I’ve had it! I’ve been living in this apartment for years, and I can’t take it anymore. It’s like the resident living above me has a personal vendetta against peace and quiet. Every single morning, it’s the same story – the vacuum cleaner orchestra starts blaring at the crack of dawn, as if they’re auditioning for a cleaning competition.
But it doesn’t stop there, oh no. Weird hours are fair game too. Who needs sleep when you can rearrange furniture at night? The screeching sound of sofas and tables being dragged across the floor is like nails on a chalkboard, except that chalkboard is my patience wearing thin.
And don’t even get me started on the room doors. It’s like they’ve taken up professional door slamming as a hobby. Bing, bang, bong – the symphony of noisy door closing is enough to make me want to invest in soundproof earmuffs for my own sanity. Drawers are closed in a loud bang sound too. Did the drawers offend them in any ways? Lmao
And let’s not forget the kitchen orchestra. Apparently, washing and storing utensils requires a grand performance. The clink, clank, clunk of metal cutlery being stashed is a daily reminder that quiet mealtimes are but a distant dream.
Oh, and guess what? The nighttime brings a new act to the stage – the TV blaring at maximum volume until late at night. It’s like my upstairs neighbor thinks they’re hosting a late-night movie marathon for the entire building.
I’m all for harmonious living, but this is pushing me to the brink. It’s time for the noise above to finally take a backseat. I deserve some tranquility in my own space.
I (28f) caught my boyfriend (31m) hand in hand with a girl, we’ve been together for 3 months
Hello all, I caught my boyfriend holding hands with a girl yesterday when I was jogging around his neighborhood.
For the past one week, he’s been telling me that he’s busy at work. So, I trusted him and gave him the space so that he could be focused on his work.
Yesterday I made sure that I looked at him in the eye, and he also looked at me. I didn’t confront them, because I could barely feel my legs after witnessing that.
Not long after that, I texted him saying: “You know how much I trusted you…” And he hasn’t responded to my text whatsoever until now.
I am so disappointed that I couldn’t cry, because he’s been a very nice boyfriend to me, he treated me like a princess every time.
So the thing that just happened was absolutely out of my wildest imagination. I am wondering what’s going on through his head right now that he doesn’t even text me until now?
Do you think that he will somehow reaching out to me?

You sure you werent “the other woman”?
(OP) Honestly at this point, I’m asking myself the same thing too. He moved here as an expat, so it seems possible. But I have my stuff at his place, so it should be pretty obvious if there’s any visitors to his place aside of me..
He’s already gone. Block him and move on. If he was concerned, he would’ve told you it wasn’t what it looked like and made up excuses.
Oof. Good thing you found out quite early. Imagine if you wasted 1-2 years not knowing.
You should block him. It sounds like you were the affair partner and the woman you saw him with is his actual girlfriend.
So I was moving into a new home and I had a lot of boxes and appliances that I definitely wouldn’t have known how to set up on my own
One of my friends, I’ll call him M, helped me with moving and carrying some boxes …etc
Even after I fully moved in, he set up the appliances and gave me like a rundown on what to do if something happens
I, of course, thank him a lot but I felt like that’s not enough. So, to show my appreciation, I told I’m to wait for me and went to my room and stripped quickly.
Now this wasn’t weird as we are pretty open with each other, I walked out and went immediately playing with myself in front of him, topless.
There were no curtains yet so the window was open to the neighbours but I didn’t really care, it was even hotter.
I got on my knees and started kissing him down there. This wasn’t a quick and rough kind, but more relaxing and slow, I massaged him down there as well until he came in my mouth, I made sure to lick it all clean <3

