BF REFUSES TO PICK GF UP FOR DINNER DATE

0

A little context before the story:

  1. Girlfriend and I live together
  2. I work a normal 9-5, she works a graveyard shift.

So, we made plans to try and go out to dinner Tuesday evening as it has been a long time since we last had a proper date.

Tuesday comes and my girlfriend remembers she has to take her car in for annual inspection.

Here comes the issue:

Girlfriend still relies on myself and her family for important things like for example the vehicle inspection, going to the doctor etc

She then proceeds to tell me she has to drive to her parents so they can drop her car off at the inspection site and since her parents will be driving the car to the inspection for her, she will be stuck there all day and so she wants me to go and pick her up for dinner.

My problem with this is that the drive to her parent’s place is 30 minutes. Coming back home to go out to dinner will be another 30, followed by the ride back to her parent’s to pick up her car after the inspection is done will be another 30.

Therefore, I tell her she should get the inspection done herself and that I’m not going to pick her up.

And here goes the “Why can’t you just pick me up?” followed by a “K” reply when I explained my point to her.

Am I being unreasonable here or is she the one that is being unreasonable and wasting my time?

GIRL FEELS NOTHING WHEN PIAK-ING WITH BF, SAYS IT LIKE “BEING AT THE DENTIST”

0

I’ve never “come” when being intimate with my bf, I don’t like intercourse because of it. It’s causing stress in relationship.

Penetrative intercourse feels like being at the dentist: I just wait for it to be over and hope it doesn’t hurts too much.

Because it does hurt sometimes, but most of the time I just feel “nothing”. I think I felt some pleasure a few times, but I never “came” that way, and usually I just want it to be over.

I enjoy foreplay and oral, I need to point this out. I like when these happen. But not “the whole package”.

It’s a huge turn off for me when penetration is about to happen. My boyfriend is unhappy, he admitted it.

The same thing happened with my exes so it’s not a particular guy issue. My bf wants to try different positions, and to get intimate more often.

But I don’t want that. I’m usually not in the mood, and if I am I really don’t want penetration to be part of it.

I wish it were different for me, but I don’t know how to make it happen. I do feel like I’m missing out on something.

I’ve been to therapy and it did not help (5 months, give or take). My hormones are okay and apparently physically I’m also okay.

Longer foreplay doesn’t help. Lube use doesn’t matter, sometimes it just hurts anyway, and I still feel nothing good from it. I don’t know what to do…

LADY SAYS GUYS SHOULD SHUT UP & NOT COMMENT ON THEIR LOOKS

0

I work for a really chill office and there is usually ‘no government’ in the office. My two male colleagues and I all get along, but of course, as I’m sure you’d guess, they are sometimes out of line with what’s said and some of their behaviour.

One thing that really annoys me is the constant need for them to comment on what I’m wearing or not wearing when they could just shut up instead.

For example on last Friday, I liked how the bottom half of my hair looked as it wasn’t digging the greasiness of my roots. I don’t usually take advantage of the no managers/boss thing here to do and wear what I want but today I decided to wear a baseball cap to work.

That started the floodgate of comments I have heard non stop for the whole day on how I should be wearing hats more often, how good it looks, how much they like women in hats which I quote “I love women in ball caps, you should wear that more often”, and also the constant asking of why haven’t I worn one before, etc.

Why on earth can us women not exist without hearing a a man’s opinion about the slightest change or anything involving our appearance?

It comes across as if they think I get up every morning and ask myself what they want me to look like, how they want me to act so I can please them or make them happy with my appearance.

They make it seem like we do everything for them. I’m wearing a hat because my roots are greasy, I don’t care if you like women in hats, I don’t care if you like hats.

Why can’t you keep your thoughts about my appearance to yourself?

MAN STANDS CREEPILY STILL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD @ RIVER VALLEY

A video emerged online showing a driver driving along River Valley when he chanced upon a man wearing a white dress and standing still in the middle of the road.

The video was shared online on 26 July, on the SG Road Vigilante Facebook page, and the incident happened on 13 July at about 11.19pm.

The camcar driver was driving along Martin Road in River Valley when he came across a white figure standing in the middle of the road, keeping absolutely still.

The man was seen wearing a white dress that appears to be a patient/nurse’s gown.

The man stood still even as the car drove past, as the driver then slowed down as he approached the man, appearing to be checking on him.

Netizens have since surmised that the man could be mentally ill and require assistance, as others deduced whether it was a ghostly figure or even a cardboard cutout.

GUY TREATS TINDER DATE LIKE HIS RELATIONSHIP THERAPIST

0

I’ve been divorced for three years and am actively dating. I started talking to a new guy on Tinder this week who I had a lot in common with and who seemed really promising. He’s also divorced, parenting two small kids (like me), into music, etc.

We talked on the phone for the first time last night and the conversation quickly evolved into a therapy session where he spent an hour venting at me about his ex, how badly she treated him during their relationship, his legal battles to get custody of his kids, etc.

I know how my ex talks about me out in the world, so while any / all of the stuff this guy is saying could be true, it raised my walls like crazy.

On top of that, the amount of information that he threw to me was way more than I was equipped to deal with for what I thought was going to be a casual late night phone call.

I wanted to try changing the topic but felt obligated to provide a listening ear.

He kept on apologising for making me hear his rants but proceeded to carry on after apologising.

I need to start to MIA and ghost him right?

Even if everything this guy says is true, it’s clear he’s not in any place to be dating yet, and furthermore, I’m in the market to date around and not be someone’s f-ing therapist.

