DRUNK WOMAN SHARES HOW SHE LOST HER “V” TO HER COLLEAGUE & KENA STD

0

Colleague took advatage of me while I was drunk and infected me with an incurable std, I am traumatized and he is getting away with it..

Background:

I am a 25-year-old female who grew up as an ugly outcast. Never kissed or been on a proper date, partly due to lack of interest from guys but also due to being afraid of infections also until the age of 21-22 I didn’t even have the desire to have anything romantic with anyone.

I don’t drink alcohol or go to parties, never been drunk. I felt like I was missing out because I didn’t experience partying and I was lonely because I haven’t had friends since secondary and JC.

From the age of 18 I was trying to improve my looks, went to the gym/for running almost every day etc. Guys started to show interest in me, some asked me out but they were usually much older than me.

This is my first proper job after graduating from university and we were having a big company event at 8th July. I always had a hard time making friends partly due to being akward+ugly so I spent a lot of money on trying to look good at this event. I lost 6 kg, got a tan, bought new clothes and makeup, got a lash lift and got blonde highlights etc.

The night:

So as I mentioned I tried to look my best and act friendly. I said ‘hi’ to a girl who was previously nice to me but she ignored me.

I thought maybe she just couldn’t hear me so later I asked her something, she looked at me then without saying anything she looked another direction and kept walking like I wasn’t there.

There was another girl who talked to me which was strange because she was the prettiest girl at the company and I knew she was annoyed by me, she was nice but I knew she hated the fact that she had to talk to me.

But this time she was very friendly. She kept saying that I should get more drinks and I was so happy because I felt like I was finally good enough for her, she complimented my hair etc.

She told me that there is usually an afterparty after the official company event and I should go. After the official event, I was left alone with a male colleague who also kept making me drink sometimes from his drink.

He suggested that we should go to bars just the 2 of us. I was very drunk at this point but so happy that finally, someone talked to me I haven’t had a proper conversation with someone in years. I told him that I feel like I will vomit but he kept saying that I should drink more. I started talking about my traumas like that my family didn’t love me and that they didn’t care when I didn’t even have money for food etc…

I was extremely confused at this point I don’t even remember what he was saying my things were falling out of my bag, I felt euphoric but extremely confused, I didn’t know where I was altought I knew the place because I lived close but my brain wasn’t working anymore I just did whatever he told me to do. At one point I remember him saying we should go to his place.

I don’t remember how we got to his apartment at all 0 memories, my next memory after he asked me to go to his place is standing at the door inside his apartment.

I barely have any memories after this.

I think he offered me a drink at his apartment too.

I suspect that he might have put something in the drink because after that my speech became very very slow and quiet (and later I ended up passing out.)

He mentioned to me earlier that he has some kind of meds maybe for anxiety.

He also knew that I was a virgin, he told me that it makes me a ‘hidden gem’ and that he doesn’t like girls who had a lot of partners.

He wanted to kiss me, I explicitly told him “I don’t have the desire to kiss”

He was upset and didn’t want to talk to me after this.

A few minutes (?) went by and he kissed me anyway. I didn’t resist physically and didn’t say anything.

It lasted only for 2 seconds.

Then I said explicitly “I don’t want to have S, I need more time”

He kept pushing and asking why I don’t want to have S.

I said “I don’t know” and started crying.

He hugged me and suggested that we should watch a movie.

A friend of his called him because he wanted to come over.

He also wanted me to take off my jeans because “it must be uncomfortable”.

I said it wasn’t and I didn’t take it off.

He said we should watch the movie from his bed and that I should take off my jeans on his bed, so I took it off.

At this point, I felt even worse and I was extremely confused my brain didn’t work at all.

I am not even sure about the timeline after this point.

I know that I puked 2 times. When I vomited the second time everything was black around me I barely understand what was happening. His friend arrived.

We were sitting at his bed and were watching something I don’t know what because my brain couldn’t process what I was looking at. It could have been a black screen I wouldn’t know.

