The hungry ghost festival has started and many jokes as appeared online.

A photo is circulating on Whatsapp and netizens claimed that a “female ghost” was spotted at a window panel of a building.

It is likely that the photo was taken overseas, This one really scream like ghost, 100% plus chop.

Looks creepy but funny at the same time.

CAR WHACKS INTO DIVIDER AND GOES ONTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC

A video of an accident has emerged on social media.

The accident involves a car smashing through the road divider and onto oncoming traffic, sending debris from the railing flying everywhere and eventually hitting a taxi from the opposite direction.

It is said to happen along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5, at about 2047 hrs yesterday (10 Aug 2021).

YP GIRL ACTS ATAS WITH ANG MOH ACCENT BUT GRAMMAR FAIL

Nowadays wherever I work in the town area I often hear young Singaporeans talk English with American accents. What’s worse is when they talk they give you the impression that their very high class like that. Why must they talk with an American accent English, talking correct Singaporean English is very low class meh?

I have this female friend that always comes talk ang moh accent with me but the grammar super fail. I worked in the USA for years and I still return to Singapore and enjoy my local Hokkien words and mixing multiple languages. I got irritated and I started to intimidate her.

Me: Why you speak with ang moh accent? Your foreigner?

Her: I hang out with my american friends regularly so i started to speak like them and I sound more atas.

Me: Wah i work in US for several year but no ang moh accent lei. Don’t act one kind la. Your grammar also fail

After that, she no longer speaks in an American accent and talks normally. Please la want act atas or act u ang moh pai go Jia sai first la.

GIRL TELLS MUM SHE WILL MAKAN GUYS INSTEAD LETTING THEM

A whatsapp conversation between a mother and her daughter has recently appeared on social media.

In the conversation, the mother first messaged the girl asking her about the timing she would be home and saying that she will prepare dinner for her.

After some time without reply, the mother gets worried and messaged the girl again.

Eventually the girl replied and the mother asked her to be careful and not to let guys takes advantage of her.

However, the girl told her mother instead that she will be the one taking advantage of them instead.

PM LEE’S FAVOURITE IS STEAMED CHICKEN RICE, URGES SUPPORT FOR HAWKERS

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong recently posted about his favourite Chicken Rice on his Facebook page.

He starts the post by saying that Oxford English Dictionary’s word of the day on our National Day (9 Aug) is Chicken Rice, and says that his favourite order is thigh meat and the spare parts.

He also urges Singaporeans to support our local hawkers as dining-in resumes today and also to remember practicing safe distancing and to return our trays after we are done.

WOMAN DIES AFTER KNOCK DOWN BY SPEEDING PORSCHE AT MACPHERSON ROAD

An accident occured along Macpherson road near Macpherson mall, the nephew of the victim is seeking for footages of eye witness of the accident.

Here is the appeal:

Call for witness of fatal car accident on 6 August 5:40-5:45pm on MacPherson Road towards Macpherson Mall near bus stop (opp Cencon Bldg) / opposite motor car shophouses.

My aunt was knocked down by Porsche SUV car plate number SGW32D, flung off far away and died tragically. We would sincerely appreciate if you have any photos / videos or can be the eye witness.

POLICE RAID KTV ISLANDWIDE, 42 PEOPLE INVESTIGATED

According to the Singapore Police Force, an islandwide operation was conducted against illegal activities.

The Police raided 4 unlicensed entertainment outlets (KTV) and 42 people were found.

  • Desker Road

At least 5 people were investigated for running the unlicensed KTV and currently assisting the Police with the investigation.

If they are convicted of running a public entertainment without a valid licence they may be fined up to $20,000 for each charge.

Anyone convicted of supplying any alcohol without a valid licence may be fined up to $20,000.

For non-compliance with safe management measures under the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) (Control Order) Regulations 2020, which is punishable under Section 34(7) of the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) Act 2020, offenders may be jailed for up to six months, fined up to S$10,000, or both.

RUTHLESS WOMAN ALLEGEDLY MURDERED 8 Y.O DAUGHTER IN GEYLANG, ARRESTED

A 35 year old mother was arrested by police for her suspected involvement in the murder of her 8 year old daughter.

Police were alerted to this incident along Geylang Lorong 31 at about 11.40am this morning, 10 August 2021.

The girl was found lying motionless with multiple stab wounds and was unconscious when taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead at 12.45pm.

Her mother will be charged with murder tomorrow, 11 August 2021.

The offence of murder carries the death penalty in Singapore.

Police said they will seek a court order, allowing them to remand her for psychiatric assessment.

LIONEL MESSI CONFIRMS MOVE TO PARIS SAINT GERMAN

Lionel Messi has confirmed his move to Paris Saint-German (PSG) on a 2 year contract, with an option to extend to 2024.

He will apparently be receiving a pay package of 35 Million Euros which is an estimated SGD 55 million per season.

These comes after the legend himself spent two decades with FC Barcelona, and contention to get his signature from Manchester City as well.
