“Fabrication About The PAP”, a pro-PAP page that supports PAP is spreading fake news after posting an image that after the removal of GST in Malaysia, cost of living is the same.
The Joke, removal of GST was stated to be on 1 June while the receipt on the image above states 29/05/18.
Netizens were angry at the page and posted several nasty comments claiming that the Pro-PAP page is using fake news to get ignorant locals to not envy Malaysia with no GST.
Zach Nawa wrote, “Blardy hell admin spread fake story! See the date on the receipt both still in May where without GST only start on 1st June. White dog barking lies! Desperate to sabo M’sia new public serving govt..a threat to your master is it?”
Amirul Adli wrote, “So uhh…. you are using an increase price of milo and prata as evidence that cost of living has increased? I guess if you are Pro-PAP, you will desperately use anything to support your agenda uh. Pathetic.”
A resident of Potong Pasir, who has four very young children to feed and to put through school, was charged in court for assault in 2016 and he duly served his time in prison.
Since his release in 2016, he has not been allowed to drive a taxi because of his criminal record. And even though he passed the course to be a security officer, his application for the licence to be a security officer has also been rejected by the Singapore Police Force (SPF).
To make matters worse, in their response to the resident to reject his application in January 2018, the SPF stated in a computer generated letter that he was “not a fit and proper person” in lieu of his previous conviction, words which are used in the Private Security Industry Act.
The SPF’s labelling of a fellow Singaporean who has duly served his time for a mistake which he committed is unwarranted and uncalled for. If the SPF wanted to reject his application, it could have been done without having to label him as being “not a fit and proper person.”
Whatever happened to giving people second chances and opportunities to make amends and move on after making mistakes?
Whatever happened to the Yellow Ribbon Project?
Why do we need to make it so difficult for someone who wants to turn over a new leaf and start all over again? The only ones who will end up suffering are his young children.
A simple reason why it is important to check your passport at the counter after chopping it is that in the land of the Boleh AKA Malaysia truly Asia. Have very ‘diligent’ custom officer that do not even check the print out on the chop. (this is not the first time)
In another words ‘anyhow anyhow’ chop passport.

Thank you for all your support and shares.
I’ve been getting hate messages from our neighbors claiming that I added extra spices in my story to make them look bad and its my fault for this incident…
And they have alerted the relevant authorities to chase after me for posting this post and exposing their stamps, (which I’ve blurred).
Again, I would like to emphasise.
This is not a HATE post! This is to share as an awareness to others.
And advices are greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Very powerful lei, June go in, FEB KELUAR(EXIT)
Dear Friends,
This is just to create awareness to every Singaporeans who is going to JB especially during this period that Hari Raya is around the corner.
Yesterday me and my family had to go through the longest adventure in our life from 12am – 3am due to 1 immigration mistake.
All of our passport was choped with the wrong date by the JB Immigration officer. It was suppose to be 04 June 2018 but the officer chope it as 20th February 2018, which is almost 4 months backdated?? Can you imagine how many passports he choped that night??!! 🤨🤨
We realised the mistake right after leaving the counter’s gantry but due to the peak hours, we are unable to make a stop as we will cause a jam at the back and the constant honking of impatient drivers behind did not help. 😰😰
It took some time as we had to go through every pages to ensure that the chope we were looking for is not hidden on another page as we don’t want to assume the bad stuff.
We immediately informed Singapore ICA officer who scanned our passport, and was escorted by 2 officers to the ICA office where we waited for another 15 – 30 minutes for them to update us on the situation.
We were told that we had to go back to the JB immigration checkpoints again to get the date amended and our current entry to SG will be not be counted. 😪
Thus again, we were escorted by 2 police officer to go through a special road and re-directed to the JB Checkpoint.
We had to re-queue again at the JB checkpoint arrival and went to main office to get the stamp amended.
And thankfully, the main arrival officers on duty were friendly and helpful. 😊
We managed to get it amended and eventually get on our home to re-queue at Singapore checkpoint again.
This post is to create “AWARENESS” for Singaporean to check their passports.
And also to appeal to other drivers behind us to be slightly more patient, as sometimes when things like this happen, it will not only effect us but it will effect you as well since we are sharing the same immigration officer whom is chope-ing both mine and your passport. 😒
You never know, the person in front of you is doing you a favour by helping to save you from this unnecessary mistake. 😊😊
So lets be kind and considerate to one another. 🤗🤗
Apparently, its also an offence in Malaysia if you did not take the responsibility to check your own passport chope which you are liable for a fine or jail once leaving the gantry.
