NEIGHBOUR HARASS & SPRAY DISINFECTANT AT NURSE & DAUGHTER

A nurse shared his ordeal with dealing with his neighbours for the past few days on his Instagram account.

The nurse who is a frontline worker stated that his neighbour mocked, hurled vulgarities, spraying disinfectant and cursing at his family every time they came back to their home.

Both he and his wife are both front-line workers. Whenever he returns home, he is harassed by his neighbour. Words such as “Kanina, virus, dirty family and obai” are used frequently before being sprayed with dettol by his neighbour.

He shared that they had been good neighbours for the past 5 years and said, “suddenly after this pandemic happen, they knew that we are frontlineers and this is the treatment we receive.”

In the video below, the daughter can be seen clearly putting up her hands to block herself from some kind of liquid which is assumed to be disinfection solution sprayed by the neighbor. A police report has been lodged.

NARA DEER CHILLS WHILE SURROUNDED BY SAKURA

The Nara Sakura Park in Japan is famous for its beautiful scenery during cherry blossom season. Beside its scenery, many adorable deers can be spotted in the park. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the total numbers of the visitors visiting the park had dropped dramatically over the past few months.

A video was posted by HiQ Japan on their FB page showing that deers in the park are relaxing while being surround by beautiful scenery during this sakura blossom season.

SURAJSRIKAN DIWAKAR TO BE CHARGED FOR PUNGGOL FIELD MURDER

20 year old, Surajsrikan Diwakar Mani Tripathi was charged over the stabbing of 38-year-old Tay Rui Hao near a bus stop in Punggol Field Road on May 10 at 11.08pm.

He will be remanded at Changi Prison Complex Medical Centre and he will return to court on June 5.

Mr Tay, who was jogging when he was fatally stabbed by Surajsrikan, died from the severe injuries.

Preliminary police investigations revealed that Surajsrikan is not known to the victim and is believed to have acted alone.

Surajsrikan is currently facing the death penalty.

EXCLUSIVELY MONGRELS SENDS LAWYER LETTER TO VET WHO EUTHANIZED LOKI

Exclusively Mongrels, the welfare group who exposed the Loki controversy has sent a letter via their lawyers from Eugene Thuraisingam LLP to Mount Pleasant Vet Centre (Changi).

The Vet was alleged to have performed eutanasia on Loki, a healthy dog, who was abandoned by its owners.

The lawyer letter which was sent to Mount Pleasant Vet Centre questioned the following :

  • What was the date of Loki’s demise?
  • Was the euthanisation classified as a non-elective or emergency procedure under the prevailing Circuit Breaker measures?
  • What steps were taken by you before the decision was made to euthanise Loki?
  • Were you aware that Loki’s owners were contractually bound not to (euthanise) Loki?

Earlier today, our solicitors from Eugene Thuraisingam LLP sent the following letter to Mount Pleasant Vet Centre (Changi) to seek clarifications about Loki’s euthanisation. Our letter is published in full. We look forward to their response.

1094 COVID-19 PATIENT DISCHARGED & 1 MORE DEATH

According to the Ministry of Health media release, there are 1,094 COVID-19 patients discharged. The total number of recovered cases increased to  8,342 as of 15 May 2020

Break down of 465 new cases:

  • Imported cases: 0
  • Cases in the community: 5 (4 Singaporean / PRs, 1 Work pass)
  • Work Permit holders (residing outside dormitories): 3
  • Work Permit holders (residing in dormitories): 457

1,111 are still in the hospital, 16 of these patients are in the intensive care unit. 17,881 are in isolation at community care facilities. Death numbers increase to 22.

1 Additional Death

A 67 year-old male Singapore Citizen, has died due to COVID-19 infection on the 15 May 2020. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 7 Arp 2020 and had a history of ischaemic heart disease, hypertension and hyperlipidaemia.

THAILAND TO EXTEND INTERNATIONAL INCOMING TRAVEL BAN

As the COVID-19 situation in Thailand gets better, some of their control measures had been uplifted.

Some of these measures include:

  1. Local travel restriction relaxed
  2. Local Markets and malls re-opening
  3. Night-time curfew shorten

However, the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand had announced an extension of the international travel ban which was supposed to end this month. The ban will continue for another month which will end by Jun 2020.

All incoming international flight will remain banned, this comes as sad news for tourists around the world especially those in South-East Asia.

According to a media release, certain circuit breaker measures will still be in place when entertainment outlets resume their operation.

Previously Minister Lawrence Wong said this

“These safeguards must be in place before we can allow workplaces to be open and allow more people to resume going to work.”

“When we do so we will start industries that are critical to the economy and to local employment and that keep us connected to the world and global supply chains.”

MORE THAN 20 CARS CAUGHT RACING ON EXPRESSWAY

A video of illegal street racing is circuiting online, the video is posted by FB page SG Road Vigilante – SGRV. From the video, the driver is travelling on 80 km per hour. The racers speed passed him easily.

From the video, more than 20 cars were spotted racing on the expressway in the middle of the night. Loud engine sound can be heard in the background of the video.

EXHIBITIONIST COLLECTS MONEY FOR OBSCENE MATERIAL, OVER 400 PHOTOS

An exhibitionist has become famous for sharing their nudes and publicly stripping to let others see her in the nude.

They started a Twitter account by the name of @jcmn2402 but the account has since closed shortly after their content went too viral and they are afraid that the authorities might come after them

The girl is in her 20s and the guy is in her 40s.

Collecting Money From Members

They collect D$24.99 per month, or S$69.99 every three months to view their special content.

Previously before their twitter account was deleted, they mentioned that the meet the members for the beer and even look for extra “players” to join the couple in making their content.

The Law

For public indecency or being nude in public, they are liable to an imprisonment term of up to three months, a fine of up to S$2,000, or both.

MAN CHARGED FOR HOUSEBREAKING WHILE ON PROBATION

According to the media release, a 21-year-old man had committed 1 case of housebreaking and 1 case of theft while on 24 months probation. The 21-year-old Kader Gani S/O Aboothahir sentenced to 24-months probation last year on the 03 Sep 2019 for 4 counts of drug-related activities.

However in January this year, the man was caught again for housebreaking and theft during his probation period. Due to his action, the court had decided to re-look into his previous case together with the new cases he just committed.

During the court hearing, the prosecutor had requested for Kader to be jailed for 24 months for his drugs-related offence. On top of that another 4 months and 5 weeks jail term to be added for his new offence.

When the young man was charged, both his parent are present at court, both of them were crying painfully. The father of the convict even tried to beg for mercy on behalf of his son. He says that he had scolded him when he found out that his son have committed the crimes. He went on to say that his son had committed the crime because of his young age without thinking of the consequences.

He begged the judge not to give his son a jail term as this will destroy his future.
