GIRL LETS PUPPY SLEEP ON BED, IT NURSES ON HER ‘MANGOES’

0

A girl shared a story of how she brought home a pet puppy a few weeks back and decided to let the puppy sleep on her bed one night.

While that might seem like a normal thing any pet lovers will do, the girl mentioned that she messed up because she slept in her semi birthday suit that night due to the weather and the puppy then took her as its mother and tried to nurse on her ‘mangoes’.

Here is the story

“Not long ago i got a puppy, and as a first time puppy owner, I’m still testing the waters with what to do. I’ve been following a lot of trainers, and almost every single one talks about training your dog to stay off furniture.

I thought nope, I want to cuddle with my new 3 month old puppy. Lots of people do it, and I see no reason why I shouldn’t.

About an hour and a half ago I went to get ready for bed. I did my nightly routine, and then went to get my puppy from her pen. Now, I sleep pretty much in my birthday suit.

I always did as I think pjs are too hot and uncomfortable. I’ve been sleeping with her two times before this and both times she’s gone directly to sleep by my feet on top of my covers, or on the other side of my bed, also by the feet.

We fell asleep after a while and I think that my puppy took me as my mother and went directly to nurse itself on my ‘mangoes’, biting the ‘tip’ while nursing itself.

So now I’m laying here and I have to get up in four hours. There’s a band aid on the tips of my mangoes, and it feels like someone punched the shit out of my ‘mangoes’ and also cutting it a little bit.

I feel like a moron for not only being in my birthday suit while I sleep with a dog in my bed, but also for sleeping in my birthday suit with a young hungry nursing puppy in my bed.

I don’t know if she thought it looked like her mother’s, or what she thought, but my god, I am never making this mistake again.”

TAIWAN RECOGNISE AND ACCEPTS S’PORE’S COVID-19 VACCINE CERTS

0

The Singapore Trade Office In Taipei recently posted on Facebook stating that the European Commission will recognize Singapore and Taiwan’s digital COVID-19 vaccination and test certificates.

It also added that both nations will accept one another’s digital COVID-19 vaccination and test certificates.

Here is what the FB post said:

Following the decisions by the European Commission to recognise Singapore’s and Taiwan’s digital COVID-19 vaccination and test certificates on 24 November 2021 and 21 December 2021 respectively, the authorities in Singapore and Taiwan now recognise and accept each other’s digital COVID-19 vaccination and test certificates. This is a positive step towards the further easing of border measures for travel between Singapore and Taiwan.

Easing of the border soon?

The trade office said that this is a step towards easing border controls between the two countries.

Straits Times reported that individuals who have a vaccine certificate from Taiwan will be allowed to enter Singapore and move freely.

However, the question on most readers minds is…

Will vaccinated Singaporeans be able to enter Taiwan?

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs(MOFA) and Taiwan Centers for Disease Control, Taiwan’s ban on all foreign nationals entering, or transiting in Taiwan is still active.

Exceptions may be made for emergency or humanitarian reasons. For such cases, travellers must apply for a special entry permit at the Taipei Representative Office in Singapore prior to the trip to Taiwan.

Short-term travellers who are allowed to enter Taiwan are required to serve a 14-day quarantine in a hotel.

Currently, passengers arriving in Singapore from Taiwan will simply need to take a PCR test and test negative at the airport in order to enter the city-state, according to the MOFA, adding that they will not be put to quarantine if specific regulations are followed.

GIRL WENT TO WORK WITH HANGOVER, TOTALLY LOSES FOCUS

0

A girl shared a story of how she went to work one day with a hangover after a night of intense partying and drinking with an old friend which she had not met for years.

This made her lose focus the whole day at work and she even forgot to send out emails which was expected of her

Here is the story

“Okay so I personally didn’t think it was a big deal. It was kinda funny to my colleague, we laughed about it. I went out partying after not seeing my best friend for months yesterday night.

We got messed up and I knew I was bad. I literally fell asleep on the floor just outside of my house.

I saw my boss and he asked how I was and I said “I’m so hung over oh my god” and he laughed and we moved on.

My other boss asked how I was and honestly I think I was still drunk this morning but I told him that I was hung over and he also kinda let out an uncomfortable laugh.

I feel so embarrassed because I was so hungover I was falling asleep at my desk and I threw up like 3 times my head was hurting so badly just my colleague typing made my brain itch.

