MAN CLAIMS FOOD COMPANY HIDE ROTTING FOODS FROM SFA DURING INSPECTION

When it comes to food safety, suppliers must always be vigilant when dealing with some of these frozen product importers.

For instance, I recently came across this particular frozen product importer in Jurong which I choose not to disclose his name. Terrible stench of expired stocks was discovered by me when I happened to pass by there one day.

I have also been told that these expired stocks are stored in cold rooms of different locations to avoid inspection from SFA before they are reprocessed and resold to the open market at a cheap price.

Can you imagine what could have happened to consumers if they are to consume this expired pork? Who would bear the responsibility? I hope suppliers can exercise due care when dealing with any of such unscrupulous importers to protect the well being of consumers.

MAN WARNS OF BUYING FROM EZBUY, SAID: SMALL CLAIMS ALSO NO CHANCE

I brought this matter up just for the awareness of the public if you are considering to purchase items from Ezbuy. There is no chance you can sue them via small claims tribunal as T&Cs are governed by Law in China, Pudong Shanghai (smart trick from the company), and CASE failed or rather say they have not never started an official negotiation with them as Ezbuy declined (in case any consumer will like to waste their money and time to engage them).

A horrible story started from I purchased a bed on 7/1/21 from Ezbuy and I had requested for cancellation because they failed to dispatch it within the timeframe stated, however they refused for cancellation and full refund as stated clearly in the cancellation term (yet their manager who pretended to be the CEO can said it is against their policy)

I rediscussed further with them and given them 2 options:

Returning of the item and I will pay for the shipping cost however they insisted for me to pay for the storage fees as well due to their delay in this matter

Therefore I chose to proceed with the shipping with the additional term for the insurance coverage that “to ensure there is no defect or damage of the item during the delivery/receiving otherwise full refund is warranted

However they still refused for full refund despite multiple defects or damages found, and part of the item been returned.

I urge the public to be very careful and think twice before you are purchasing any item from Ezbuy, do not fall into the same trick and did not even get back any single cent from them. I hope other local news or authority can react promptly to their dishonesty of the business

4 MEN INVESTIGATED FOR ABUSING PUBLIC SERVANTS

Man VS Bus captain

The first incident occurred on July 31, 2021, when a 53-year-old man reportedly yelled vulgarities at a bus captain after being instructed to properly wear his mask while inside the vehicle at Paya Lebar MRT station.

The bus captain had approached the man in his seat to tell him that his mask had fallen below his nose and needed to be pulled up. Following the bus captain returned to the driver’s seat after obeying, the guy allegedly blasted him with vulgarities. The 53-year-old man is presently cooperating with police investigations into his use of abusive language toward a public servant and his failure to follow safe distancing procedures.

Man Vs Safe Distancing Enforcement Officer(SDEO)

On August 5, 2021, a National Environment Agency (NEA) safe distancing enforcement officer (SDEO) was doing his duty at Geylang Serai Market when he came across an 81-year-old man who had his mask pulled below his lips.

The SDEO had approached the guy to educate him on how to correctly wear his mask, but instead of cooperating, the man reportedly threatened and insulted the SDEO. The 81-year-old man is now cooperating with police inquiries into his use of abusive language toward a public servant and his failure to follow safe distancing procedures.

Drunk Man VS Police Officer

For the third incident, on 7 August 2021, a 51-year-old male passenger had allegedly refused to wear a mask while inside a taxi. The taxi driver had observed the man to be visibly intoxicated and not wearing a mask at the point of pick-up. During the trip, the taxi driver had advised the man to put on a mask and even offered a mask to the man repeatedly, but he allegedly refused to comply. Upon the Police’s arrival, officers engaged the man to put on a mask but to no avail.

The man had instead allegedly hurled vulgarities at the police officers. The 51-year-old man was subsequently arrested for allegedly using abusive language towards a public servant and for allegedly causing annoyance in a public place whilst drunk. He is currently assisting with police investigations for non-compliance with safe distancing measures.

Man VS SDEO again

For the fourth incident, on 12 August 2021, an SDEO attached to the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) was performing her duties at a coffee shop along Whampoa Drive when a 34-year-old man had interrupted her conversation with another patron as she was advising on safe distancing measures, and had allegedly hurled vulgarities at her.

The 34-year-old man is currently assisting with police investigations for using abusive language towards a public servant.

What they will face

Under Section 6(3) of the Protection from Harassment Act, employing threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behavior towards or against a public official is punishable by up to a year in prison, a fine of up to $5,000, or both.

Individuals found not wearing a mask or not wearing a mask properly outside their place of residence are guilty of a violation of Regulation 3A of the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) (Control Order) Regulations 2020, which is punishable under Section 34(7) of the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) Act 2020. Offenders might face a fine of up to $10,000, a jail sentence of up to six months, or both.

MAN ALLEGEDLY TOOK PHOTO OF WOMAN’S CLEAVAGE AT BUS STOP, CAUGHT BY COMMUTER

A netizen shared how she was on the 2nd floor of a double decker bus, when she spotted a man in front of her taking photos of a woman at the bus stop.

The woman was waiting at the bus stop at the time and her cleavage could be seen from the 2nd storey of the bus.

Here is the story:

“So long story short –

I was on the second floor of double deck 187 towards woodlands, when the bus stopped at opp blk 194, there was a woman who’s waiting at the bus stop, from our perspective anyone from the second floor can see her cleavage.

The bus stopped for about 2 seconds and this random dude in front of me literally snapped a picture of her cleavage within the short period. He probably saw me peaking at his phone and now he’s pretending to play his games. I couldn’t get a shot of his face rn.

Few minutes later :

Now I’ve got the “evidence” of his “doing” It’s probably his routine at this point I tried my best to get his face but I couldn’t, I informed other passengers in the bus about it and I told them if to snap a picture of his face if possible.

I did everything I could. The girl was waiting at the bus stop. We were on the second floor. So it’s a “bird eye view – camera” From the second vid he’s trying to snap more girl pictures from above if u get what I mean. I can’t get more evidences cuz I was alighting but I alr told the driver and I asked another guy to help me watch over and yeah.

I hope this sketch makes the idea clearer. The bus stopped for a brief 10-20 seconds and he managed to do it. I was watching from behind cuz that man was way too Obvious Notice how his camera is facing down towards the people below.

That’s about it, thanks”