He said that we should have S. I couldn’t talk or move at this point my brain didn’t work at all. I saw his friend coming towards us he wanted to join us. I started crying and looked his friend in the eyes.

I think I was very frightened but I didn’t have the capacity to even process what was happening and how I felt. When I looked at his friend and he saw that I was crying he slowly turned back and went back downstairs.

Then he said, “Don’t I at least get a kiss?”. I didn’t resist, he kissed me again.

Then I passed out for about 6 hours.

I have no idea what happened in those 6 hours.

I woke up and went to the bathroom immediately then tried to leave but he made me stay for 4 more hours. He kept trying to grab my thighs and butt I kept trying to move away from him. Then I finally left at noon.

I was still very confused and acted very strange like I was still drunk or under the influence of some kind of drug. I wanted to talk to everyone and almost got hit by a car.

When I got home it started to occur to me that I might have been assaulted I still couldn’t fully process what just happened.

Only thing I noticed was that I had a burning sensation at the opening of the vagina and it looked a bit swollen and different from how it usually looks (I usually can’t see the vagina opening but now I could clearly see it.)

But I didn’t have any pain or visible injury.

After waking up at his place I remember having some thoughts but not towards him but about other people which is very unusual because I rarely have any dirty thought maybe due to hormonal problems, I don’t even have a period.

When I asked what happened he didn’t want to talk about it.

The popular girl who invited me to the after-party asked 2 days after the event if I was ok, but I feel like I can’t trust her anymore…I don’t know if I should tell hr what happened I don’t have proof.

If I tell anyone he might not talk to me and I will never know what happened because he and probably his friend are the only people who know…

I got an std test and it turned out that he infected me with hsv1 (herpes virus) which is incurable and the igg antibodies were basically non-existent only IgM was high so it is a new infection.

The whole incident was extremely traumatizing to me I couldn’t sleep for 2 weeks and gained 7 kg in the last 3-4 weeks…I contacted organisations that help assault women they recommended me a lawyer.

I can’t get over not knowing what happened to me and can’t get over the fact that I am infected with an incurable std, I don’t know what to do.I already wasted so much time instead of enjoying the summer and paid so much money for tests, medication (pep) etc, got fat, and couldn’t work.

but I just can’t move on without knowing what happened and I can’t accept getting herpes from a kiss I didn’t even want or enjoy that lasted like 2 seconds…

11 Y.O BOY IN CHINA WORKS 16 HOURS A DAY TO HELP FAMILY DURING SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

0

Many parents today, most of them hope that their children will become successful and have great results in their education. As long as they feel that any expenditure will result in investing in their children’s learning, they will not hesitate to spend more money.

However, when educating children to become academically talented and how to make them become a caring person who understands the hardships of life is another matter.

Many times we will see some news that some children have become veritable “spoiled” under bad parenting. But a boy in China is completely the opposite.

11-year-old selling food

On July 31, a netizen in Zaozhuang, Shandong took a picture of an 11-year-old boy busy greeting customers in front of a food stall. Judging from the age of the little boy, he should have been in school, but he insisted that it is his own shop and was busy with work.

It turned out that the 11-year-old boy was helping his parents to share some work during the summer vacation. He was busy in front of the stall by himself and greets the guests, while his parents were busy making food in the back kitchen. Every day from seven or eight in the morning, until eleven or twelve in the evening, all this busyness is the little boy’s summer vacation life.

The netizens who took the video saw from the scene that there were three things sold at the food stall under the watch of the little boy: one was hand cakes, the other was sauce-flavoured cakes, and the other was porridge.

These three snacks support the life of the little boy’s family.

Words of an adult

The little boy told the netizen who filmed the video: “I watch the stall outside alone, and my father makes it in the house. In the morning, I usually work from seven or eight to eleven or twelve in the evening.” The netizen asked: “Do you want to go out to play? , go out for a walk?” The little boy replied: “I must think so, but there is no way. There is an old saying that there is no sweetness without bitterness.”

When there were no customers, the little boy ran to the back kitchen, picked up a bundle of green onions and was busy sorting them. Netizens were shocked that at such a young age he was looking for a job and was busy helping the family share the responsibilities.

