Neighbours are part of everyone’s life unless you can own a whole plot of private land. Most of the times neighbours are good but sometimes we get those that spawn from hell.

A woman recently shared CCTV footage of her neighbour at Petir Road who comes over to her unit area in the middle of the night to pour weird acidic substances in an attempt to kill her plans.

“How can we feel safe when we have a plant killer with supposedly acid in her hands living next to us? Must we wait until the acid reaches our body or face, then we can do something about this nuisance neighbour?”

“We had already filed a Magistrate complaint on April 9 as we can no longer tolerate such nonsense acts. Currently pending for follow-ups from the Magistrate Court“

According to the footage owner, the neighbour often lights incense and goes out leaving it burning while she is not affected as she is not home.

Night Owl Cinematics actress Nina Tan shared in an Instagram post that she was diagnosed with Alopecia, which causes hair loss, and is the same disease that Jada Pinkett Smith was diagnosed with.

Wanna share that I did my jabs and treatments @cliffordaesthetics with @drgerardee who have been the most kind and gentle. I rmb him telling me to ‘focus on recovery’ and making monthly check-ins with me. He lightens up this whole nightmare for me. It’s has been two months now and the results surpass whatever I have read online. Baby steps baby hair ftw! Will continue to update on the progression since many of you is also going through it as well. Ok bye.

With borders reopening around the world, we will get to see more people travelling and of course, more “weird” or “funny” situations could happen.

A reddit user recently posted a video of a woman washing her underwear mid-flight in a cup of water and even smell it to check for odour.

After rinsing her underwear, she placed it above the air-conditioner vents to dry it.

Another woman who was seated behind tried to control her laughter after seeing the underwear.

Not the first time something similar happen.

Back in 2018, a video also went viral internationally after a woman was seen doing something similar mid-flight.

[Final Update: Fire @ No. 31 Benoi Lane]

The fire at the aforementioned location was extinguished at about 7.30pm on 23 April 2022, and SCDF is currently conducting damping down* operations.

The fire had engulfed a waste oil processing plant.

SCDF deployed 14 emergency vehicles and about 80 firefighters to the incident, comprising career officers, full-time National Servicemen (NSF) as well as Operationally Ready National Servicemen (ORNS). A Rapid Response Fire Vessel (RFV) from the SCDF Marine Division was also deployed.

Firefighters first brought the fire at the front of the premises under control using foam. They then moved deeper into the premises to mitigate the fire. At the same time, foam from handheld jets and the RFV’s monitor were used to mitigate the fire at the side and rear of the premises facing the sea, in order to prevent the fire from spreading.

At the height of the firefighting operation, a total of five foam jets and two water jets were deployed.

Six persons were evacuated from the premises prior to the arrival of SCDF. There were no reported injuries.

*Damping down refers to the application of water to wet burnt surfaces immediately after a fire is put out. It is to prevent any potential rekindle of fire from the hot burnt surfaces.

A passenger travelling on a flight from Bangkok to Singapore was seen laying straight on it with his shoes on.
