CRAZY MANAGER SCREAMS LIKE A BABY AT PART TIMER TO FIND SOMEONE TO BLAME

0

My first real job was as a part time IT guy in a small company.

It wasn’t anything fancy, I just knew how to do a few things in code and the small company my mom worked at hired me to maintain their site.

So they didn’t have to pay the company that made the site a few hundred dollars every time they wanted to update the text or something. It seemed like a great job, I was getting paid above minimum wage and being my first job, I was really excited.

I quickly learned the boss/manager of this small company (about ten employees) had the most narcissistic personality I’ve ever encountered.

She lived in this weird delusional world where everything wasn’t her fault, and when something went wrong and was clearly because of her, she just went silent.

Being the only computer-savvy person, my job quickly went from updating web pages to solving all the issues, which I was fine with. I even automated a few things, setting up a file sharing service so they didn’t have to keep running flash drives back and forth, which everyone loved.

But there was one moment in particular that really stuck with me.

It really showed my boss’s faults. She had just purchased a brand new laptop and had been using it for a few days and kept complaining that her mouse would jump all around the screen for no given reason.

I took a look at it and it didn’t seem to be doing anything weird, so she thought I had fixed it. When the problem kept happening, she screamed at me that I intentionally broke it to make her frustrated, but I assured her I hadn’t done anything (she watched me the entire time I was looking at it).

She kept screaming about it for a few days, until one day I heard her scream (and I mean scream) like a toddler down the hall.

I walked in to ask what was the issue and she complained her mouse was jumping around the screen again. I watched what she was doing, and sure enough, the mouse was jumping around. Then I noticed, that her fingers were hitting the touchpad while she was typing, making the mouse move out of whatever field in the excel document and click on a different cell so her typing would be all over the place.

She insisted that’s not what was happening, so I took a coaster (like, what you put your glass on) and set it on top of her touchpad. She started typing and the mouse stopped jumping.

She didn’t say anything. I would have gone through the settings to disable the mouse while typing but she never really let me.

After I stopped working there, she emailed me every once in a while asking if I could update her site again, for free.

I just said I was too busy with schoolwork. I noticed recently that the site domain is for sale, so I’m guessing she went out of business.

GUY CHEATED ON GIRLFRIEND, THEN TELLS HER IT WAS BECAUSE SHE WAS “BORING”

0

Me and my partner have been together for 3 years. Since the day we met I have doted on him. He has been my everything. I’ve always been sensitive to his feelings and never put pressure on him to give me things or to do anything for me.

Things got really bad around a year ago and we broke up and he moved out of our apartment. It was terrible and we didn’t talk for a while. During every argument we have ever had, he has broken up with me and said I cause him stress. This has been 10 times maybe.

He says he doesn’t want to deal with things and will leave situations. He will put earphones in to block me out and refuse to talk to me. He will do this for days sometimes. He will say horrible things, and then be fine when he chooses to be.

At the start of this year we started seeing each other again. I moved back with parents, and he moved back with parents too. We have got on better than ever for months. Not one argument

He is still very insecure, accuses me of being with other people constantly and will always ask me if he’s ugly etc. I have gotten to the point where I don’t rise to it. I ignore and move on. Although for a while most times I speak he will call me names then say he’s joking. He will interrupt me, he will ask me to be quiet as he’s ‘had a long day’

He has just moved into his own place and his whole persona has changed. I can tell he is stressed and its hurting me to see

We had a disagreement on Tuesday night and he said he doesn’t need my stress too. That He has enough going on. I didn’t respond as I didn’t want to stress him.

Wednesday he messaged me and asked me to go over. I went and could tell he was in a mood instantly. I said I could go home if he wanted. He tried to sleep with me and I just didn’t feel like it was the right time.

He got moody and I said it was a wasted journey coming to his, as it was 11pm when I got there and after I said no to sleeping with him he just turned over and told me to leave.

I did not argue, I got my things and left. He followed me in his car and asked to drop me home. He explained he is stressed, is ‘messed up’ and can’t deal with this situation or his other stresses. I explained that I only want to help. He kept saying he is a bad person and how I deserve better.

I have expressed my worries told him I’d go and cook for him, to clean for him… anything to make his life easier.I told him I am not the enemy, that I am only trying to help look after him and do things to help his stress levels and he told me I am the enemy, that I am false and lying about wanting to help him. How I can leave him alone if I want to help him. Also that he has a headache because of me and that he hopes I am happy causing him stress

Anyways, days have gone past. He is still talking to me badly. Ignoring me. Saying he never wants to see me again or speak to me.

