For almost my entire life, I’ve been known by my humor. I tend to do very stupid jokes and comments to make everyone laugh, class clown.

Thing is, whenever I’m not being funny or making stupid jokes, people think I’m not feeling well or I’m mad.

But the thing I’m simply trying to be myself and not having to be the laugh-at-me dude of the class.

All people know me for is my humor, nobody knows what I like, nobody knows how I feel, nobody knows how I truly am.

Whenever I’m not being obnoxiously loud to be funny, whenever I try to actually show who I really am, people just tend to ignore me.

Nobody wants to truly know me, or any aspect of my personality other than my dumb jokes.

I never expected it to happen to me. I was just a normal man, living an ordinary life, dreaming of a banana tree that told me to buy 4D, but never win. But then, one day, something extraordinary happened.

It all started when I was walking home from work one day. I was feeling a bit down, as I had been struggling to make ends meet for a while. As I was walking, I was looking at the trees that lined the street. Then, I saw something strange: a banana tree.

A flower pot dropped from the HDB near the tree and landed on my head. It knocked me off my feet and I was left lying on the ground in a daze. I couldn’t believe what had just happened. I was sure the tree had done it on purpose.

But then, I heard something. It was the tree speaking to me again. It said, “You must not give up. Buy 4D one more time and you will win.” I was so surprised that I didn’t know what to do. I was convinced the tree was trying to help me.

So, I decided to take the tree’s advice one last time. I went to the 4D outlet and bought another ticket. I waited for the draw and, this time, I won. I couldn’t believe it.

It’s been 2 years since my son died and I still cry every day at least 10 times. I will never be better.
I’m sure this feeling will never leave me. It’s constant fear and sadness that lives in my chest. It’s like I’m both going up to the top of the rollercoaster and seeing my son’s body for the first time. I actually don’t remember the first time I saw his body. I had a full body shock and collapsed and got a concussion on a corner of a table. Not a good week.

And at night when he’d finally want to go to bed he could never fall asleep if I wasn’t in the room, preferably in bed next to him. He’d throw fits in toy stores if I didn’t look at what he wanted. He’d apologize in the car and draw me a picture when we’d get home. He would run around the yard for hours, just in laps.

I didn’t go to his funeral or anything. I was in bed. People visited me. They said stuff. It didn’t matter. Like really it didn’t. They didn’t know what it felt like. It was crushing. It still is crushing. It’s like a whole planet on top of me.

I’m so full of sadness and hate and anxiety and fear. I’m very aware of my emotions, my therapist says that’s good. But it doesn’t make anything easier.

This was good to type out though. I’m not crying right now, not anymore. I don’t have work tomorrow. I cleaned my room tonight while crying. My mom brought me some cookies and tea. That’s how she shows her love. No words, just warm food. I have those dumb strip lights. My rooms purple right now. I just want to hold him again. I’ll never ever ever hold him again. I miss him so much. I would take anything. I’d take the week he and I were terribly sick and he threw up all over me and I had to clean up while sore and sweating and holding back vomit. I’d take that, just a minute of that. Of pain and illness. Just to see him again. I never got to say goodbye. I wasn’t e en the one who took him to the bus stop that day. My mom did. I don’t remember if I even said good night to him the night before. Everything’s on fire around me. I don’t know how to put it out.

My crazy aunt has joined a cult

The other day my mother complained to me that her sis is asking her to go to her ‘Energy Tree’ session. Every once a week go, morning go and walk around the tree. Then do chanting. Say the tree energy will grant her healing, and whatever she wish for.

The tree energy healed people and allowed the blind to see, she says. Crazy. Where got religion say it can heal people and allow the blind to see one?

Then she says if my mom don’t go, the tree energy will know and cannot protect her. My aunt insisted my mom goes, she says she need to be saved from the evil energy all around us, especially the great evil. Nuts. This is like stories to frighten little children, what religion does this?

Then my mom says that her aunt every month contribute money to the cult, auto giro it out. If don’t contribute means she is not committed. Where go religion do this kinda thing one? Like scam ok.

I wish she would join a real religion than a cult that spews nonsense stories. Next thing you know the cult will tell her a great power will descend from the heavens….

Suddenly got ED. Doctor says it’s all in my mind.

I never had any ED related issues in past. I was having good time with my gf from past 2.5 months. One day it just didn’t get up. We laughed it off but the same thing happened next day also.

Nope, that contract is not going by MOM law. You can go ahead and resign, there are many chinese-china owned company that does that. It’s illegal.

To be bonded, they will pay for your school fees, are they? Because bonded on knowledge transfer is not binding.

Just wait till your salary for the month worked and then just leave.

It’s a one-sided contract drafted by the company as it would be considered an unfair employment- MOM will side with you. (Practically the contract that you sign will be voided and unenforceable) So what the company will do is, after you decide to leave, they will use scare tactics by using a lawyer to send LOD (sometimes up to 3) You can ignore it. Because they won’t really pursue to court , not worth their time.

Usually companies who force you to sign such documents, don’t have a qualified HR. (Certified/ Diploma or degree) as a qualified HR will be able to advise the employer of such unfair and illegal practices .

Also don’t pay them a single cent, usually the HR person (from those china companies), they take commission from what you pay back, and those unlawful binding wouldn’t be in the contract at all.
