MAN JUMPS DOWN FROM BALESTIER CONDO AFTER THAI GF BREAKS UP WITH HIM

According to Lianhe Wan Bao, a 27-year-old man leap to his death and landed on a BMW X5, the impact from the fall broke through the sunroof and landed beside the driver.

The incident happened on the 5th of March 2020 morning, the 27-year-old leapt from the 8 Floor of The Interweave Condominium (Kim Keat Road) and landed on the BMW that was driving into the building’s carpark.

At the time of the fall, a champagne-coloured BMW RV was about to enter the parking lot. The man fell into the driveway and broke through the sunroof on the roof of the vehicle. The man slammed into the front seat of the car, his head was exposed outside the roof.

Paramedics declared the 27-year-old dead at the scene.

The front seats of the car were stained with blood and the driver was stunned when it happened.

56-YEAR-OLD ARRESTED AFTER EXPOSING HIMSELF AT YISHUN AND WOODLANDS

A 56-year-old man was arrested for revealing his lower body in Woodlands and Yishun. He will be charged in court today (March 6).

According to the Singapore Police Force, the Police received two reports on the 21st February and 26 February, alleging that a man had exposed his private parts to several female victims at Woodlands Ave 6 (Near Woodlands Mart) and Yishun Ring Road respectively.

The Police investigated in the incident and revealed Police CCTV, police officers from Woodlands Police Station were able to identify the suspect and arrested him on 4th March 2020.

The man will be charged with sexual exposure. If convicted, he can be sentenced to up to one year in prison, or a fine, or both. If the victims are under the age of 14, he can be sentenced to up to 2 years in jail, plus fines or caning.

It is unclear if it is the same person that was reported a few days ago by Singapore Uncensored. On the 4th of March, Singapore Uncensored reported a man who allegedly exposes himself to children at Woodlands.

CASH MAY SPREAD CORONAVIRUS, WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION WARNS

According to the World Health Organization (WHO) they are advising everyone to wash their hands as often as possible and go digital for making payments.

WHO stated that paper bills may spread the coronavirus, but did not state anything about plastic bills. WHO stated that coronavirus might survive on the paper bills and stay on the bills for many days.

The Bank of England has acknowledged this warning from WHO and advises people to wash their hands regularly.

SOUTH KOREA 438 MORE CASES, HITS 5766 CASES, 3 MORE DEAD

Korea Centers for Disease and Control and Prevention reported that as of Thursday (5 March 2020) there are 438 more new cases and the country now stands at 5766 total cases.

The health authorities also reported that 3 more fatalities from the virus.

The total death toll is currently at 35.

The South Korean govt is urging the public to come forward if they came in contact with any of the infected cases, the daily increase in the number of confirmed cases is causing panic and Korean authorities are struggling with contact tracing.

Earlier today, Korea has also banned the export of facemask.

Singapore Ministry of Health announced yesterday that two more people were tested and confirmed with the Coronavirus, bringing the total infected to 112.

18 YEAR OLD BURGLAR CHARGED IN COURT AFTER BREAKING INTO UNIT AT PUNGGOL

An 18-year-old was arrested after he was found involved with burglary and was charged today.

The Police were alerted of the incident on Monday (2 March 2020), that a unit located at Punggol Blk 173A was broke in and jewellery worth S$3,600 was stolen from the unit.

Police Officers from Ang Mo Kio Division were able to identify the suspect of the burglar leading to the arrest of the 18-year-old yesterday.

Police also seized multiple jewellery that was in the possession of the 18-year-old. The 18-year-old will be charged in court today and, once convicted, can be sentenced to up to 10 years in prison and fined.

ROBBERS ARRESTED AT CHOA CHU KANG & BUKIT PANJANG. DRUGS FOUND

According to a media release by the Central Narcotics Branch, Two men and a woman ranging from 35 to 50 years old were arrested for their suspected involvement in a robbery case that involves drugs and assaulting the victim.

The incident happened on the 25 February 2020 at around 5.10 PM. The police were alerted by a 33-year-old victim that he was assaulted by two men and his sling bag containing cash, cards and mobile phone was robbed. The report states that the two robbers were accompanied by a woman.

The Police were able to identify the suspects through investigations and Police CCTV footages. After they confirmed the identity of the trio, officers from Clementi Police Division arrested the 35-year-old woman and the 42-year-old man along Choa Chu Kang Road on 27 February 2020.

Their rented unit was raided drugs amounting to

  • about 4g of ‘Ice’,
  • 300g of new psychoactive substances
  • 440g of heroin

The third suspect is a 50-year-old man who stays at Segar Road, he was arrested and 40g of about 40g of new psychoactive substances were found

The offence carries imprisonment for a term not less than 5 years and not more than 20 years and caning with not less than 12 strokes. Police and CNB investigations against all suspects are ongoing.
