In yet another leaked Whatsapp message detailing the attack at River Valley High School that left a Secondary 1 boy dead, a girl was alleged to be the first to see the perpetrator.
The message appears to be a conversation between a parent and another identified party.
The parent detailed that the daughter was the first to see the attacker because the incident allegedly happened in front of her classroom.
She allegedly saw the boy (attacker) holding the axe dripping with blood, and his shoes were also allegedly drenched in blood.
According to the latest release from the Ministry of Health(MOH), Singapore reported yet another 163 new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases as of 12PM today (July 19).
A total of 125 cases were linked to the infamous KTV cluster and fishery port, 106 linked to fishery port while 19 linked to KTV cluster.
137 of the local cases were found to be linked to previous cases, 66 of them has already been placed in quarantine.
The shocking assault that took place earlier today at River Valley High School that allegedly resulted in a Secondary 1 boy being killed, took the newsrooms by storm.
A Secondary 4 boy from the school had allegedly used an axe to hack the Secondary 1 boy to death.
The axe has been seized by the police.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by SCDF paramedics, he was found lying motionless with multiple wounds at a toilet.
The 16-year-old alleged perpetrator, a male Singaporean teenager, has been arrested by the police for his suspected involvement in the victim’s death.
He will be charged in court tomorrow (20 July) with murder, with a view of seeking an order from the court to remand the teen for psychiatric assessment.
What happened?
The police received a call for help at 6 Boon Lay Avenue earlier today (19 July) at around 11.40am.
Officers arrived and found the 13-year-old victim lying motionless at the toilet with multiple wounds.
Preliminary investigations revealed that both teenagers didn’t know each other.
To our understanding, the full facts of the case are yet to be ascertained and police investigations are currently ongoing.
Following the horrific alleged axe attack on River Valley High School’s grounds by a an alleged sec 3 student that resulted in the death of a schoolboy; Minister of Education Chan Chun Sing, took to Facebook to share his thoughts on the matter.
Chan said that the news came as a shock and that MOE’s thoughts are with the families of the students concerned.
He reiterated the importance of the safety and wellbeing of our students and staff.
He summed up his post with a heartfelt message to all student:
“We will take care of you as always. If you need to talk to anyone, or know someone who needs help, please reach out to an adult, your teachers or school counsellors. You are never alone, and we will always stand ready to help you. CCS”
MOH announced in a press release that further precautionary measures will be implemented to protect the more vulnerable elderly people in Singapore from the coronavirus.
Unvaccinated individuals are also urged to get fully vaccinated to reduce their risks of infection and serious illness.
MOH urged those who are unvaccinated, or are vaccinated but have elderly people at home; to avoid crowded places or have too much social interactions; or try to stay home as much as possible for the time being.
The unvaccinated elderly especially, are urged to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
MOH revealed that there are 6 cases at the moment suffering serious illness and that all 6 were not fully vaccinated, with one of them in the ICU.

One of the students said that there was a male student holding a “v big axe (SIC)” outside their classroom, and that he looks crazy.
They shared that everyone was “damn scared” and that there was “literally blood dripping”.
In the other screenshot, it appears to be a conversation between a student and his/her parents.
The student corroborated the accounts of the first screenshot, saying that he/she saw a boy holding an axe.
The student alleged that three girls from his/her class saw a sec 3 boy at the water cooler washing away blood.
He saw them and asked them if they had a phone, because he “killed someone”.
The student said that classes 1H and 1G were hiding in the co-room.
The parent then replied “keep yourself safe”, and asked “can we fetch you now?”
Swarms of people were seen gathering at the Marina Bay area to watch the NDP rehearsals, including the fireworks and the national flag’s fly past.
The Esplanade Bridge was seen packed to the brim on 17 July, many of whom were photographers trying to capture the event.
The hordes have raised concerns from netizens, who are worried about the emergence of new Covid-19 clusters, following the recent outbreak and formation of the KTV, Jurong Fish Port and other clusters including schools.

According to the media release, a secondary school student brought a knife to school to attack his classmate. The Police were alerted to the scene and several Police vehicles and an ambulance could be spotted in the school.
The secondary school student was suspected of injuring a classmate with a knife at school.
This horrific incident occurred around noon today(July 19) at the River Valley High School (River Valley High School) located at 6 Boon Lay Ave.
It is reported that the secondary school student involved somehow brought a knife to the school and attacked the person. The police rushed to the scene to investigate after receiving the notice. It is understood that the injured was another student from the same school.