Teaching children to bear hardships and being able to withstand hard work from an early age is also one of the greatest treasures in life. Only when they know how to bear hardships and stand hard work, such children will not be able to bear the pressure when they encounter setbacks and blows.

WOMAN FOUGHT WITH IN-LAWS AFTER THEY FORCED WEIRD MARRIAGE “TRADITION” ON HER

0

I, (F26) recently got married to my husband (M29). I and my younger sister (F15) are pretty close as my mom died when we were younger, and I acted as her mom while my dad went to work to provide for us.

Because of this, I chose my sister as my Maid of Honor. My husband was pretty on board with this as well. He and my sister are very close, he loves her dearly like she’s his daughter.

On the other hand, my husband’s family opposed my decision. I announced my choice during a family dinner with both families. When I did so, my MIL excused herself and FIL followed.

I was pretty confused because everyone gave me looks. They came back and told me that it was a family tradition to have the youngest daughter of the husband’s family as the Maid of Honor.

I was surprised because I’d never heard of a tradition like that. I kind of awkwardly chuckled and said “What kind of bullshit tradition is that? Sorry but I’m not doing that.”

The rest of the night was very awkward. I never brought up the situation again until the day before the wedding. I was finishing up planning for the wedding when my SIL (F20) came to the venue asking for her dress.

I was confused and asked “What dress?” She chuckled and said “Doesn’t the Maid of Honor have a special dress?” At that point I was fuming because I knew they had planned this without talking to me about it even when I told them AND my SIL that I wasn’t following the tradition.

I angrily told her “You’re not the f*cking Maid of Honor.” She stood shocked but eventually left.

I felt bad for the way I told her off but I already announced that my sister was my choice. I wouldn’t let them take control of MY wedding. The wedding did eventually happen with my sister as my Maid of Honor and SIL as one of the Bridesmaids.

It was so fun and honestly the best day of my life. But I could feel the passive aggressiveness of my husband’s family. Unfortunately, after the wedding, I got many angry texts from them and I saw hundreds of posts on FB saying how terrible I was for my decision.

I did feel terrible about the way I spoke to SIL so I apologized over text. She cursed me out and blocked me. I feel so terrible about the entire situation but I’m glad I stood my ground.

Have I done wrong? It’s my wedding and it should be up to me and my husband to be to decide.

One FM 91.3 radio DJ Shaun Tupaz Anthonio, was convicted of drink driving on 4 August and fined $4,000, as well as being banned from holding all classes of driving licenses for 30 months.

He had pleaded guilt to a charge of drink driving for his offence that occurred on 23 January earlier this year.

The court heard on Thursday that Tupaz had lost control of his motorcycle on that day at about 11pm, skidding on the road along Ophir Road.

A traffic police officer was activated to the accident site and noticed that when he was questioning Tupaz, he reeked of alcohol.

The legal limit for driving is 80mg per 100ml, with Tupaz exceeding it by more than 60mg.

Police investigations later revealed that Tupaz had been at a bar on that day at about 1.15am, and drank two pints of lager beer before he stopped at about 2.30pm.

He then stayed at the bar until about 10,45pm, before leaving, and the aforementioned drink-driving incident then happened.

WOMAN HOLDING 7 ROLES IN COMPANY BUT UNDERPAID, SOMETIMES HAVE TO O.T UNTIL 12AM

0

SME’s “no politics policy” was a farce

I was recently employed and working in an SME.

During my interview- the CEO of the company very proudly told me that the company has a very strict policy on work place politics. If anyone were to be involved in any form of politics they will be immediately terminated. I was so naive to believe him. (I later found out that MOST SME would say the same thing)

During my 1st week of work, i have seen way too many politics happening right in front of me without the CEO knowledge. Everyone just gossips about every smallest issue they see/hear. Colleagues split into different team to talk about one another. Rumors flying everywhere. Sensitive and “small & evil hearted” employees talking behind each other’s back all the time.

