SECRET SOCIETY MEMBERS, 9 LINKED TO THE PARANG FIGHT ARRESTED

According to the media release, 9 suspects who are linked to the fight in Chinatown has been arrested. The 9 suspects include 8 men and 1 woman, aged between 18 to 28.

3 of them were arrested on the scene on the same day as the incident.

They were arrested for being members of an unlawful society, unlawful assembly and rioting with deadly weapons.

If they are found guilty for rioting with deadly weapons, They might be facing jail of up to 10 years and caned.

If found guilty for unlawful assembly – jail up to two years and/or fine.

If found guilt for being a member of an unlawful society – jail up to 3 years and/or fine $5000

Fight For Love?

Investigations revealed that the fight was triggered over a relationship disagreement over a woman.

An island-wide raid was conducted by the Criminal Investigation Department, Police Intelligence Department, and Central Police Division from 10 May 2020 to 12 May 2020.

626 COVID-19 PATIENTS DISCHARGED, 2 MORE DEATHS

According to the Ministry of Health media release, there are 626 COVID-19 patients discharged. The total number of recovered cases is 3851 as of 12 May 2020.

Break down of 884 new cases:

  • Imported cases: 0
  • Cases in the community: 4 (3 Singaporeans/PR, 1 Work Passes)
  • Work Permit holders (residing outside dormitories): 3
  • Work Permit holders (residing in dormitories): 877

According to MOH, 2 infected case are from the healthcare industry and 2 additional death reported

“Case 24016 is a 63-year-old female Singapore Citizen who has no recent travel history to affected countries or regions. She was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 11 May, and is currently warded at the National Centre for Infectious Diseases.
She is employed as a nurse clinician at Singapore General Hospital but had not gone to work since onset of symptoms.”


“Case 24255 is a 55-year-old female Singapore Citizen who has no recent travel history to affected countries or regions. She was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 11 May and is currently warded at Changi General Hospital (CGH).

Prior to hospital admission, she had gone to work for a few hours as a patient service associate at CGH.”

2 Additional death cases

“Case 23908, a 50-year-old male Thai national, has passed away on 12 May 2020. He had been sent to the emergency department at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital after suffering respiratory arrest on 10 May. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 11 May. The cause of death is cerebral hemorrhage.”

“Case 24013, a 31-year-old male Indian national, has passed away on 10 May 2020. He had collapsed after complaining of chest pain while at his dormitory. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection after his demise on 11 May. The cause of death is coronary thrombosis”

70 FIREFIGHTERS COMBAT MASSIVE FIRE AT TUAS WAREHOUSE

According to SCDF a fire happened this morning at around 6.20am, over 70 firefighters and 16 fire fighting vehicles were on scene.

“At about 6.20 am this morning, SCDF responded to a fire at No. 2B Tuas Ave 12. Upon SCDF’s arrival, the fire was seen raging from the second floor of a two-storey warehouse.

SCDF immediately deployed its resources to surround and contain the fire. Firefighters faced intense heat from the fire, which had caused the walls of the premises to break off.

The fire involved the contents of the warehouse which largely comprised machineries and bales of plastic resins.

A total of 16 emergency vehicles and about 70 firefighters were deployed. At the height of the operations, 8 handheld jets were used to mitigate the fire.

The fire was extinguished at about 7.50am. Damping down* operations are currently ongoing.

There were no reported injuries. The cause of fire is under investigation.

*Damping down refers to the application of water to wet burnt surfaces immediately after a fire is put out. It is to prevent any potential rekindle of fire from the hot burnt surfaces.”

MANHUNT FOR 2 MEN INVOLVED IN CHINATOWN PARANG FIGHT

As of 12th May, The police have arrested at least 8 of the people that were involved in the parang fight at Chinatown.

The two groups started the fight over a woman.

The group that was arrested

MOTIVE FOR FIGHT AT CCK CEMETERY “FEMALE FRIEND WAS RAPED”

The two violent men were suspected of using iron bat and knuckleduster as weapons to beat a man resulting a fractured arm.

The two suspects were charged to court this morning (May 12) and revealed on behalf of the lawyers that a female friend had been raped by the assault victim.

Victim’s hand deformed

Chen Si En and Wang Ju Xing were accused of punching Wang Weihao’s head and body with a knuckleduster, resulting in 4 cm head lacerations, a forehead cut, swollen lips, multiple abrasions on the limbs, left-hand deformity and cuts on both feet.

Bail for Chen Si En Rejected

He will be brought back to the scene of the crime where the assault happen for further investigations

FAMILY ARRIVED TOO LATE TO HEAR LAST WORDS OF PUNGGOL MURDER VICTIM

According to the latest media release, the victim who was stabbed at Punggol Fields has been identified as 38-year-old Tay Rui Hao.

After he was found injured at Punggol Fields, the man was sent to Sengkang General Hospital for treatment, his family was notified and rush down to the hospital.

However, the family did not arrive in time to hear his last words and subsequently died from his injuries.

His family knew he went for a jog

Before he was attacked, he told his father that he went for a jog at 10 PM but he was stabbed only two streets away from his home.

He stays with his wife and her dog.

TATTOO SHOP ASK FOR 1000 MCSPICY FOR APOLOGY FROM NLS FB PAGE

Facebook page ‘Night Life S’pore NLS’ made statements claiming that the tattoo shop is affiliated with the people in the gang fight that happen at China town recently and told netizens to boycott the shop.

However this is not true, NLS’s post claims that Soul Tattoo Studio is asking followers to boycott the studio alleged connection to the Chinatown rioting incident.

The owner of the tattoo shop found out about it and reported to the Police

Later on, lawyers were engaged against the Facebook page ‘Night Life S’pore NLS’ and asked to pay $30,000 for damages

21 Y.O ARRESTED AFTER ATTACKING WITH WEAPON AT JURONG WEST

According to the Police, a 21-year-old was arrested after attacking a 26-year-old with a weapon.

The incident happened at Blk 452 Jurong West Street 42

The police have stated that:

“The victim, a 26-year-old man, was conveyed conscious to National University Hospital,”

“A 21-year-old man, who is known to the victim, has been arrested in relation to the case.”

4th Attack Incident on Mother’s Day

WOMEN SENT TO IMH AFTER SMASHING ASHTRAY ON HUSBAND’S FACE

A violet quarrel between husband and wife led to injuries on both sides due to a smashing of an ashtray. A 39 year old woman was arrest at the scene. The incidents occurred at about 5:55am this morning at Block 207C Punggol Place.

Sources stated that the floor and walls outside a unit of the HDB house were stained with blood. Neighbors further added that the unit was believed to be occupied by a family of three, including a couple and son. Some residents had heard the quarrel at 12 o’clock today.

A neighbor who heard the quarrel stated: “When the incident happened, I was awakened by a quarrel, a pair of men and women were arguing, and there were children crying.” She stated that when she opened the door to check, she found several police officers outside the door and an excessive amount of blood on the floor.

Some residents heard that the couple arguing, and someone smashed the ashtray causing injuries on both side. When medical personnel arrived, the two refused to be admitted to hospital.

The police stated that a 39-year-old woman was detained under the Mental Health Act.
