Gf (35F) wants me (30M) to change how I dress in my house after she moved in

Two weeks ago my girlfriend of 18 months and her daughter moved in with me. Her lease was up anyway and I live alone in a 3 bed house so we decided it was time for us to take the next step.

But ever since she moved in she’s been nagging me about how I dress around the house. I’ve always walked around either in shorts or boxers since I was basically a kid.

My girlfriend also walks around usually in shorts and either a t shirt or just a bra. I personally don’t care what she wears around the house.

But she keeps telling me that I shouldn’t walk around without a t shirt on and that I should wear trousers because apparently walking around topless around her daughter is “wrong”.

So I talked to her daughter and straight up asked her if she was uncomfortable with how I dress and she told me that she doesn’t care what I wear and that “mom is just being weird”.

We’ve been having these discussions and small arguments about this ever since she moved in and quite frankly I don’t know what to do.

I’m in my own house so I should be able to feel comfortable and wear whatever I want. Especially since both my girlfriend and her daughter wear what they want. But I just don’t know how to resolve this.

Growing up as a Chinese, Chinese New Year has always been a time for family gatherings.

This is especially so for my relatives who love to show off during family gatherings by cooking dishes with expensive ingredients. Every dish at the reunion dinner must have abalone, and this has been the same for many years.

I understand that abalone is a luxury ingredient and that it is a sign of prosperity. However, this has been the same for many years, and I get tired of eating the same ingredient 7 times during the reunion dinner.

My relatives want to act rich, but that means I have to suffer. I mean, I get it. It is a sign of prosperity and wealth, but eating the same ingredient over and over again really takes away the joy of a reunion dinner. I used to look forward to reunion dinner, but now it has become a chore.

The funny thing is that my relatives think that they are acting rich by cooking abalone. However, it is not really the best way to show off. I mean, there are other expensive ingredients that can be used to impress people. For example, lobster, sea cucumber and shark fin.

My relatives always say that abalone is the best way to show off and act rich. But I beg to differ. There are many other ways to show off and act rich. You can have a lavish dinner with expensive ingredients or you can show off your wealth by buying luxury items.

And that is why I am so tired of having the same ingredient 7 times during reunion dinner. I understand that it is a sign of prosperity and wealth, but it does not really impress people anymore. It is the same ingredient every single year, and it does not show off your wealth.

I understand why my relatives want to act rich during Chinese New Year. But I really wish that they would come up with something new and more creative. Showing off your wealth should not just be about buying expensive ingredients. It can also be about having a lavish dinner or buying luxury items.

But until then, I will have to suffer through reunion dinner with the same ingredient 7 times. I can already feel my stomach starting to turn at the thought of it.

(F25) (M25) My boyfriend of 6 years wants to explore other girls now what do I do ?

me and my boyfriend both are 25 years old . We have been together for very long time. We were talking even about getting married last year. He was ok with it as well.

He used to tell me sometimes that he would like to date someone but I thought it was a joke . But few days ago, he told me that ” he feels stuck with me since ages ” Dating me and he would like to know if there is something better for him out there .

He also said that he feels like he is stuck in a loop of 9-5 job and wants a change, want to meet new people and also would like to date if he finds someone interesting.

But he wants to be friends with me. He keeps saying if we are meant to be together, we will be, which is really irritating me .

We are in a long distance as of now and we will meet next month. He said ,that he would like to be friends with me and doesn’t want me to leave as he is not sure how would his exploration turn out.

This is really taking a toll on my mental health . I would like to move on but as it’s been very long time it’s very difficult .

I would like to know why do people break good relationships to be with an unknown person ( he said he very happy with me and never had issues)…

I really don’t know what have I done wrong and a way to move on while he immediately started to speak someone online the same day. Any advice would greatly help.

I am (25F) My fiancé (23M) and I have been together 4 years and engaged for about 8 months. I found flirty texts from his coworker (28F) from 6am- even 2am. Someone in the office even thought SHE was his fiancé :/

Something in me told me to look at my fiancés Apple Watch (I went thru phone a handful of times in the past to be honest). But anyway I saw messaged from his coworker. Went to bathroom and read more. They weren’t horrible, but concerning. Someone at work referred to her as his fiancé and they continued to use it to flirt about. He deleted text when I asked for his phone. I said I’m sorry but I just really need to see something and he let me look at it. Texts were deleted. He also prior to this went to the bar that coworker also works at so I asked him during that time if he went there bc he knows she works there. And he lied about it multiple times and doubled down on it. I brought it up again since I found the messages.

Anyway, I somehow figured out how to recover the messages thankfully before he completely deleted them (bc he lies and would attempt to get rid of them). He was texting her tonight until around 1:30am.

They play iPhone pool games all day everyday. Obviously they flirt over that. I found that every pic he sent to me over text (of dogs, etc) she also received and he also sent her more pics than what I got. He texts her “hey he my friend” or “I’m bored where’s my friend”. I don’t get texts like that. He says he missed her and stuff when not in office and asks her if she misses him when he is gone.

She left post it notes on his desk saying “try not to miss me too much” and “here is a pic of me if u get lonely” w a stick figure on his desk.

They text each other right when they wake up about what kind of sleep they had or if feeling sick. He constantly texts her to see how she’s feeling. They send their locations when they’re near where the other lives. He asked her if she wanted ice cream. They talk about going to the gym and I feel like there is hopes of meeting up. Sometimes when he mentions that I work late the gym is brought up whatever that means. They send pics to each other and she sends videos (nothing sexual but still). Apparently the clothing questions are because they have the same colored pants and they don’t want to match idk. The one day I was at his work she wasn’t there. And he old her. She acting sad she missed me and he said maybe I timed it like that (he didn’t I had an interview downtown and he works near)

Anyway I am really hurt. I feel stupid and dumb and he tried to lie to me about it over and over again which makes it worse. He says he’s sorry, he had no intentions of anything the whole time so he doesn’t think it’s that bad. He said he sees where I’m coming from. I don’t know what to do. I’m going to talk to my mom. I feel betrayed like he doesn’t respect me or our relationship. He also messaged her none stop when she’s at the bar and texts to make sure she made it home. He doesn’t text me when I’m at the bar like that . Says it’s because I’m having a good time w my friends. I’m in shock and sad. Don’t love the way it was so easy for him to lie to me and he is only sorry he got caught. I have tried to call my mom to see what she thinks on the situation, but she’s asleep. Need someone to talk to. Or get some opinions.

Sudden ED and I don’t know what to do.

I don’t really know what I’m hoping to get out of this post but maybe some of you have overcome this and can share your experience.

I (29M) have had a great life with my partner (31F) for 10 years. Never had any issues whatsoever, I’m usually the one with the higher libido.

Now as if somebody flipped a switch, the last 3 times we’ve gone for it I’ve started with a hardness but gone soft either during foreplay or during PiV and been unable to get it back.

I think it’s psychological as I’m in decent shape with no health issues, but I’ve been dealing with some confidence issues and anxiety lately.

By the same token though I’ve always had those issues to some degree and it’s never affected my performance in bed. I’ve always been the kind of guy who’s ready to go at the drop of a hat.

Do I need to see a therapist? This is really killing me, I was hoping my junk would at least work until I’m 40 :/