3 days ago I felt weird and had a gut feeling. I messaged some of the girls He follows on Instagram. All 3 of the ones I have messaged said he has replied to their stories with love heart eyed emojis, asked why they don’t respond to him… None of the girls responded to him.

I confronted him and he blocked me on WhatsApp and told me to have a nice life. Then told me I’m crazy via phone call… Told me he is allowed to change his mind. He can’t see why I’m upset. He lied and said it was only one girl he messaged.

Since the Convo, 2 more girls responded with proof he has tried to message them. One whilst I was with him 2 weeks ago in bed. I sent him proof via my sister’s phone. He unblocked me and said I have taken it too far. I asked why he’s done this and he said ‘because I am a terrible person’. He often says this, and will say it sarcastically, or sometimes he would mean it. I replied with more evidence and he ignored.

I am so confused. I got really upset. Messaged maybe 20 times which I’m ashamed about. All to be ignored- I explained I needed closure. He called, said he was bored as I ‘wouldn’t get on top’.. and he felt I didn’t want to have sex anymore. Which is rubbish. He was really nasty, shouted, told me he doesn’t care about what I have to say. That I took it too far messaging the girls.. and that he ‘never ever ever ever’ wants to speak to me again.

I’ve tried messaging since and he is point blank ignoring me. Saying absolutely nothing. Reading my texts and ignoring me. I feel rubbish and feel like what about when he meets someone better. What about if they give him more to please him. I’m devastated and don’t know what to do

The thought of him with another girl kills me

MAN SICKED OF WIFE, SAYS RELATIONSHIP FERMENTED FROM SWEET TO SOUR & SMELLY

0

The older generation is really different from my generation.

Like my parents, married for 30 over years. I’m coming to married life year #9, and sometimes I wonder if we can make it to #10. I admit that my feelings for my wife are no longer the same.

I’m perfectly happy for her to go out without me, so that I can stay at home and “me time”. Or if I go out, I’m ok to go out alone, so that I can have my own thoughts or do whatever I want on my phone, listen to music etc, w/o someone now and then telling me this or asking me that.

You know women after a while they can be a bit…..irritating.

The feeling is 180degrees different from when we started dating all those years ago. It’s different from married life year#2 or #3. Nowaday sometimes when she talk to me I don’t even look up. Now I sort of understand why so many men cheat….not because of physical desires, but to experience the bf-gf feeling again.

The sweet feeling when you taste a bar of new chocolate for the 1st time and new endorphins are released in the brain. Because the old chocolate is no longer sweet, it is now fermented and tastes sour and smelly….For past 1 ½ month because everyday 24/7 face her except for sleep, and the 2 hyperactive boys at home, we quarrel more often. I get agitated with her more easily. In heat of moment I often feel like saying lets divorce, go our separate ways, you can have the kids, but somehow managed to control myself…

Don’t get me wrong. I don’t really intend to divorce. But how come my feelings change so much? I feel really guilty at myself. This is the woman I vowed to love and protect her for rest of my life, but now I feel myself getting sick of her. Is it because of the kids? Or after so many years I just take her for granted? I no longer love her? I was 訴苦-ing to my friend, and she sent me this. What I’m trying to say is the main topic here is not about me or my feelings, but about the passage below my friend sent. I spent less than 1 minute to read, but it opened up my heart. I do not suddenly love my wife again like bf-gf, but it make my understand what I’m feeling is a different kind of love. Its actually a very simple thing to think and understand, but everyday we just do our own things, see each other, try all sorts of ways to make marriage work, find experts and read articles about rekindling the spark in marriage. I realize now that is no such thing as rekindling spark in marriage. Spark gone is gone. We just need to look at things differently, and love a different kind of love. Maybe that’s how my parents still surviving 30+ years? Just sharing with everyone..

“Every relationship will get “boring” after you’ve been together for years. Love isn’t a feeling it’s a commitment to love every day, physically and emotionally. It’s difficult, it’s not always laughs, smiles and fun. People tend to quit when it stops being fun, and they go look for someone else, because “the spark is gone”. No, that’s not how it works. You want somebody to never give up on you, and love you unconditionally then do the same. Be the change. This isn’t Hollywood, this isn’t the movies. That s isn’t real. Love someone when you don’t want to. When they aren’t the easiest to deal with. When they’re hard to love. That’s the realist s there is 100%.”

