A white cat believed to have been a stray, had purportedly fallen into a drain/river canal at Sungei Tampines and drowned.
A netizen shared that there was another black cat who also died earlier that day in the longkang, and that both cats probably drowned due to struggling in the water for too long.
The cats’ bodies were bloated when found.
A monitor lizard could be seen circling the cat’s corpse, waiting for the body to decompose before it devours the dead cat as its next meal.

About a dozen otters “broke” into a condominium (The Crest) near Alexandra Road.
They were seen eating almost all the fishes in the condo’s pond, before dipping into the condo’s swimming pool for a swim.
Upset residents said that it was very depressing because they feed the fishes almost every weekend, and now they’re all dead.
The residents also lamented having to spend money to clean the pond and pools.
They shared that some children were also frightened by the sight of the fishes being eaten and started crying, with some fishes being seen with just an eye, and some without.
