WHY SOME PEOPLE WILL NEVER MAKE IT IN LIFE, WILL ALWAYS BE POOR & COMPLAIN

0

In today’s ever-changing world, it can be difficult for some people to make it in life and some may find themselves in the position of being poor and complaining daily.

This is often due to the fact that their priorities are not in the right place and they are wasting their time hanging out with people who have no ambition or drive to succeed.

As a result, they can end up becoming a loser themselves and this can be a detriment to their future success.

Ambition and drive

There are many factors that can contribute to someone not making it in life, with the most common being a lack of ambition and drive. Without ambition and drive, it is difficult to make progress and achieve success.

People who lack these qualities tend to be unmotivated and uninspired, which can lead to a lack of effort and commitment.

This can mean that they are not working hard enough to make a positive impact in their life.

Another factor that can contribute to someone not making it in life is their environment. If someone is surrounded by people who have no ambition and drive, then it can be difficult for them to stay motivated and inspired.

This is because they are not seeing any positive examples of success and are not being encouraged to strive for more. Furthermore, if someone has no positive role models to look up to and emulate, then it can be very difficult for them to make progress in life.

Wrong group of friends

Hanging out with the wrong people can also play a role in someone not making it in life. If someone is consistently surrounded by people who have no goals or ambition, then it is likely that they will become influenced by those people.

As a result, they might start to adopt a similar attitude and outlook on life, which can be damaging to their success. Furthermore, if someone is hanging out with people who are not motivated and driven, then they may be exposed to negative influences, such as drugs or criminal activities.

Lastly, if someone is not able to manage their finances and budget effectively, then they may find themselves in a position of poverty. Poor financial management can lead to a lack of money, which can cause people to become desperate and resort to illegal activities. Furthermore, it can be difficult to stay motivated and inspired when someone is constantly struggling to make ends meet.

As a result, it is important for people to be able to prioritize their goals and ambitions and to stay focused on their path to success. People need to be motivated and driven, and they need to surround themselves with positive influences.

Additionally, it is important for people to be able to manage their finances and budget effectively so that they can avoid poverty and have the resources to achieve their goals.

Overall, there are many factors that can contribute to someone not making it in life, such as a lack of ambition and drive, their environment, hanging out with the wrong people, and poor financial management.

It is important for people to be aware of these factors so that they can make the necessary changes in order to make progress and achieve success.

A woman in China shared on a Weibo post about how she ended up fracturing 4 of her ribs after having a spicy meal.

The woman from Shanghai said that she was eating a spicy dinner one night when she accidentally choked on her food and was coughing.

She then felt pain when she sits up or breathes, and she couldn’t even walk at all.

MAN’S WINE BOTTLE INSIDE LUGGAGE SMASHED INTO PIECES ON FLIGHT TO S’PORE

0

Netizen Judith shared that her son was on board a flight back to Singapore by United Airlines that was booked from Expedia SG.

After returning to Singapore, they found that their bottle of wine inside the luggage had been smashed into pieces, and spilt onto the clothes inside.

They tried to get help regarded the damages to the clothes and luggage, and were purportedly given a non-existent email.

They also added that they called United Airlines but didn’t get any response from them.

Here is what she said

My son was travelling back on Flights UA 2371 and UA 29, which was booked from Expedia SG with Ref: # 72431010137012.

Upon return to Singapore, we discovered that the bottle of wine inside was smashed into pieces when handling from the US.

When we tried to get someone to assist us regarding the extensive damages to the clothings and luggage itself, Expedia’s foreign agent provided us a non-existent email ([email protected]) to direct our queries to, while insisting they are not responsible whatsoever. Calls to United Airlines did not yield any responses.

Hence, fellow Singaporeans should exercise caution when booking travel tickets as it does not mean that aggresive advertisments on Mediacorp channels equals to quality or safety. I note though, that such incidents rarely happens when travelling on SIA as SIA’s customer service and handling is much better equipped and attentive to the needs of customers.