GUY DITCHED WOMAN AFTER FINDING OUT SHE’S DIVORCED WITH A 4 Y.O KID

0

So, I caught up with a friend over dinner yesterday. He shared with me about matching with this girl on CMB.

Three dates in, she dropped a bombshell on him that she’s divorced with a 4-year old child. He was devastated, angry and felt frustrated. He then told me that he ghosted her after finding out about the divorce and the kid.

This got me thinking… if you were single (never married before), would you date/marry a single parent? Why or why not?

While I would be open to it, I know that my family will not accept it.

Netizens’ comments

  1. That’s thought provoking, what’s the expectation here?
Must I love both the lady and the child, or could I just tolerate the presence ? I mean this could be a large thing to ask for the guy during the dating phase (maybe that’s why your friend is angry)
I’ll think all single parents deserve their chances of happiness, but in reality, most people just try to avoid this. The kids didn’t choose this, but this is the reality of life.
  2. IMO 3 dates is pretty late to reveal heavy information like this
  3. Nope, I don’t even want children of my own, much less others’ children. But it depends on every individual and what they are looking for in a relationship. Even if I’m not expected to look after them, the kids will play a big role in the lifestyle (travel, day to day restrictions, living together etc).
  4. Your friend’s response (anger, ghosting) speaks volumes about his humanity and character. He’s not interviewing her for a job (and trust me, mums in general have it very difficult there as well). He’s merely in the process of getting to know someone.
If you ask me, that single mum dodged a major bullet. I feel for her, getting ignored with no explanation.
Even in working life, some women avoid mentioning they’re a mum because others will form a bias against them. Let alone putting this info on a dating profile – that’s just asking for immediate judgment. I’m not surprised she omitted this information. This woman already has her cards in life massively stacked against her.
Your friend could have taken this opportunity to learn more about her life story to understand her choices/ difficulties a little better, before gently explaining to her that he can’t move forward with the relationship because dating a divorcee with kids is not something he’s looking for. That’s perfectly fine and if the lady has integrity as well, she will respect his view.
This guy really failed to respond in a mature manner. If he’s not prepared to deal with disappointing dates like an adult, then he really should work on himself first.

WOMAN DIVORCED AFTER CHECKING HUSBAND’S CREDIT CARD STATEMENTS

0

I have been divorced for 4 years.

I no longer miss my past life and live a peaceful life today with my 2 wonderful girls. I’m enjoying my time home with them, not really homeschooling them because I have been out of touch with the MOE syllabus for so long, but just spending quality time with them, baking and teaching them how to sew whenever we have time.

This is an important year for them, one taking O levels and one taking A levels. But they are sensible and I don’t need to worry much.

I thought I had it all last time: a complete family with 2 beautiful girls and a husband who not only brought the dough back, but was a responsible, caring husband and father.

We were not well off, but he was a senior employee in an MNC and it was enough for us to afford a condo, car and helper. Essentially slightly above-average middle-class lifestyle. He was drawing a 5-digit income, and I stay at home as a full-time housewife.

Things started to go wrong.

We occasionally had the normal arguments, but we started to quarrel really bad, over small things and big things, like what he said were my bad habits and how he put up with for so long, how he was coming home less often for dinner. Everything I said seemed to trigger him. He became like, more irritable towards me. He’s always been quick-tempered, especially when stressed. But that night, he said “if we are so not happy, then file for divorce”, and stormed out of the house. I didn’t recall him saying divorce ever before. That was the first time. I was shocked and hid in the toilet to cry.

His behaviour did not improve over the next few weeks, unlike last time, and we stopped talking to each other. Very often, he did not come home for dinner, and took the car out on weekends. It hurt me, and it hurt my girls.

I did not know why, but my women’s instinct kicked in. I did not want to suspect him, but I just wanted to be sure. I thought I knew him well. We had a joint account but I didn’t check it for years; he was the one handling most of the household finances. I did not even know how many credit cards he had.

I went down to the bank with my IC.