Everyone behaves like they are one big family when the CEO is around and start their gossips and nasty behavior the second he leaves the office. (Btw they would sub consciously remind each other to be kind- to not be nasty- etc) *erm? Hypocrite?

I don’t like my current job scope. We are super short handed and most employee had to work till 12mid night at least 2 or 3 days a week. (NO O.T allowance btw)

Imagine that amount of work load + people around you gossips 24/7 + SME & (super underpaid)

As a new staff, i’m trying to blend in at the same time you don’t know what/when they would start gossiping and asking you personal questions and then attack you behind your back at their convenience. (Their eyes are on their laptop doing work but their mouths just starts babbling about others automatically)

It’s really taxing on me. I feel like i am holding 7 different titles in the company and super underpaid.

Anyone willing to share how you handle high workload? Boss that always says “your job is very easy, it’s simple. and if you have to do work after office hours, it would just show how incompetent you are at your job” (most staff had to OT till 12mn and then schedule their emails to be sent the next morning) *cause staffs who had to overtime are not competent as per the CEO.

How do you avoid politics at work when it’s happening every single day around you?

Should i just start joining in and wait for my termination letter? ???? would it affect my next job? (My work contract has 2 years bond)

I still want to try harder and pick up as much skills as possible (since i had to do so many adhoc work. I do travel planner, driver, HR, admin, operations support, sales support, payroll, accounting, finance, customer service support, security, I.T support, P.A to 5 managers. butler services, translator, courier service, report analysis, facilities and maintenance assistant, tax filing and more.

I’m exhausted. “I’m only 2 months old” in the company and it felt like 2 years ???? – just because i do so many things and the newest- people always come to me for the smallest thing that can be solved *if they are not lazy.

Halp!

Genuine advise pleaseee ????????

I’m really lost, tired and confused.

Editor’s note: Office politics is part and parcel of the workforce, you just have to deal with it.

31 Y.O & 16 Y.O CHARGED IN COURT FOR DISCLOSING SINGPASS, BANK ACCOUNT DETAILS

0

A 31-year-old woman and a 16-year-old youth will be charged in court on 5 August 2022 for their suspected involvement in knowingly disclosing their SingPass login/bank account details to other persons in two separate cases.

The bank accounts were purportedly used to launder proceeds of crime by scam syndicates.

In January 2022, the woman responded to a Telegram message which offered her cash in exchange for her SingPass details.

After she allegedly handed over her SingPass login details, a syndicate was able to register three bank accounts with Citibank, UOB and OCBC in her name.

The bank accounts were subsequently used to launder proceeds of crime amounting to more than $100,000.

In March 2022, the youth had allegedly relinquished his UOB internet-banking login credentials to a 17-year-old youth who then sold it to a scam syndicate. The UOB bank account was later used to launder proceeds of crime amounting to more than $30,000. Investigations against the 17-year-old youth are ongoing.

For disclosing her SingPass login details, the woman will be charged in court under Section 8(2)(a) of the Computer Misuse Act 1993. If convicted, she will be liable to an imprisonment term not exceeding three years and a fine not exceeding $10,000,or both, for first-time offenders.

For allegedly relinquishing his bank account, the youth will be charged under Section 3(1) of the Computer Misuse Act 1993. If convicted, he will be liable to an imprisonment term not exceeding two years, a fine up not exceeding $5,000, or both, for first-time offenders.

The Police take a serious view of these offences. The Police will not hesitate to take action against individuals who may be involved in scams, and deal with perpetrators in accordance with the law. To avoid being an accomplice to crime, members of the public should always reject seemingly attractive money-making opportunities promising fast and easy pay-outs for the use of their SingPass accounts, bank accounts or allow their personal accounts to be used to receive and transfer money for others. Remember that you will be held accountable if these are linked to crimes.

For more information on scams, members of the public can visit www.scamalert.sg or call the Anti-Scam Hotline at 1800-722-6688. Anyone with information on such scams may call the Police Hotline at 1800-255-0000 or submit information online at www.police.gov.sg/iwitness.

All information will be kept strictly confidential.
