A 20-second video was uploaded by a netizen and it’s circulating on Whatsapp and Facebook.

Despite the constant efforts to calm the patient, he continues his aggressive approach against the security guard.

At the end of the video, the patient said: “IM A DOCTOR, OK?”

Why is he angry?

The patient was supposed to be fasting for a procedure and he was stopped when trying to go to the food court.

A doctor spotted him and tried to stop him, the man started to behave aggressively till the security had to be called in to intervene.

SGH made a statement on Facebook:

“We are aware of a video circulating online about an incident at SGH. Our security officers responded to a call for assistance outside the food court earlier this afternoon and saw that a patient was shouting at one of our doctors. The patient became agitated when approached by our security officers.”

“The doctor had gone to the food court to try to stop the patient from eating as he was scheduled for a procedure later which required him to fast. There was a delay in his procedure as there were more urgent cases ahead of him. We are sorry that the extended fasting might have caused him discomfort.”

“However, the Hospital will not tolerate any form of abuse towards our staff who work hard to provide the care our patients need. They deserve consideration, respect and a safe environment to work in so that they can continue giving their best. We encourage patients and their loved ones to let us know if our service falls below expectation. We will not hesitate to take action against anyone abusing our staff.”

“DIRTY” MARKETING “FREE AIR & WATER FILTER MACHINE” TURNS OUT PAY EVEN MORE

Dear friends and deafies, I have noticed that there are many people posting their Air Purifiers which they claimed to get it for free and pay $168 for the air filter. It may sound too good. I actually tried to research the real cost, the reliability of the brand and company. It proved my efforts fruitful.

Summary – it is an overrated clever marketing strategy. Please refer to the links I have attached at the bottom.

On the online platform, there was similar product selling for $72.10+ especially the filter selling for $21.10+. From these online posts, you can simply get them for a total of $90+. Not only that, if you look at the invoice issued by the seller/advertiser, the filter was called ‘HEPA’. It fits the name and I assumed it should be the same filter which you can actually get it for $21.10 instead of $168 annually.
Again, thank to my friend checking on the advertiser, we learnt that there was another ‘FREE” product which was stated to be the same marketing strategy as the air purifier.

It pains me to see many of them buying the ‘Free’ Air Purifier without realizing the facts. I am a homeowner with my own house thus I used to check on many things which I know much. Therefore, I call on you all to check on the facts first before deciding to buy. It is still your decision.