Looking at the bank statement, most looked ok, except I noticed that every month his credit card payments were huge, like $3k+, $4k, even $6k. Did we spend so much on the family every month? I went home and searched his drawers. I knew he liked to keep paper receipts and bills for tracking purpose. His credit card bills were shocking, and my hands couldn’t stop shaking. Tiffany, cartier, miu miu, plus many many expensive restaurants around town. I never once received any of those things, and never went to those places with him. A Gucci purchase was even made during Vday. What did I get on Vday? Not even a stalk of flower.

And the thing that I almost fainted? A merchant on a credit card bill which I googled was some online dating website. I cannot remember the name now, but the front page was about looking for sugar babies or something. It did not take much googling to know what a sugar baby or sugar daddy was. The man I share a bed with is actually a sugar daddy to probably a 20-something “sweet young thing”?

I wanted to puke.

I did not believe anything about sugar daddy only looking for companions. A wife is supposed to be your lifelong companion. Cheating is cheating period. How can he spend our family savings on a dirty woman? $3k, $4k every month? We were supposed to be saving for our girls’ uni next time.

I clipped together all the bank statements, credit card bills, and highlighted all the transactions in red color. I stayed up to wait for him to come home that night. Throughout the afternoon, my emotions were all mixed up, from shock, to anger, to disgust, to sick, then to numb. But still I wanted so much for him to deny it. To prove to me that those credit card spending was for his company, that the sugar daddy website was for his friend or whatever. To hug me and say sorry his bad temper was all because of work stress. To say he still loved me.

In the end, divorce was the only way out. It was a nightmare. Without my mum, sisters, church and support group, I don’t know how I could go through that period. 16 years of marriage, gone just like that. I always thought marriage is like a big tree, growing stronger as it becomes older. But something can go wrong, a moment of weakness, ego, out of control, and years of marriage can collapse just like that. Its actually so fragile.

It was scary to build my life from scratch again. And after so many years out of workforce, I had to learn how to write resume, send job applications all over again. I’m grateful that my company is willing to give me a chance. My salary is just enough to get by, and he still gives maintenance every month. I’m also very thankful to have a place to call our own. Its not a condo, but having my girls by my side is the most important. He may be out of my life, but I will never forgive or forget.

PARENTS DEMAND SON PAYS FOR ELECTRIC BILLS & ASK FOR PERMISSION TO ON AIRCON

0

Ever since I started working they’ve been asking me to pay for electricity bills.

Previously they rarely on the aircon and will keep my remote. I will need to ask for permission to on the air con since young until about 22yo.

but ever since I started paying they on every night. And on months where I forgot to transfer the bills over they will start chasing me as if like I owe them.

I don’t mind paying and I feel good that I’m able to contribute and knowing they have a good temperature to sleep in every night warms my heart.

But they are so unappreciative n never thank me not even once. And my dad always says things like this is my house it’s my way or u get out.

Sometimes when we go out to eat and they pay the meal, if we go groceries shopping they will ask me to my own groceries and pay myself.

I’ve never been stingy on them I buy them things once in awhile but on my birthday they get me nothing not even a cake.

I don’t think saying this makes me an ungrateful person because “they gave me life” but something just doesn’t add up here and I’m so frustrated sometimes.

Please share with me your thoughts on this. I don’t think moving out is an option because 1) financially but also because if I do that I feel very unfilial…..

WOMAN DESTROYS FAMILY TO BE TOGETHER WITH A RICH GUY BUT KENA KARMA

0

Whenever I look at myself in the mirror, I say this silently. I thought at the beginning that I will feel guilty or super bad, about destroying someone’s family.

And yes, at the start I felt really guilty and ashamed, scared that karma will hit me one day, and I will die a horrible death. But now if you ask me, I no longer feel that way.

What’s there to be ashamed of? I did not force him together with me, he was the one doing the chasing, and being so much older, he should know better than me the consequences of his actions. And besides, I had actually had his flesh and blood, and when I aborted, it felt like a part of me had died, never to come back again. Of course I don’t go around telling people of our affair or posting on facebook. But I no longer feel like I will get knocked down by a car anytime or struck by lighting for being the other woman.

I graduated from NUS last year. Results were below average, and I only managed to secure a job with a local logistics firm, starting salary of only $2,800. Still, it was quite a miracle that I managed to get to uni and graduate, given my family situation. Dad is in Batam half of the time and gives zero money to the family, and my younger bro just got released from the boys’ home.

