According to the Police media release, a 22-year-old man was arrested yesterday (Sept 14) for his suspected involvement in a case of theft of a motorcycle.

On 6 September 2021 at around 6.22 PM. The owner of the vehicle realised that his motorcycle was missing from the parking lot located along Hougang Avenue 1.

He then reported the incident to the Police which lead to investigations, Police officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division revealed Police CCTV footage and identified the man. The man was subsequently arrested on 14 September 2021.

The man will be charged in court today (Sept 15) with theft of motor vehicle under Section 379A of the Penal Code.

If the man is found guilty, he will be facing a jail sentence of up to 7 years along with a fine.

With the ever-growing amount of cases in Singapore, many people are worried that any unnecessary social interactions will only worsen the situation.

A netizen witnessed many people queueing up to enter Vivocity and stated that the queue took one hour before they were allowed to enter.

Despite the long wait time many people still choose leisure over safety.

The queue is so long it leads all the way to the MRT station. Netizens are saying that “Not sure going into Vivo or queueing to go Johor”.

Netizens discussed the situation online and said they should seek alternative entrances, however, they are entirely missing the point. Going in from another entrance does not decrease occupants.

It only increases the amount of people in the mall.

Irresponsible people are everywhere, some people will take up seats just to put their legs to rest.

A netizen encounter an unruly uncle who displayed his shiny shaved legs on the seats of the bus, a man told the uncle to put them down but was scolded but the uncle instead.

A netizen was scammed over $500 after buying a washing machine online at Shopee.

The netizen was contacted on Whatsapp by the scammer and told that the customer would need to pay for insurance and other taxes in order for the delivery to be made.

At that point of the time the customer already paid $300 and thinks that it is alright to pay more and lost $500 in the end.

A netizen commented that the YP thought the XMM’s tongue was an icecream, so he licked it.

A netizen spotted an owl in Holland Village.

It is believed that it is a Spotted Wood Owl,  The wood owl grows to a length of about 44 to 48 cm (17 to 19 in) with a wing length of 30 to 36 cm (12 to 14 in).

This beauty has a distinctive ‘earless’ head and bold black-barred buffy underparts. It is a medium-sized owl with orange facial disc, dark eyes and no ear tufts.
