my gynaecologist said I was close to infertile so I and my bf took the chance and now I’m scared.

hi! I’ve been reading on this for answers and I have gotten plenty of them but I’m still freaking out..

for backstory, my gynaecologist said the chances of me getting pregnant are uber low. I would give exact details but I’m unsure of where my file is. all I can remember for sure is that she mentioned me being close to infertile

my bf came in me on the 6th so it’s almost on the 25-day mark. my period app says I should be starting in the next 5 days which would be fantastic but I’m having doubts.

i’m experiencing my normal PMS symptoms but they are extreme. my boobs are so sore it hurts to put a bra on, i’m going back and forth between diarrhoea and constipation, I’m bloating so much that it looks like I ate two 5 course meals, and cramping so bad it sometimes wakes me up in the middle of the night or early in the morning.

i know i can only rely and wait on my period, but i’m super scared and not sure what to do. is there any way to induce my period or prevent the growth from going any further (if applicable)? i’m a university student with a full time job and can barely take care of myself, i really don’t need a child. i’m 100% aware this is my fault completely and that my actions have consequences.

any answers or advice would mean the world.

UPDATE (11/24 – 12:33): i took a pregnancy test as recommended and thankfully, it came back negative! my stress has calmed down but i know my real answer won’t be until after my (hopefully not) late period. thank you for all of the answers!

So I’ve been living with my boyfriend for almost a year now and we never had a lot of S. We were long-distance for a while and then when we moved in together S was maybe 3 times a week.

Which was fine with me, that’s my sweet spot. But now he refuses to have S with me entirely. I ask him about it and he just says he’s tired and even when he’s not tired that he just doesn’t feel like it. I told him I couldn’t possibly go on like this as we talk about getting married and having kids often.

Yet despite our trying to schedule it and our talks, he continues to put it off. He assures me it’s not me and I do know that his S drive isn’t very high but I’m not sure I can do this anymore. I even got on birth control so we could do it unprotected and still… nothing.

It’s all gotten to a point where it’s not healthy at all, I end up angry and frustrated and feeling awful, my self-esteem gets thrown out and he feels pressured and stressed which doesn’t make it better. I just feel like I’m sick of waiting and waiting until he feels like it and keeping my mouth shut and repressing all of my feelings.

Plus, he thinks I’m his mother. I don’t know I love him but I’m not sure what to do anymore.

What am I doing wrong? What should I do?

I never liked going as I have skin problems similar to the late Michael Jackson .. because they would always ask “hows you skin” “Still no boyfriend? Owh yeah its because of your skin right.. told you to do plastic surgery”

After that no one else talks to me.

And it’s the same every year. I have done great things that they can ask, like how I managed and completed ironman and how I am getting stronger in the gym and hey I run a pretty dope home baking business. But nope they decide to make me feel that I am only “visible” because of my condition and nothing else.

They would “celebrate” my one year of craniotomy like they would remember such shyt but they cannot remember the day I won a competition as a child or me completing my PhD. They can ask what are my plans after getting my PhD and stuff but nope! My condition seems to be a hotter topic and they would repeat the same question.

Since the surgery every small or big gathering, it always been a hot topic.. they really do make me feel tht I am only seen for my skin condition and my recent surgery, everything else I have done is nothing..

Even my neurosurgeon said my Mental health is very important. I really do not feel like going as it just drowns me in my own emotions thinking that I am only seen because of that.. I feel left out, I feel sad.. but at the same time sorry if I have to turn down a family gathering.