Since start of my uni days, I tried to work part time and teach tuition whenever possible, without affecting my studies too much. Still it was hardly enough for our family expenses and the loans my dad had thrown for us to pay back.

I met Y during my internship 2 years ago. He was a senior director of our client. He was 52 the first time I met him, and honestly, he only looks mid-40 max. And for an uncle type, he really looks quite buff and toned. He later told me that he will swim at home every morning before work, gym at least 3 times a week, drinks honey tea and organic soya milk instead of coffee, adopts a vegan diet on weekends and lean meat/low calorie diet on weekdays, and has quit alcohol more than 10 years ago. He even has a personal yoga instructor who comes to his house every Sunday. Life is not fair, obviously the rich have more resources and time to keep fit and stay youthful, while poor people like me slog just to put eatable food on the table.

Anyway, I did not know what he found me attractive. In terms of looks, I’m a 7 out of 10, even with makeup, according to my guy friends. I’m also not particularly noticeable or the centre of attention type, and certainly not your sweet GND type. He told me later that he liked my “attitude”, some kind of arrogance and determination, which he had observed during my presentation to his firm. Many fresh grads he came across acted like “peacocks and models”, thinking that they had made it just because of that stupid piece of paper, and spent almost all their free time taking pictures and selfies and comparing makeup brands. To him, I had character and felt different. Anyway, we exchanged namecards during that first meeting. I was actually quite in awe, an undergrad exchanging a namecard I had made myself with a senior director of a MNC.

Gave her $3,000 a month

He invited me to lunch the following week, saying that he wanted to see if there were any suitable positions in his company for me after graduation. I was so happy. However, not long after we sat down, he said that sorry, he had lied about the true intention of asking me out. What he really wanted was he was looking for something different in his life, he would like me to be his woman, and in return, I will receive a monthly allowance of $3000.

He said that he did not think I am the type who will be easily swayed by money, but other than money, he cannot think of a more direct way of proposing such a thing to me. he’s a straightforward guy and as we are both adults, there’s no need to beat about the bush over such things. He’s old enough to know that there’s no point trying to go after me and talking about love or connection when he’s old enough to be my dad, and there’s no need to waste both of our time. He likes me, and is offering me an attractive sum of money. He made it sound almost like a biz transaction. I was shocked by how direct and straightforward he was, and to be honest, while he’s indeed old enough to be my dad, his approach and attitude is so much more refreshing and mature, compared to the wishy washy ways of guys my age. He’s also upfront with me that he has a wife and 2 twin sons who are in NS. He will be very careful not to let his family find out, and he made it clear that any impact on his family is his choice, nothing to do with me.

Other than sending my bro to the boys’ home with my mother, this was the weirdest experience of my life. On the way back to school after that, my heart was beating like mad. And I was shocked that deep down, my reaction was not to reject him. I thought that will be my first reaction, but no. I just felt guilt and shame, like what if I really became his mistress? I will be destroying someone’s family, doesn’t matter that he no longer loves his wife or whatever reason. Will bad karma hit me? Will I appear in the news if someone found out? Will bad things happen to my family? Ultimately, I thought of my family’s financial situation, and the $3000 every month was just too good to turn down. And it will mean that I did not need to work part time anymore and can concentrate on my studies during my final year. And he seemed to know what he was doing. Of cos I knew what this mean also. But having lost it to my ex, it didn’t matter that much anymore. 4 days after that, I just texted him “ok”.

So began a very strange part of my life. It really felt strange. Having a “boyfriend” who’s old enough to be my dad, receiving an allowance that’s as good as a starting salary, and still in school. To be honest, he’s a real gentleman towards me. He knew that I had to concentrate on my studies during the final year, and we would only meet 1 – 2 times a week at the start. He would sometimes fetch me to and from school or bring me out to lunch. To avoid attention, he would fetch me in his Toyata instead of his 2 other cars (an Audi and Merz). Some weekends he will bring me golfing at Keppel Club. He bought a golf club for me and taught me how to play. Though I must admit I wasn’t that interested. He brought me to places which I hardly go myself. There was once when we even went to johor for horse riding. I could tell that he was being careful in the places we went to, and he choose places which are not your usual crowded places. During the first few “dates, we were like a couple on a blind date trying to know each other, and the mood was quite awkward. But over time, we got more comfy with each other, and he started sharing with me more of his private life, such as his collection of Chinese calligraphy paintings and how he quit drinking more than 10 years ago. He never talked about his family and I never asked. Gradually, I opened up and confided in him about my studies, my broken family. Slowly, he felt not so much like a “boyfriend”, but well, a caring dad who I never have. He never showered me with expensive gifts, not that I wanted anyway, and most of the time we just went to explore more “ulu” places in spore, or just cruised along in his car. I felt that he just wanted a companion to pass time with him.