GIRL FEELS PAISEH AT HOW HER BF DRESSES, WEAR THE SAME CLOTHES FOR 2 DAYS

0

I hate the way my boyfriend dresses

I want to let go of my stupidly high standards because he is truly a wonderful man and I love him, but goodness gracious I just want to dress him myself.

He is currently wearing a pair of vans and one ankle sock with one tube sock lol. In all honesty it is funny as hell in an endearing way now that I think about it.

The other day we went to the movies together and decided to call it a date. Naturally, I do my make up and try to dress a little cuter than I have been lately since we don’t get out of the house all that often.

We leave and he is still wearing the same outfit he’s been wearing for two days. Sweat pants scrunched up to his knees, an old shirt that didn’t match at all and a baseball cap that I can tell is too small for his head (I’m actually dying laughing as I type this because why do I care? He can dress how he wants lmao)

He just looked so crusty. I honestly felt a little embarrassed by it. I don’t think it’s unusual for a woman to want to dress nice for her man so why can’t a man dress nice for his woman? Am I just old fashioned?

Whatever. Like I said I love him and I know I’ll get over it but I had to get this one off of my chest.

NETIZEN WANTS HUSBANDS TO STOP EXPECTING PIAKPIAK FOR DOING HOUSEWORK

0

Couples who have been married for a long time will tend to have moments where they are unhappy with their other half over all sorts of reasons.

Often, this will always lead to arguments.

Recently, a post that seems to be a rant by a particular netizen was seen online and judging from the content of the rant, the netizen seems to have had enough with men who always kpkb about their wife.

Here is how the rant looks like:

‘Husbands… They’re always so quick to make the disclaimer that they do their fair share of the housework, and I’m just so…doubtful.

They always talk about how much dishes and laundry they do. Come on, it is just dishes and laundry. Have you ever scrubbed a shower or a toilet? Taken out the toilet trash? Vacuumed a sofa? Cleared the pet’s poop?

Dishes and laundry do not make the house clean so shut the F- up.

They also refuse to accept the fact that maybe their wife takes on too much of the load because they don’t take on enough.

They always expect to be massaged or get their ‘well deserved’ booty call just for doing part of the housework.

GROUP OF 16 ATE @ WOODLANDS RESTAURANT, LEFT WITHOUT PAYING $1.2K BILL

A group of 16 people had a feast at a restaurant in Woodlands on Thursday evening, chalking up a bill of about $1,188.

They then left without paying the bill.

The restaurant, Rasa Istimewa Waterfront Restaurant, said that they haven’t reported the matter to the police, hoping not to complicate the situation, but will do so if the freeloaders continue to avoid payment.

According to Shin Min Daily News, the incident happened on 21 July, and no one from the group of 16 have returned to make payment.

The restaurant spoke to SMDN saying that they are giving the group of diners the benefit of the doubt, that they might have forgotten to make payment, or that they thought one of their friends was going to make payment but no one did.

The group of 16 had ordered two set meals of about $238 each, along with 60 satays, and assorted beverages.

They then left the restaurant after finishing their meal and the staff didn’t stop them, because they thought they had already paid the bill.

They only realised that the bill for the table was not settled when the restaurant was less busy after 9pm, and they didn’t have their contact details as the group were walk in customers.

It has since been 5 days since the incident and no one has stepped forward to make payment.

MAN REJECTED A WOMAN BECAUSE OF HER WEIGHT

0

I(28F) had a best friend(30M) for 7 years. We would talk every day and even talk for 10+ hours when one of us would take a solo trip oversea.

Last weekend his 30th birthday came up and we celebrated with family. Though out our friendship people would make comments about how we should date. But we never thought it was a good idea so we laugh it off. After his birthday dinner, their sister made a comment about how I would be so great for him and how we should date.

The next day we went on a long walk and talked about his sister’s comment. He told me that I was completely perfect for him in every way, except for my weight. I was saddened, suddenly I was too fat and that was the only reason he didn’t want to be with me.

Fast forward to later that day, his sister and sister-in-law found me crying. I did not really want to say anything at first but I broke down and told them what their sibling had said. They were angry. Obviously, when I was not around they gave him a huge scolding for saying he is a horrible person for saying that to me.

He blamed me for “trying to turn their family against him” and blamed me for being a terrible person. We tried to fix the friendship but we have not spoken in a year.

I know it has been a while since this happened, am I being bad for telling the truth to his sister and sister-in-law.

21 Y.O FORBIDDEN FROM GOING OUT DURING 7TH MONTH, MUM SCARED HE SEE GHOST

0

Is it normal to not go out during ghost month?

Hi! I’m 21 but my mum still forbids me from gg out at night during ghost month and I wanted to know if anybody else has parents who does the same and if so, how do you reason with them?

Like normally I don’t really mind listening but I really don’t think I should be expected to put all my plans with friends on hold just because my mother believes in the “ghost month means night time will see ghost” thing

Thanks!

Netizens’ comments

  1. i dont go out during ghost month either but that’s because i homebody
  2. Tell her humans are worse than ghosts.
  3. What happens when you start working? Don’t go to work?
  4. As long as you follow the rules, you should be ok.
I am not from that religion, but my religion has taught that to just respect & say sorry if you kick/step any offering.
Is there a reason you need to go out at night assuming it not work related?
  5. Won’t the ghosts be traveling around, and be visiting houses? Even if you stay at home, you won’t be able to avoid the ghosts – but you can pretend not to know or see anything. When I become a ghost I will visit random houses and give them a little scare by moving the door randomly just for laughs