I wanted to go home but someone else just went home and they needed me for a few important things today. I work at a corporate office btw.

I kept forgetting stuff and I didn’t realise till the last minute that there were so many emails I was meaning to send and I just couldn’t do it I either threw up or I was just zoning out.

At the end of the day I had to submit something and my boss mentioned it to me and I completely thought I sent it.

He asked me to submit it and I looked so confused and said “wait I thought I sent that to you” and turns out I formed the email, just never sent it.

I’ve never been hungover before. This is literally my first time going out like I did and getting drunk like I was.

I wish I could take all of today back.”

ONG YE KUNG & LAWRENCE WONG: FOLLOW SMMS FOR CNY, DON’T GO OUT IF UNWELL

0

The co-chairs of the Multi-Ministry Taskforce, Ong Ye Kung and Lawrence Wong released a video on Facebook urging people to exercise caution and follow the safe management measures (SMMs) for the upcoming Chinese New Year.

Ong said in the video that “as long as you are not well, whether you test negative or not, don’t go out,” this is because antigen rapid tests can have false negatives.

He added that if you get tested again and it turns up positive after you have visited people, it is already too late.

Wong also said that if you are unwell, don’t go out – you can always meet with your family and friends online.

Ong said: “we’re in the middle of the Omicron wave, and we expect the cases to rise sharply. Although we know it is less severe than Delta, our vulnerable can still fall severely ill if they are infected.”

The two co-chairs also urged people to follow the existing safe management measures and limit their CNY gathering to groups of 5.

They summed up their video message by saying: “If we all do our part and exercise personal responsibility, we can have a meaningful and safe New Year celebration.”

“So let’s work together again to ride through this Omicron wave.”

GUY FORGETS TO DELETE PHOTOS OF PAST GIRLS, GF NOT HAPPY

0

A guy shared a story of how he was once trying to scroll through his photo album to find a photo of his daughter for his girlfriend’s friends to see but ended up making his girlfriend angry/

This was because he had dated many girls which he befriended from the dating app Tinder in the past and had their photos in his phone which he did not delete as he thought it was not a big deal.

His girlfriend saw it while he was trying to find a decent picture of his daughter and is now angry with him.

Here is the story

“I was out with my girlfriend and her friends, for context we have been dating for about 6 months. We met online through a dating app.

I was asked to show her friends a picture of my daughter. So I get my phone out and scroll through all the photos to find a decent one of my daughter.

Now I haven’t deleted all of the past women I have spoken to using apps and there were exchanges of selfies. Nothing nude other than my best mate sending me one of his ‘trophies’ from Tinder.

My girlfriend is looking over my shoulder and seeing my screen and then asks who’s that?

So I tell her it’s someone I talked to before we met and just didn’t delete that picture.

My girlfriend is not happy and I can tell I have messed up (I never met this or the other girl she saw a picture of) I then make a bigger mistake by saying I didn’t think it was such a big deal and if she did have pictures of guys I would be fine with it.

Anyway, I was asked to leave, I haven’t slept or felt well all day due to this.”

GUY SHOWS HOW HE COPY ANSWERS FROM MASK DURING THE EXAM

At the start of the video, you can actually see that all the students have already surrendered their phones on the teacher’s desk. This is to prevent communication and to stop them from cheating.

However, this is not going to stop the students from coming out with better ideas to cheat.

The student was seen wearing a mask that contains numeric figures that appears like a maths formula.

The man might be “smart” enough to think of this cheating method but his friend is dumb enough to upload this on social media.

Let’s hope their examiner don’t see this video or the whole lot could get an instant F grade for cheating in the exams.

PLUS SIZED WOMAN TOLD SHE NEED TO “TEST IF SHE CAN FIT” INTO SKYHELIX RIDE

0

A netizen shared how he and his partner went to the SkyHelix attraction at Sentosa on 27 January and wanted to get on the ride, but his partner (who is plus-sized) was apparently fat-shamed by a SkyHelix staff member.

Here is the story:

Hi, me and my partner went to Sky Helix earlier today at 8pm only to get disappointed and felt very upset about it.

My partner is a plus size and she wasn’t able to take the ride.

She teared up and felt embarrassed when the staff told her that she had to test it out first to see if she can fit into the chair.