The did not start until the 6th month. We will do it in Fullerton bay or ritz carlton. He will always book one of the highest rooms facing marina bay, and he will me in full view of the bay. He does not like MBS cos he thinks it’s too crowded. Sometimes we will do it in boutique hotels. Once we did it on the water bed in hotel re near chinatown area. He was surprisingly strong for a man his age. Or maybe I shouldn’t be surprised given his exercise routine. I felt that it wasn’t so bad after all, and it certainly helps that the $3000 arrives on the dot every month. Not directly in my bank account, but cold hard cash in an envelope that he will pass to me in the car. My mum’s cpf account was running low, so this money is just nice for our hdb loan. I was graduating soon and could finally earn my own money. I told myself I will only do this for another year or so, to use the extra money to build up a bit of savings. I don’t know when he wants to this, but I know that I will let him know when the time comes to call it quits.

Bad karma really hit me. I had just started on my first job last year, and we went on a weekend getaway to bintan. He had always used rubber, but that night, he asked if whether I had just ended my period, and if he could do me raw. I thought that since my period had just ended, the risk should be very low. I had tried it with my ex a few times and there was nothing. I agreed not to use rubber just for that night.

And then the following month, I missed my period.

I never thought this could happen to me. The week after my missed period, the test came back -ve. A few days later I repeated the test. +ve this time. I went and bought 3 more test kits. All +ve.

I texted him. It took him unusually long to reply. When it came, it was simply: Unless you are thinking otherwise, I will help you make an appt with a gynae. I know of a few very good ones. I will go with you.

He was right, there was no way I could keep the baby. And he was also right in that I have character. While deep down I felt like dying, I knew that I had to get this over and done with as quickly as possible. Not for me all the crying and self pity and blaming him for this and that.

He made an appointment for me on a Sat, and after the consultation, I watched a video on the risks of abortion etc, a so called pre-abortion counselling that everyone has to go through. They did some scan on my abdomen area, and told me I was about 6 weeks pregnant. I saw a speck on the screen that was supposed to be my pregnancy sack or something. I did feel guilt at that point, but there was no other way. We went back on tues for the actual abortion, and it was over in one morning. I didn’t really feel anything, just numb, a little sad, and also rather relieved that it is over. He said that it was ok if I did not want to meet for the time being, if I needed time by myself. He will just slot the money in my mailbox and text me to collect.

For the next few weeks, I fell into a deep funk. I thought I was going to be okay, but that image of the speck on the screen kept popping up in my head. It’s a life that was actually growing inside me, I thought. I started to feel lost, and really sad. A part of me had died, and it’s not coming back again. Will I be able to have children again? What if bad karma hits my future children next time? I can’t really rem the next few weeks, and I even skipped the post-abortion appointment with the gynae. Sometimes in office I will go to the furthest toilet in the building and cry to myself. It’s a good thing that my cubicle is located quite far from the other colleagues. Y kept to his word and kept his distance. For that few weeks he did not contact me except for a text that he will be slotting the money in my mailbox that night.

Eventually we did get back together, when I was feeling better. He brought me to Bali and promised no this time, just a getaway to do whatever I want. For the first time in my life, I tried snorkeling. The water was surprisingly clean and shallow, and there were so many different types and colours of fish down there. And yes, it did cheer me up.

We are still together now. it was only recently that we resume, now always with rubber. He read that there might be a infection risk if a woman has too soon after abortion. The 1 year deadline I set for myself has passed. Am I ready to call it quits? I’m not so sure anymore. I guess he’s probably mentally prepared for me to do so, but won’t say so. I don’t consider myself a homewrecker now. We are all adults and accept the risks of what we are doing. Yes he did cause me to have an abortion, but other than that, he has been a real gentleman to me. He’s like a part boyfriend, part dad who shares his life experiences with me. Whenever I needed help or someone to talk to, he has always been there. I have been so called the main pillar of my family since JC, been forced to grow up much faster than other girls my age, and for once, having someone I can rely on, for money and emotional support, it feels different. It feels good actually.

