SAF RELEASE VIDEO OF JIAK KIM STREET BOMB DETONATION

A World War II war relic was recently found in a construction site along Jiak Kim Street (The Old Zouk). SAF has successfully disposed of the bomb by detonating the bomb.

Watch their video below

An Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) was recently found in a construction site along Jiak Kim Street. The SAF EOD team from 36 SCE was activated and identified the UXO to be a 50kg World War II aerial bomb.

The UXO was assessed to be unsafe to be moved to another location, and had to be disposed on-site.

Screen grab from SAF Video.

Involving around 40 SAF personnel, the disposal was done in a controlled manner to mitigate any potential effects of the blast and disruption to the surroundings. It involved digging a containment trench and the setting of protective works, which included an overhead cover with compacted sandbags stacked together. A shaped charge was then employed to break open the bomb body in order to burn the main explosives within.

We would like to thank the SAF EOD team for their round-the-clock operational readiness to keep Singaporeans safe!

Customer scolded for ordering drink from another stall “YOU ARE IN MY TERRITORY”

An email was send to Singapore Uncensored on hawker stall owners touting for customers.

This is illegal, NEA has suspended stall owners for similar cases at other hawker centres before.

Commentary:

Hi Singapore Uncensored,
I brought some friends who were from overseas to try our local food at Blk 511 Kaki Bukit Hawker Centre located at Bedok North Street 3.

It was 8pm on a Saturday, and the hawker centre was packed. We eventually found a table but was told by one of the drink stall assistants that we had to order drinks from them as that area was their “territory”.
Throughout our dinner, we were approached countless times by several different drink stall assistants, which we found very irritating.

Despite our constant refusal, we eventually gave in just so that they would stop pestering us. The ridiculous part was that we were scolded and shouted by the person who claimed that it was his “territory”, as we did not buy the drinks from him, but from another stall. This really ruined everyone’s mood.

How were we to know which drink stall assistants belonged to which stall?

This is by far the worst touting practice I have seen, and it definitely left a very bad impression on my friends and I.
I also noticed that some drink stalls used unopened beer bottles and beer mugs to “reserve” tables for their regular customers who were not even present.
As this hawker is open to the public, I believe the table should be on a first come first serve basis.
I really want to strongly urge the National Environmental Agency and the relevant authorities to take action to improve our local hawker experience as such practices should not be tolerated.

I have sent a letter to NEA regarding this issue before, but no action was taken. Thus, I am turning to media platforms in hopes to spread awareness to your viewers.
Please find attached some photos for your reference. Do contact me should you require more information.
Thank you.

PEDESTRIAN PUSHED A 46-YEAR-OLD PMD FEMALE RIDER AT SERANGOON

Pedestrian committed another Pathway offence. Committed a rash act by volunterring causing hurt to others and escaped. Auntie has left leg that wasnt well for years.

Auntie was doing grab delivery on a pmd but although she complied to the latest rules and regulations, this pedestrian appeared and ask her siam, fk off dont block the way and pushed her down and escaped.

Police report made and the officer mention she will loose the case even if she found the person and get a lawyer to sue him.! Condo have cctv footage where they can obtain to get this person, why dont they do it? Is it because she is a pmd user?

I cant understand when a crime has been committed by pedestrians to a pmd user, why pmd riders are still being discriminated.

SCDF deployed 14 emergency vehicles and about 40 firefighters to the incident. At the height of the operations, three water jets were used to bring the fire under control. Four occupants from the affected premises self-evacuated prior to the arrival of SCDF.

The fire was extinguished by 12.45pm and there were no reported injuries. Damping down operations* are ongoing. The cause of fire is under investigation.

*Damping down refers to the application of water to wet burnt surfaces immediately after a fire is put out. It is to prevent any potential rekindle of fire from the hot burnt surfaces.
