs in Singapore demands urgent attention and collaborative efforts. Balancing legal consequences, ethical considerations, and the impact on local businesses is crucial for fostering a responsible and safe PMD culture.