Am I ready to call it quits? I really don’t know anymore. Maybe a better way now is to see when he wants to call it quits.

WIFE WANTS TO DIVORCE BECAUSE HUSBAND HAS BEEN CALLING HER “WORTHLESS” FOR 10 YEARS

0

I’m going to end my 10 year relationship because my husband is more devoted to winning against me than caring about me.

The first three years were amazeballs. We did fun things together, we traveled, we had shared interests, we were loving to each other. In the last seven years, his true personality has come out.

He criticizes any thought I have. I don’t like some food? I’m wrong. I like a sappy TV show? I’m wrong. It doesn’t matter what it is, he will fight and fight over the dumbest things only for the satisfaction of winning.

Most of those wins are just me giving up because I can’t believe that where a dish should go in the dishwasher needs a 15 minute speech about how right he is about dish placement.

We’re in counseling now, and every appointment is his efforts to prove me wrong about something and never, ever about him trying to apply anything, something, anything that the counselor has tried to teach us.

Im exhausted and I give up. Ten years of telling me I am worthless? Ok, you win. I will remove my worthless self from your life. And then I will finally breathe again.

26 Y.O WOMAN ASKS IS IT WEIRD THAT HER BROTHER STILL SLEEPS IN HER ROOM WITH HER

My brother still sleeps in my room and my friends think it’s weird

I am the oldest of 7 children and live at home with my other siblings and parents. I am 26f and the youngest is 11m.

Since he was born, he’s always been my sweet pea, I was 14 when he was born for reference. He’s always been good natured and we are similar personality wise as he’s gotten older.

He’s always favored me over our other siblings (he maintains he loves us all the same and I know he does, we just spend the most time together).

Growing up I took him with me everywhere (mostly due to babysitting 24/7 as the oldest but I mostly didn’t mind since he was so sweet and a good child).

As he’s gotten older it’s turned more into hanging out and me guiding him through peer situations and helping with schoolwork.

However, he likes to come sleep in my room on occasion. During thunderstorms or sometimes we have “sleepovers” where we watch movies and eat snacks and he brings his stuffed animals in my room for the night.

I don’t find this weird, he’s my little brother, he still acts like a kid and he’s extremely small for his age. His concerns lie with video games and Legos.

Some of my friends give me grief over this though and say it’s weird that he sleeps in my room. I am curious as to what others have to say.

  • I don’t think it’s weird at all. He’s your kid brother and honestly it’s awesome you guys are so close and hang out like that, I’m sure you put a lot of good into his life
  • It sounds like you have a close relationship but not in a weird, strange or creepy way. Just ignore your friends.
  • This is such a beautiful relationship to have. I am 26f and my little brother was 12m and he was my whole world; I would give anything to have one last sleep over. He passed in April this year due to cancer. Cherish every moment you get to spend with your sweet pea because I know you mean the absolute world to him and he will love you forever for it

GIRL TAKES GRAB TO AND FROM WORK EVERY DAY, SPENDS ABOUT $1.2K EVERY MONTH

A netizen shared how she takes Grab to and from work every day, and she spends about $1.2k of her salary on her Grab rides alone.

Here is what she said

“I am working at a pub and my work starts at 7pm until about 3am. I have a habit of taking Grab to and from work because I want to avoid the peak hour crowds inside MRTs and trains.

I live somewhere in the West and my Grab rides to work cost about $30 plus, and by the time I end work, I’m usually drunk and it’s about 3am and there’s no more public transport and I have no choice but to take Grab home.

For context, I work at a pub and my job included serving, cashiering and drinking with the customers. And no I am not a hostess, my job scope just includes entertaining them and I get extra money if they buy me ladies drinks. I also don’t provide any “services”, it’s a legit and honest job.

And a lot of people are asking why I don’t have travel allowance from my workplace since I end work so late, and my employers tell me that they don’t give me travel allowance in exchange for 100% of the money from ladies drinks and a higher commission rate.

So basically i get more money, in a way.

Anyway, so taking Grab to and from work, each day I spend about $60++, and when I add up all the money that I spend on Grab every day, it totals to about $1.2k per month.

I am earning about $3k++ so almost half of it is spent on Grab rides.”

Editor’s note: You can save half the money by taking public transport to work, the MRT/buses isn’t as crowded as you think at 5-6pm+.
