ICA DETECTS SMUGGLE OF HERMIT CRABS AT CHANGI AIRFREIGHT CENTRE
According to the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA), On 3 Sep 2021, ICA officers at Changi Airfreight Centre, Air Cargo Command foiled an attempt to smuggle in five live hermit crabs in a parcel.
The crabs were uncovered when officers spotted anomalies in the scanned images of a parcel declared as ‘toys’. When they opened the parcel, they found the crabs hidden inside two containers. The case was later referred to the National Parks Board (NParks) for further investigation.
As guardians of Singapore’s borders, ICA is Singapore’s first and last line of defence. ICA will continue to stay vigilant and thwart any attempts to smuggle in prohibited or security items into Singapore.

MAN INFORMS RESTAURANT OF EGG ALLERGY BUT THEY STILL SERVE HIM EGGS
Update: Wow, this group responds very fast! I have called the restaurant to resolve the issue. But I thought I would leave this here. For people who have never encountered this situation, people with allergies have to put twice the effort for a meal. For those with allergies, you are not alone…I have attempted to reach out to Yassin Kampung Admiralty since Sunday evening via website, Facebook DM, email and even left a comment on their recent FB post – in hopes to nudge them to attend to my messages. It has been 4 days since the incident, and it is leaving a horribly sour taste in my mouth. I had hoped we could resolve this amicably but it seems they rather ignore me completely.
On 5 Sep 2021, I noticed a new order machine was installed at the restaurant entrance for takeaways. Previously, I would order with the cashier who could enter remarks in the orders. Even for dine-in, their iPads could capture remarks so that I could indicate my allergies in the food orders. When attempting to place my takeaway order, I told the server at the cashier it couldn’t customize my order. Server said he would relay my customized order to kitchen, so just proceed to make order and payment at the machine. I ordered Crispy Noodle & Thai Fried Rice (No Egg No Chicken). 15 mins later, my Thai Fried Rice came out with egg when I checked on the spot. I told server and he took my container and said he would ask kitchen to make a fresh order for me. Another 15mins later, he passed me another container. When I checked, I could still see specks of egg, but I couldn’t make it out unless I dug through the rice. Server said he CONFIRMED there was no egg this time. He sounded a bit agitated with me, and hearing his confirmation, I left. I went home and dug through the container – and to my horror, it did have egg inside! I COULDN’T consume it at all because I’m ALLERGIC to POULTRY!
I am horribly disappointed because I don’t live nearby to the restaurant to easily go back to it. It is a restaurant and not a hawker, therefore there must be some standards to justify their charges. I waited half an hour for my order – but both times they came out wrong. I frequently bought food from this restaurant for my family, and after travelling the long distance, there was nothing in the bag that I could eat!
I felt very little after the incident and wanted to cry, because after a long day, it felt I didn’t deserve to have dinner simply because I was allergic to eggs. I wanted the restaurant to at least respond to me that they would update their order system. Completely ignoring me as though they aren’t savvy enough to attend to emails and FB messages – but able to create FB content and having technology in the restaurant – completely shows that 1 customer means nothing to them.

AIR-CON COMPANY GOT TIME DELETES BAD REVIEWS NO TIME REPLY CUSTOMERS
Frost air cleaning services – informed them of air-con not cold on 2 august. Problem is not resolved up to this date. They delete my negative posts of them in their Facebook faster than they revert me.
Their technicians has identified the problem of gas leak and to replace piping. But the next time they came down only to take away Meter and took another 2 weeks just to fuse gap of defective pipe. Technician said office asked him to fuse gap only. But my air con is still not working.

A 31-year-old man has been detained for his alleged participation in a criminal intimidation case.
The Police got a call for help at Blk 102 Aljunied Crescent at 1.50 p.m. on October 17, 2020. The caller told the cops that her spouse had reportedly threatened her with a knife.

Officers from the Bedok Police Division apprehended the guy on October 24, 2020, after conducting thorough ground investigations.
The man had a quarrel with his wife, according to the investigation. He then allegedly injured his wife by putting shampoo into her eyes, beating her with a towel, ripping her clothes, threatening to rape her and enlisting the help of his buddies to rape her, brandishing a knife at her, and shoving her face left and right.
On September 10, 2021, the guy will face charges of voluntarily inflicting harm, criminal force, and criminal intimidation in court.
The offence of voluntarily causing hurt under Section 323 of the Penal Code carries an imprisonment of up to 3 years, or a fine of up to $5,000, or both. The offence of criminal force under Section 352 of the Penal Code carries an imprisonment term of up to 3 months, or a fine of up to $1,500, or both.
The offence of criminal intimidation under Section 506 of the Penal Code carries an imprisonment term of up to 2 years, or a fine, or both.
NETIZENS WORRIED, DAILY CROWDS AT ADMIRALTY BUS STOP
A man who was waiting for the bus was shocked when he see the amount of people squeezing to go to work at a bus stop across admiralty MRT station.
There is zero social distancing and people were seen rushing to get up the bus.
This resulted in them squeezing next to each other, it is believed that this is happening every morning as the bus stop has bus services headed towards an industrial park in Woodlands/Senoko.

MAN TAKE RAW PORK BONE AND THROW INTO MOSQUE @ TELOK AYER
Lim Beng Wei, 57-years-old, pleaded guilty of 9 September to one charge of public nuisance; he had thrown a raw pork born into a Mosque’s balcony in full view of the members.
2 other charges for public nuisance, with one of them for throwing another bone and another for throwing butter onto the roof of the Singapore Musical Box Museum at 168 Telok Ayer Street, will be considered for sentencing.
What happened?
On 14 January, Lim had purchased 2 raw pork bones from a supermarket in Tanjong Pagar and headed to Masjid Al-Abrar at 192 Telok Ayer Street, with the intention of throwing it at the mosque.
He reached the building, took the bone from the packaging and threw it onto the balcony on the 2nd floor of the mosque.
He was caught by the mosque’s CCTV.
Lim was revealed to be suffering from Paranoid Schizophrenia during the time when he committed the offence.
He is due to be sentenced on 13 October.

Every company sure got angkat people, but this one at my company is extreme. We were having lunch with the CEO and my CEO said that he enjoys the hokkien mee from a food center. The angkat man said: “Same, I also like it”.
Then we were discussing beer and the CEO said that his favourite beer is Erdinger, the angkat man said: “What a coincidence, It’s my favourite too”. He will like whatever the CEO like, my other colleague look down at their rice and eat while secretly laughing while some others felt completely disgusted.
During a meeting, the CEO calls for a break and I head to the toilet, The CEO heads to the toilet as well, guess what? Mr Angkat followed him to the toilet. When we were in the toilet, the angkat master was not even using the toilet and he was just waiting at the corner.
Nabei, he waiting for girlfriend ah? Want to help CEO shake or not. After the CEO exit’s the cubicle he rushed forward to get the tap for the CEO. The CEO said thanks and left the toilet, he moves suddenly and pulls paper towels out of his pocket for the CEO to dry his hand.