𝗗𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗖𝗗𝗙 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝘂𝘁𝘆

On 8 December 2022, SCDF was alerted to a fire at 91 Henderson Road at around 11.10am. During the firefighting operation, CPL Edward H Go (吴宏澤), 19, fell unconscious in the kitchen area. He was brought out of the unit and cardio-pulmonary resuscitation was administered on him. An SCDF ambulance crew at the scene also used the automated external defibrillator on him and conveyed him to Singapore General Hospital. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

CPL Edward enlisted with the SCDF to serve his National Service on 5 January 2022. He began his 12 weeks of training as a firefighter on 3 February 2022 and completed his training on 28 April 2022. Prior to enlistment, CPL Edward was certified medically fit and assessed to be of Physical Employment Standards’ (PES) ‘A’. After completing his Firefighter Course, CPL Edward was posted to Central Fire Station on 4 May 2022. Since his posting to the fire station, he had responded to more than 20 fire and rescue incidents.

SCDF frontline units comprise regulars, Full-time National Servicemen (NSFs) and Operationally Ready National Servicemen (ORNSmen), all of whom are trained to carry out roles as Rota Commanders, Section Commanders or Firefighters. In a fire or rescue emergency, officers of these vocations form a composite crew to respond to the incident. All the training for these different roles and responsibilities are carried out centrally at the Civil Defence Academy through various firefighting and rescue courses.

CPL Edward was part of the first response crew for the fire incident on 8 December 2022. SCDF officers, like CPL Edward, put their lives on the line each time they enter the scene of a fire in order to save others.

SCDF is deeply saddened by the death of CPL Edward. He is our first colleague to have fallen during an operation. We extend our deepest condolences to his family, and are providing them with our fullest support. With the agreement of the family, we will be holding a ceremonial funeral to honour CPL Edward H Go.

CONDOMS TO BE MADE FREE FOR ALL 18 TO 25-YEAR-OLDS FROM JANUARY ONWARDS, IN FRANCE

0

Young people between the ages of 18 to 25 will have free access to condoms with effect from January, as the country tries to stem the spread of STDs, according to the BBC.

French President Emmanuel Macron said that the youths will be able to collect free condoms from pharmacies, as he described the move as being a “small revolution in prevention.”

Between 2020 and 2021, the country saw a 30% increase in the number of STD cases.

Macron addressed the country’s education on intercourse, describing it as being challenging, he said: “We are not very good on this subject and the reality is very different from theory.”

The move also comes in the wake of other initiatives to improve access to contraception targeting the spread of STDs.

France previously made contraception free earlier this year, for all women up to 26 years old.

AUNTIE DIE DIE WANT TO ENTER MRT WHEN DOORS CLOSING, ARM CAUGHT AT THE DOOR

0

What’s with people rushing into trains when doors are closing?

Seriously though… What are the chances? On my train journey today I encountered 2 such instances back-to-back… so it got me thinking why some people do this?

First one was a family rushing to get into the train. They didn’t manage to all get in at first and someone got caught. The door reopened and the train was delayed by 1+min. Just… why? Is waiting 5min for the next train too long for u to risk getting u or ur kids caught by the door?

Second one was an auntie pulling a trolley and rushing to get into the train. The doors were already half closed and it was pretty clear that she couldn’t board in time. She didn’t even attempt to rush in… Still… She insisted, tried to just stroll in (almost nonchalantly), and managed to get her arm caught at the door. She did not even seem surprised so I think that she did this multiple times before. The door reopened and she simply walked in. She didn’t look like she was in a hurry so she could’ve just waited…

There was also that viral ‘life hack’ on tiktok that suggested ppl do just their arms to jam the door open so they can board the train… which is just plain stupid, dangerous and selfish

I simply don’t get why people risk getting caught by the train door and why they can’t simply wait a few more minutes for the next train. They managed to save themselves a few minutes by delayed everyone else on the train and those waiting further down the line so collectively wasted hundreds/thousands of minutes of everyone else’s time.

Feel free to share ur experiences… This seems to be getting more common nowadays… or maybe its just my confirmation bias and me noticing it happening more often after that tiktok
