According to the Singapore Police Force, a total of 33 people are being investigated after they caught flouting the rules of COVID-19 at a “secret” KTV.

Numerous illegal joints has pop up in parts of Singapore shortly after the COVID-19 restrictions were put in place since last year.

The Police conducted the raid at Enggor Street which is located in the vicinity of Tanjong Pagar.

Among the 33 people are 26 men and 7 other women, the youngest at only 20-years-old and the oldest at 68.

When the Police arrived 2 individuals tried to escape using the backdoor.

The Police said:

“The officers then entered the unit and found another 31 people, allegedly consuming alcohol and socialising. Public entertainment and liquor were believed to have been provided in the unit without a valid licence” 

Not only were they flouting the rules of COVID-19 and the operator of the joint did not have any valid license to operate the premise, such as liquor and entertainment license.

For operating a KTV without the required license and serving alcohol, the outlet could be fine up to SGD$20,000.

Individuals found guilty of not following Covid-19 rules can be jailed up to 6 months and/or with up to a maximum fine of SGD$10,000.

Sometimes superstitious can be used as a tool to cheat people’s money, no one is condemning any forms of worshipping but those that uses the “supernatural” to cheat others are definitely condemned.

17-year-old girl, Soh Chih Hui found out that her mother’s friend believed deeply in the supernatural and used it as a way to cheat the victim’s life savings.

The incident happened back in 2015 and Soh pretended to be possessed by a “Child Deity” some would describe this process as “Tiao Dang” and gave the victim Goh Seng Mui orders to take possession of her money in exchange for a “husband”.

However, even after handing the money over, the victim was not bestowed with a “husband”, The victim then questioned Soh but Soh responded by saying that more contributions would be needed in order for her to successfully find a husband. Which lead to the victim borrowing money from her brother and even cashing out her insurance.

The ritual was conducted with Soh pretending to speak like an authoritative figure and using a high pitch tone to speak to the victim. On other occasions, she would also use a low-pitched voice to pretend like other deities.

In the course of 6 months, the victim gave Soh over SGD$49,600.

Earlier today, Soh who is now 23-years-old was sentenced to a jail term of 1 year and 3 months, She also ordered to payback the victim’s money or she will face an additional 2 weeks of jail term.

Soh is currently out on an SGD$15,000 bail and she will start her sentence on the 5th July 2021.

A video was recently uploaded on the Instagram page sgfollowsalll which shows a man getting caught red handed after taking photos of a woman’s upskirt.

Witnessed an upskirt incident as I was on the escalator near CoCoCane going up from B1 to level one at Compass one with my girlfriend.

The man in this photo and video was filiming the lady infront of him. I witnessed him filming and he was looking around to make sure that nobody was watching him. Unfortunately for him, I caught him in the act. He was using his front camera to film the lady and I saw the footage on his screen. He knew that I caught him as he looked into my eyes for a couple of seconds. I then confronted him and he strongly denied any wrongdoing. When asked “Then why are you running away?” He insisted he wasn’t.

Poor lady wasn’t aware what was going on and look shocked when I told her she was being filmed. Regretfully we forgot to take down the lady’s details as we tried to chase the man down. As I shouted in the mall “Why did you film the lady”, no one came forward to help me stop the man which was unfortunate.

I then called the police to report the incident and that was when he started taking off running towards Sengkang bus interchange and I lost track of him. A police report has been made.

If you’re the lady (see photo with red arrow) or anyone that recognises the lady in this incident please come forward as it will be crucial in the process of bringing this man to justice.

A photo emerged online showing a couple of YPs “sitting” in the MRT in unorthodox manners.

One of them could be seen with his legs stretched out across the seats, taking up 3 of the seats and resting his feet on top of one of the seats.

Another could be seen squatting on the seat and staring at the camera, with his mask not being worn properly.
