A netizen spotted an owl in Holland Village.
It is believed that it is a Spotted Wood Owl, The wood owl grows to a length of about 44 to 48 cm (17 to 19 in) with a wing length of 30 to 36 cm (12 to 14 in).
This beauty has a distinctive ‘earless’ head and bold black-barred buffy underparts. It is a medium-sized owl with orange facial disc, dark eyes and no ear tufts.

A video emerged online showing a couple getting handsy at what appears to be a staircase landing.
They were seen hugging each other and posing for photos.
Upon closer inspection, you can see that the guy was also holding onto and squeezing his gf’s nehnehpok.

A video emerged online showing a cyclist crashing headfirst onto the road.
He was cycling along the side of the road when the traffic light turned green for pedestrians to cross.
Another cyclist was crossing the road on her bike, catching the stricken cyclist by surprised.
He then braked hard and his bicycle flipped, resulting in his bicycle flipping almost 360 degrees.
He then landed headfirst onto the concrete road.
It is unclear where the incident happened.

A video emerged online showing a foreign worker who has seemingly had enough of the materialistic and gold digging ways of the Filipino and Indonesian women that he’s met thus far.
He was seen digging into a packet of Jollibee spaghetti, announcing:
“Now I spend money for myself, I don’t want to spend money for Indonesia or Filipino girls.
I now eat, eat, eat, many eating! I now take care of my health, I don’t want to spend money on Indonesia or Philippines girls! Understand?”

A netizen spotted the man waiting in the MRT station with full breathing gear on, probably because he is scared to breathe in air which might have Covid-19 particles.
Some netizens also said that they thought the man was going to “space”.

A funny video emerged online showing an Ah Ma trying to pronounce the word “Luncheon Meat”.
In the video, a man could be seen holding a plate of luncheon meat and asking Ah Ma in Hokkien, “what is this?”
Ah Ma then replied with the hokkien term of Luncheon Meat, calling it “ngor cham bar”.
They then asked her for the English name, to which she tried her best to say “luncheon meat” but managed “lanjiao mee” instead.

A fire broke out at around 9pm on 14 September at Block 185C Rivervale Crescent.
It was believed that the fire was caused by a PMD battery that was being charged in the bedroom.
The fire was burning fiercely on the 3rd floor unit as SCDF firefighting put on breathing equipment and entered the burning home that was filled with smoke.
The fire was concentrated in the bedroom and subsequently put out using one water jet, as the rest of the home suffered heat and soot damage.
The three residents of the home had evacuated themselves before the arrival of the SCDF and 2 were conveyed to SGH, with another conveyed to KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
10 residents from the nearby units were also evacuated as a precaution.

A video emerged online showing a PAB rider putting the lives of others on the road at risk with his recklessness.
He was seen riding without a helmet and suddenly dashing out onto the road with oncoming traffic, without looking.
The incident happened along Sengkang East Road on 13 September at around 2.15pm.

According to the Police, a 30-year-old was arrested yesterday after he was caught using a forged doctor’s note to prove that he is eligible for dine-in.
The incident happened along Orchard Road on 1 September 2021.
The man visited a restaurant and tried to convince the staff with a fake doctor’s note. The staff who received the man noticed something wrong with the man’s document and rejected him from entry.
Although the man left quietly, the staff decided to report the incident to the Police. The Police took action right away and they were able to establish the identity of the man and placed him under arrest.
He will be charged today (September 15) in court for forgery.
Whoever commits forgery shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 4 years, or with a fine, or with both.
The man might be the first person in Singapore for forging a COVID-19 related document.
I met a girl on a dating app recently and went out on a few dates. I felt like we were able to connect very well and was able to talk for 3-4hrs each time.
But there’s one thing about her, she takes super long to reply to my texts. There was one time that she replied to my text after 3 days, and that was after I double texted her. Recently, she didn’t reply to my text for a week (and counting), only this time, I decided to just stop contacting her since it’s obvious that she is not interested.
I did ask her about her slow replies at the end of one of the dates and she said that its because she is busy with work and also family time on weekends which I understood at that time but to not reply for more than 1 week is too much. What’s weird about this is I felt that we were really able to click when we met irl but I think any self-respecting person wouldn’t have tried to continue the conversation, especially after the second time.
I’m confused as to what I did wrong, she probably just met another guy on the app that she prefers I guess.
Not really asking for advice but if there’s anything else that I could have done please let me know.
