UPSIZE FRIES LOOKS LIKE HALF SIZE FRIES, WHY THE PORTION LIKE THAT

A man ordered from Food Panda for his Mcdonald’s meal, but when the fries arrived the so-called “upsize” fries looks like it’s been half size.

A netizen with similar experience said this:

WOMAN ORDERED SOFA BUT 3MONTHS ALREADY ALSO NOT DELIVERED

We had ordered a sofa and bed from Smartbed Pte. Ltd.

On 19 June 2021…estimated delivery date 12 Jul 2021.

Simply put..we have yet to receive our order nor were we any pleased with the after sales service. Given the pandemic situation we do understand delays are inevitable…but then again given the attitude of this ‘company’… they just dont seem to ‘care’.

Apparently we are not the only ones affected here… a few of us have already filed our small claims.

For those who are affected also…kindly do the needed… or else this will all be taken for granted by Smartbed.

MORE THAN 450 CASES BUT SHOPPING MORE IMPORTANT, LONG QUEUE @ TAKA

A video emerged online in the wake of yesterday’s announcement that there were 457 new cases of Covid-19 in Singapore, as well as the death of a 62-year-old man who became Singapore’s 57th coronavirus casualty.

It would appear that the news hasn’t deterred Singaporeans from their favourite pastime, shopping and queueing up.

The video showed snaking long queues waiting to enter what is purportedly Takashimaya, because “die die must shop”.

FOREIGN WORK FLUNG OFF LORRY AFTER ACCIDENT ALONG CROSS ST

A woman witness an accident and shared the encounter online:

Yesterday, I was one of the first to respond to an accident at the Central Boulevard/Cecil street crossing. Private car rams lorry with foreign workers, one of the workers falls off and gets overrun by his own lorry. Three people left in an ambulance, fortunately, no life-threatening injuries. Uncle in private car had pains from seat belt/airbag and the two workers had leg & head injuries for tumbling on the lorry.

How can a proud country like Singapore keep transporting foreign workers on lorries without proper protection?! In these days discussing racism, are their lives not as much worth as ours?

Picture of my own car as I avoided taking a pic of the accident with respect for the involved. See less
