WOMAN MARRIED A MAN TO GET CLOSE TO HIS BROTHER, CAUSE HE’S THE ONE SHE LIKES

0

So my husband (M25) and I (F24) have been married for 4 months now, my husband is extremely attractive, him n his brother (M22) look almost identical except that his brother has bigger eyes and lighter skin, taller n less fat.

Recently his brother n I have been hanging out together, his brother lives with his parents n their house is like a 20 min drive from ours, I don’t work or study (I’m starting uni next year) neither does his brother, so I’m often left at home alone n his brother is bored so he comes over n we bake, cook, watch movies, build Legos, we just hang out.

Then my husband will come home n we all will eat supper or something, then his brother will go, this has been happening for like 3 weeks or so. So yesterday after his brother left, my husband sat me down n started telling me that he doesn’t like me hanging out so often with his brother.

How he feels insecure and that every1 has always liked his brother cos he was “the golden-eyed boy” of the family and his brother has always been the 1 getting more attention cos of how he looks n that he feels left out cos I hang out more with his brother etc.

I fully understand this cos I’m also some1 with very low confidence and self-esteem issues, so I told him that there’s nothing to worry about n that he is 200000× more attractive than his brother n that I am in no way attracted to his brother n that I’ll make sure to spend more time with him n give the time he deserves n that I chose him n that I married him cos I love him n there’s no place in my heart to love any1 else besides him.

We also agreed that I won’t hang out with his brother as often.

Now, I truly love my husband, but the real reason I married him was not cos I love him but cos when I was 17 I slid into his brother’s dms n he blocked me, so I vowed that if I can’t get him I’ll get his older brother.

I can’t tell him the real reason as to why I married him cos that would absolutely shatter his confidence, I undoubtedly love him n there is no part of me that is attracted to his brother in any way.

What if he found out one day?

MAN APPLIED FOR A JOB BUT GOT REJECTED CAUSE HIS QUALIFICATIONS WERE TOO GOOD

0

The job I got rejected for was a “graduate” level (2-3 years university) job while I have 2 master’s degrees…

I’ve been unemployed since April (my former employer went bankrupt), and as I can’t find any job a job that is related to my experience, I’m really looking for any job that I could be able to do.

I only worked for 2 years in my previous job, but I can’t find entry-level jobs for master’s degree owners, just positions for directors, managers, etc…

That’s why I decided to aim for graduate-level jobs. For the position in question, it was mainly office work. I did that in my previous work so I knew I could do it and that’s why I applied for it.

As I said, I got rejected.

I thought it was because the domain was scientific while I worked in a tourist field, but not at all: they estimated that “they couldn’t see what my motivation was to take a job for which I am too qualified”, “they’re afraid I would leave for a better job”, “it wouldn’t be motivating to photocopy pages for me, seeing my cv!”

I got rejected because they estimated that my motivation couldn’t be high as I’m over-qualified for the job. As if it was better to do nothing and wait for the providential job that’ll be perfect for my cv to appear…

It’s horrible to think that the fact that I succeeded in getting my diplomas is a minus for getting a job, it’s insane! I just want to have a job!

And the most horrible part is that I have an interview tomorrow for a similar level job, it’s hard to prepare for it without thinking that they’ll just say “meh, you can’t really be interested in our offer, look at your marvellous cv” 🙁

So would you have advice for me if that “problem” comes up tomorrow? How can I prove them that it isn’t because I have master’s degree that I look down on their offer?

(I tried for the other position but they just wouldn’t understand that for me any job is better than unemployment)

Here are what netizens think:

  • Definitely, an example to be emulate. Afterall if she is slow, all still have to wait. Spend a little time helping her not only ensure her safety, it also save time for all motorists. For those that laugh off, they are either very childish or ill-mannered. There will be a time when all of us grow old, so be gracious and kind!
  • One has nothing to lose for being caring and kind. It will make this place a better one to live in!
  • Only problem is the very insensitive laughing noise made by some commuters. Such behaviour reflect their very lowdown manners. Such sad human beings who one day will be old.
  • Really proud of the driver for being so kind.
  • There’s still good hearted people here in SG… Kudos to the bus driver
  • Decisive and good hearted
  • Wahh power!! What an awesome video to start my day.
  • So sad that an old lady who have problems walking has to go marketing
  • Kudos to those who help her..and the motorist patiently wait for her..

5 Y.O GIRL IN TAIWAN SUFFERS FROM UNCURABLE GENETIC FISH-ODOUR SYNDROME

0

A 5-year-old girl in Taiwan has often smelled fishy since she was more than 1 year old.

No matter how she washes it, it can’t be washed off, and it has been proven ineffective after exhausting all kinds of fragrances.

Her classmates disliked her for not loving cleanliness. After a doctor’s examination, it was found that the little girl suffered from “fish odour syndrome” caused by a congenital genetic defect.

Genetic Problems

According to Niu Daoming, the chief physician of the Pediatric Department of Taipei Rong Zong, the little girl should be the first diagnosed case in Taiwan. “Fish-odour Syndrome” (Fish-odour Syndrome) is a recessive genetic disease.

Due to the defect of the first chromosome, the liver lacks a certain enzyme and cannot metabolize the trimethylamine in the body, and the trimethylamine accumulates in the body. It will produce a smell like rancid fish, which is constantly emitted from the sweat glands, breath, and urine.

Dr Niu pointed out that fish, egg yolks, offal and beans are the foods most likely to produce trimethylamine after eating. Since the cause is caused by congenital genes, Niu Daoming said that unless there is a breakthrough in gene therapy in the future, the problem of the little girl cannot be fundamentally solved.
