**Seeking for adopters & fosterers to ensure cat is safe & sound!**
This a whole report of what happened and why we decided to call the Police. It was a really grave situation and it was the best idea to contact.
We were really thankful for the two policemen that came down to help us.
Huge thanks to everyone who was there to witness the whole event and protecting the cat from getting transported to AVS.
What do you think happens when nobody is watching?
Why are protocols in place when people don’t even follow them?
According to Cat Welfare Society, Town council is supposed to contact mediators of CWS via email whenever there is a complaint lodged by residents. CWS would then be able to step in and solve the problem.
For example, the Town council correspondent a certain part of Tampines that I am in contact with follows these protocols by contacting relevant organisations such as CWS. Whenever a problem arises, she would inform CWS and CWS volunteers would assist in solving it. She is the most efficient and responsible TC manager I have ever met.
In contrast, the town council of 8xx did not follow these protocol + did not pick up urgent call about the incident- which led to today’s Saga.
The whole of Town council needs to be more consistent in handling cat complaints and working with the correct organisations whenever such issues arise.
SUMMARY OF THE WHOLE EVENT
1. 2 foreign cleaning executives under Town Council were carrying a cat in a cat trap and was witnessed by a lady.
2. Cat was placed in the rubbish chute area before I came.
The eyewitness asked them where they were bringing the cat to and they responded “someone” would collect the cat soon. (Should be AVS)
3. I approached the cleaning executive as a Cat Welfare Society volunteer to check if it’s a home or community cat
– I was denied entry as the TC officer told the cleaning executive not to allow me to do anything.
– Meowing could be heard from rubbish chute area. – Eyewitnesses and myself was afraid that the cat was in the yellow rubbish mince machine since the cat sounded like it was in pain.
4. The Tampines Town Council was called and my line cut 4 times while they were redirecting me to the relevant department.
5. Under the advice of CWS, the police was called
6. While the cleaning executive was away, it was confirmed by eyewitnesses that the trapped cat was in the room (As shown in the video)
7. The CWS mediator arrived and the cleaning executive denied her entry to check the well-being of cat despite the fact that she is the official CWS representative.
8. Through the phone, the TC officer in charge told the mediator that a resident had passed the cat to the cleaning executive.
9. The police came. The TC officer told a different story that the TC had trapped the cat because as a resident REQUESTED to remove the cat.
10. The police questioned the Town Counil as they were not following standard protocols regarding cat complaints.
11. The police requested for the cat to be passed to the CWS representative.
We are currently finding the owner of the cat, feeders or any information about the cat. Please message me if you have any details.
Cat was under great trauamtic stress and breathing really hard.
Did u think about what would happen to the cat? Trapped in a rubbish chute?
Many ways it could be put to death?
It was in a smelly rubbish chute area trapped in a rusty metal cat trap.
It was injured from pawing so hard at the rusty metal cage.
************ACTIONS TO TAKE*************

– Any ideas please list in the comments
2. Convince the PAP/government to treat cats better?
– Any ideas on how to convince them? To be more empathetic citizens?
3. People please stop abandoning and roaming your cats for “freedom” as well?
THIS IS WHAT’S HAPPENING TO YOUR CATS.
4. For people who have cat issues like defeacation and peeing or anything else. Please contact CWS instead of contacting TC. https://www.catwelfare.org/contact/

On 1st November 2019, we came back to our Airbnb apartment at night only to found out that all branded items that we purchased during our trip were gone, including the luggage itself. Another 2 luggage were flipped through and all our luxury bags, shoes and shades were stolen as well. Plus another 3 paper bags of luxury goods left were missing as well. All the items have cost us a total worth of SGD15k.
The best part was, the door wasn’t forced open. The burglar obviously had the keys to access to the apartment! We made a report to flatscollection and police on the same day. As promised over the phone on 1st November 2019, flatscollection helpline staff mentioned to call me back on 2nd November 2019 regarding to our losses and refunds of the stay. However, till today (15th November 2019) we are back in Singapore and we have yet to receive any calls or even a reply from flatscollection.
What’s fishy is that there is no surveillance camera in the apartment floor, lift, and lobby at all! There is no way for us to find out what happened to our stuff and of course, we will never get back our belongings.
I couldn’t help but wonder if this happened a lot in Europe. They couldn’t care less about what happened and all I asked was a refund to our apartment because we moved out right after the robbery happened as we did not feel safe at all there.
Action was taken: A police report was made after we found out about the robbery on 2/11/19 0145am.
34-year-old, Jason Esaias Gao Weijie pleaded guilty(14 of November 2019) in court and was ordered to a fine of $4000 after causing hurt to a customer (33-year-old Eugene Lee) at a Haidilao branch located at Clark Quay.

An inventor from a French Village became famous worldwide after inventing a pill that can make farts smell pleasant. He came up with the idea in 2006 after a night a meal with friends and started farting.
“Our farts were so smelly after the copious meal, we nearly suffocated. The people at the table next to us were not happy. Something had to be done,”
The pill has been on sale since 2007 for about S$30 for a bottle. There is even variety for the pills, while some pills produced the effect of “chocolate flavor farts” others produce Lilly or Violet flower scent.
On the website, he claims that research and trials have been put in since 2006. The products are made in France and shipped from Paris.
Other than fart pills for humans, the inventor went on and created “fart powder” for dogs.
Almost every weekend he will witness over 100 of “tour de France” wannabes riding on the and obstructing traffic.
“There were many times that I nearly bang into this bunch of morons and mother F****”
“Who in the right mind will ride a bicycle in an industrial zone that is full of huge trucks“
Every time when he exits the PIE to Jurong Pier road a distance of 5km he has to avoid over 100 bicycles and they even block the whole lane. When the light turns green he has to wait for the bicycles to move off.
For those asking for the 100 riders in the footage, the driver could only use the camera to record during red light for the 5 seconds, as said before its 5km!

Its been at least 2 years since NEA deployed Gravitraps around HDB estates and public areas. There are currently an estimated 50,000 of such traps in Singapore.
The trap is designed by NEA and serves as a trap to attract female Aedes adult mosquitoes to lay eggs. The trap will capture the mosquito and prevent the offsprings of the female mosquito from leaving the trap. It also traps other types of mosquitoes as well.

While NEA is putting in the effort to fight against mosquitoes, residents abused the container as used it as an ashtray.
Please support the continuous effort of keeping Singapore safe for the prevention of Dengue, Zika and other diseases. Not to mention the irritating itch!