She felt so embarrassed that she looked at me and teared up. And that was booked and planned as a date for me to bring her because she had been stressed about work and school.

And for her to go through that moment moved me.

I then told her let’s leave and I don’t wish to make her feel uncomfortable and we left without seating on it.

GUY ACCIDENTALLY SCARES OLD LADY BECAUSE OF MISTAKEN IDENTITY

0

A guy shared a story of how he thought a lady which he saw at the train station was his manager from work and then accidentally scared her while calling her.

In his defense he had called out for her to no response and therefore he crept up to her and screamed out ‘OI’ which accidentally scared her.

Here is the story

“So my office manager at work is 61 and she is an absolute babe (she’s not a regular mom, she’s a cool mom’ vibe). We have great vibes working today and always share very interesting conversations.

Anyway, I was coming out of the MRT station the other day and I thought I saw her, there was a lady quite far ahead of me who had the the height, hair cut, and also dressed the same way as my office manager.

So I called my office manager’s name out a couple of times, and she didn’t turn around so I thought that she couldn’t hear me or had headphones in or something.

I ran up to her so I was side by side, and went ‘OI’ really loudly and to my horror, it was not her, but an older than 61 year old lady.

I was absolutely embarrassed and the poor woman jumped and screamed in shock.

I did not know where to hide my face the moment I realised it wasn’t who I thought it was, and I immediately started apologising profusely and explained that I thought she was someone else.

A couple of people witnessed this and burst out laughing and I could not get away fast enough at that point.

I called my office manager and told her about this and she too had a great laugh and poked fun at me

Poor thing. I hope she is having a good day.”

OMICRON SUB VARIANT BA.2 DETECTED IN S’PORE, MORE INFECTIOUS – MOH

0

The Ministry of Health (MOH) said in a statement on 28 January that BA.2, a sub-variant of the Omicron variant, has been detected in Singapore.

According to MOH, as of 25 January, about 48 local cases and 150 imported cases were confirmed to have the BA.2 Omicron sub-variant.

MOH added that the health authorities in Denmark have shared their findings that the BA.2 sub-variant is more infectious than BA.1, although there are no significant differences in the clinical outcomes.

The ministry added that they will need further data and study to fully understand the implications for severity, immunity and transmissibility of BA.2

Variant under iunvestigation

The UL Health Security Agency designated the Omicron BA.2 sub-variant as a variant under investigation and it has not been designated as a variant of concern.

It doesn’t have the particular mutation in Omicron that can be used as a proxy to easily distinguish it from the Delta variant.

Magnus Heunicke, the Minister of Health for Denmark, said that the variant (which is currently dominant in Denmark), appears to be more contagious than the more common BA.1 sub-variant.

However, there is no evidence to show that it causes more diseases and illnesses.

GUY SENDS BRO ‘I LOVE YOU’ EVERYDAY, PARENTS THINK THEY GAY

0

A guy shared a story of how every night before going to sleep he will disturb his buddy by telling him that he loves him over the app that they use to chat, discord.

His friend’s parents saw it one day and sat the friend down for a talk, thinking that the guy and him are together.

Here is the story

“I’m on Discord every day and use it to talk with my friends. This one friend is someone I talk to daily. Another thing you need to know is that I love disturbing people. Friends included.

I decided to start sending him “good night, I love you” gifs whenever he told me that he would be going to sleep. When I first did it, he told me “you sent the wrong gif” and I replied, “No, I know what I sent.”

He then went to sleep. We kept talking and I did it again. He put “just ignore it and go to sleep” and he went to sleep. Now, here’s where the screw up comes in. The third time I did it, he put a thumbs down and angry face emoji reactions on it without replying.

I later go to sleep and wake up to a message from him. He told me that his parents are getting the wrong idea and I gotta stop sending them. I asked him what did he mean and he explained that his parents on occasion check his phone and saw my “good night, I love you” gif.

They proceeded to sit him down and have the “talk” with him. He told me it was super awkward and he tried his best not to laugh at them. He even tried to explain that I just do that to screw with him but they hit him with the “you don’t need to hide it, you can just tell us” stuff.

Luckily, they understood and I agreed to stop because his parents do not need to think that he’s gay. On the bright side of things, at least his parents would support him if he was gay. That’s good to know at least.”
