An advisory from a school was published and send to parents after a student was found positive for Covid-19.
The advisory stated that the student from JC 2 was tested positive for COVID-19 and the student was last in school on Friday (Sept 24).
The school has also stated that they have conducted contract tracing to identify students and staff who were in contact with the positive case
The school is located at 5 Sorby Adams Dr, Singapore 357691
As of 29 September 2021, 12pm, the Ministry of Health has detected a total of 2,268 new cases of COVID-19 infection in Singapore, with 1,810 in the community, 448 in the migrant worker dormitories and 10 imported cases.
8 more cases have passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection. Of these, 5 were male Singaporeans and 3 were female Singaporeans, aged between 72 and 90 years old.
Amongst them, 6 had been unvaccinated against COVID-19, 1 had been partially vaccinated and 1 had been vaccinated. All of them had various underlying medical conditions.
In total, 93 have passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection.
Alot of people say that smart devices like a smartwatch are often a waste of money, apparently not for this dude.
A 24-year-old motorcyclist used his smartwatch to save himself by alerting his loved ones after getting into an accident.

My brother was on his way home. He was riding his Bike at the T Junction and there’s an incoming van from the left turning right. The van dashed out and hit my brother exactly inside the yellow box.
The mentioned van then left the scene. My brother was then unconscious and luckily his apple watch called the ambulance. The van looks similar to the Nissan NV200 type but not confirmed. The incident had led him with a head trauma which caused him to have bleeding in his brain.

A man who once lost his money in investments shared his story on how he saved $500,000 with a regular salary.
I am here to share my story and not to brag and hope that younger people can start saving earlier to retire and pay for important things in the future.
Here is my back story, I am 45 this year and I work a regular job earning $3,300 after CPF deductions. I’m single and I chip in with another sibling to take care of my parents and I do not have a car.
With $3,300, I give $500 to my parents and I only spend $500 for the whole month, Leaving me with $2,300. Guess what? I don’t invest the money because I can’t afford to lose any money if I plan to retire earlier and I’m not much of a risk-taker.
Guess what after 20 years I have $598,000, but I only managed to save $500,000 after 20 years. The reason is that there were unforeseen expenditures and I travel once in a while for fun. But I capped that amount at $5000 a year.
I save $2300 every month and I get a bonus of 1 month a year. This brings me to almost $30,000 worth of savings a year, I pay my HDB with my CPF and I have been renting one of the rooms out for $600 a month.
The $600 I use it to pay unforeseen expenditure such as furniture replacement, TV, repairs and bills, my personal insurance and a small insurance savings plan.
I have a driving license but I do not own a car as it is pretty useless to have a car in Singapore, not to mention the hefty payments such as Road tax and insurance.
Buying a car is like buying a debt, you can pay it in full but you are still a slave to the car. When the car breaks down you pay, when the car is thirsty you pay and many many more reasons.
Do not have a degree
I do not have a degree as my family was too poor when I was growing up, but nowadays degree students are everywhere. They sure can have a better salary than me.
So stop giving excuses that you can’t save money and complaining that your poor.

A 41-year-old man was arrested after allegedly chanting a gang slogan during a funeral at Block 114 McNair Road.
He was arrested for being a suspected member of an unlawful society on 23 September in a police operation conducted at the funeral.
Potential breaches of safe distancing measures were also observed by the police.
At the time of writing, police investigations are still ongoing.