DON’T LET YOUR PARENTS BE FOOLED BY Singtel DEALER – NOVEL COMMUNICATION‼️ (NORTHPOINT CITY OUTLET EXPERIENCE)
My mum came back with a Samsung J3 Pro the other day and got me to help her with the set up. She was obviously happy with getting a new phone paying just $48 upon recontract.
I downloaded some apps to get started and realized the phone response is slow and sometimes lag. For my mum who has been using a Samsung Note 4 previously, this phone respond much slower and the screen is also obviously smaller. Why would mum buy a phone with a smaller screen when she has presbyopia?
Out of curiosity, I took out the contract.
1️⃣ The first page shows the Invoice by Novel Communication for the sale of the Samsung J3 Pro. Unit Price $198, Amount $48, Subtotal $1,346. How come the amount doesn’t tally?
2️⃣ I flipped over and saw the Trade-in Form with a cashback amount of $198. I asked mum if she traded in any phone, she said no. Then how come there’s a cashback? Mum said she didn’t receive any cashback from them too! What is happening?
3️⃣ The next page shows the Singtel recontract details… with a written note on the side saying “Customer agree to trade back Apple iPhone X 64GB”. AM I SEEING THINGS? APPLE IPHONE X 64GB? WHY IS A SAUMSUNG J3 PRO ON MY HAND AND NOT THE IPHONE X?
😡😠🤬
Checked with Mum and she does not know the existence of the iPhone X!
We went back to the outlet and asked to speak to the manager. Wai Keong attended to us and explained the reason why it’s iPhone X in the contract because J3 Pro is no a phone under Singtel plan but they can offer it to us since my mum wants a free/cheap phone that comes with a recontract. (If you can put any phone just for paperwork purpose then why not put a Samsung J2 Pro that’s $0 for recontract? Speaking of which, why didn’t you offer Mum the J2 Pro??)
During our stay at the shop, I overheard another staff using the same selling tactic to the macik opposite, saying I will give you this phone but in your contract I will put xxx… 😠
Given the above scenario, Novel Communication took the opportunity to use my mum’s recontract plan to get an iPhone X 64GB (highest value phone in the market) from Singtel and pushed a kuching kurak phone to my mum!
Using her plan, top up is at $1,100 for iPhone X 64GB. After deducting the $150 recontract voucher, nett top up at $950. Sell the iPhone X 64GB at market value of $1,598. WOAH! $648 PROFIT FROM ANOTHER CLUELESS AUNTIE!
During our conversation, Wai Keong even exclaimed Singtel knows this is how they work and all documentation prove is given to Singtel.
SINGTEL, DO YOU KNOW YOUR DEALER IS MISREPRESENTING YOU❓
Concluded the episode asking for a void in the recontract, returned the phone, got back the $48. Was charged for new sim card and service fee which cannot be voided. 🙄
LESSON LEARNT:
1. ALWAYS check and understand what you are signing for to avoid being “used”.
2. When it’s cheap/free, always have second doubts.
3. To avoid such from happening, always go to the official (not dealer) Singtel/M1/Starhub retail stores.
⚠️ Please check your parent’s contract and see if they are also an unknowing victim.
⚠️ Please share with your circle especially people in Yishun!
Don’t worry about those maids, they are very strong and can survive in any conditions.
But once you treat them too good and let them live in comfort, at least half will start to take for granted and if you are not consistent in being good to them, they will start to feel sour and unhappiness.
There are spoiled brats and also spoiled maids. Sometimes giving them a room is thinking that the room is 100% belong to them. Why do I say 100%? continue reading.
Every Sunday I see any maids would loitering at Joo Chiat complex, City Hall, Lucky Plaza create a dirty atmosphere so hard for us to pass thru. They don’t care intimately with Bangla or Indian boyfriends. It’s become a nuisance and irritating environment. Just hope that they don’t bring them home!!!
The domestic helper should have a proper room on her own. Because we are dealing with a human. Rules must be drawn to make the helper knows what to do and what time and when she can rest and enjoy her off day.
If nothing to do, i try will not squeeze her energy and let her rest like any other normal worker. I even give her extra off days, 7 days leave in a year for vacation. During her off day pls don’t disturb her at all, she is free to go jalan2. Of course the rule says no unauthorised person allowed in the house. In default, the reasonable action is taken.