Thank you giving proper appreciation and not just giving him some pizza. Appliances are heavy!
Friends like you are needed in this world.
Dang, when are you next moving?
Fuck now that’s some teamwork right there i wish the world worked like that
The last time I helped a woman move all I got was a high five
You are so kind with your rewards
I have the wrong friends in life. Most people in my life don’t even buy me beer or food after moving. We need more women like you and we’d have less angry men walking around feeling worthless.
I walked out of a job interview today after the interviewer berated an employee in front of me.
Retail, a bullshit job I neither want or need, but I was just looking for some extra side income to bolster my finances for the time being.
3 minutes into this interview, the door is open, a staff member comes in and asked when the boss will they be done with the interview because there is a customer who needs something.
No. “sorry, I am busy” or “tell X to deal with it”
…straight into “Jesus christ! It’s SUNDAY and I am INTERVIEWING can’t anyone DO ANYTHING themselves here!” in that just bordering on shouting voice that toxic managers do.
So I stood up, and said “I don’t want the job anymore” and I left.
I hope my leaving didn’t get the staff member in any more trouble than she already had, who knows maybe she will leave too.

One bad manager can send a whole store down the toilet
Good for you! Standing up for yourself is always the best motto. How someone treats employees is an pretty indication of how you would’ve been treated. I’ve had some toxic manager situations and doing this would’ve saved me lots of pain.
People don’t leave jobs, they leave managers. -some wise person
Retail is hell to begin with. You dodged a bullet
Don’t forget to write online reviews. Do your duty and warn others
Glad you had the balls to walk. Would be nice if the manager learned something about herself, but I doubt it
You did the right thing. If I was the employee I would love you forever. Also, I dunno what the policies are at this place, but when I worked retail there were lots of things we couldn’t do without approval from management, and if managers were busy we’d end up waiting in front of an irritated customer. So even if they hadn’t yelled they might have still been putting the employee in a bad position, and that’s still indicative of bad management. You dodged a bullet.
Obligatory not today, but a few weeks back. I had a one night stand with a good friend of mine.
Before it we had a good friendly relationship, talked to each other every day, and I think we both started to develop some feelings.
Then one night after some drinks, one thing lead to another, and we got intimate between the sheets.
The issue arrives in the fact, that after that night, I was ready to turn this into a relationship, my feelings for her shot through the roof.
But for her it was the opposite, she had recently gotten out of a relationship, and I was just a rebound for her.
Now I am not only heartbroken, but I’ve also lost a friendship I feel like, we talk less and less, we don’t see each other often anymore, and it’s just become awkward.
TL;DR Slept with a good friend, lost both potential relationship and friendship

Sometimes the allure is better than the reality.
It happens to the best of us! Give it some time to see if that can mend the friendship and maybe restore some of it, although if your feels now are entirely romantic in nature, that won’t work for you. It is okay to have tried and failed. I wish you the best.
I hate to say it, but you were a rebound and it is possible she did not feel anything so she has become distant. It sucks, but that is life and you have to move on. IF she truly wanted you she would be trying to be with you. bad timing
That is why you don’t sleep with your friends. Lesson learned. There will be plenty more
My man just learned that girls be like, ” I know a place” then take take you to the deepest pit of sadness you’ll ever know
Ex gf wants to place our baby for adoption, not sure that I can
I’m 23. My ex-girlfriend is 20. We met while we were still studying. I’ve since graduated but she has 2 years left.
She’s 21 weeks pregnant and wants to put the baby up for adoption. She was around 14 weeks pregnant when she told me she was pregnant. We had already broken up 2 months before that and I honestly had no idea she was pregnant.
She said she needed space to make her own decision and that’s why she didn’t tell me.
From the moment she told me she was pregnant I told her I would support whatever decision she made. I respect that it’s her decision. I believe in a woman’s right to choose and all that.
I feel guilty that I got her pregnant. I’m internally panicking at the idea of a baby and the idea of being a father is wild and unreal to me right now.
But when she told me she was planning to put the baby up for adoption it felt like a gut punch. She’s already connected with possible adoptive families.
In no way do I think she should be forced to be a parent. I would never want to contribute to that. I completely understand her reasoning. It’s just making me feel sick. She seems as content as she can be with the decision. She knows this is the “right” decision for her.
I don’t know if I can consent to it. I’ve started researching contested adoptions. I think it’s sort of crazy and I’d have to be willing and prepared to completely support and parent the baby on my own and be able to prove it.
I feel guilty thinking about coming in and ruining all of her plans. Maybe it wouldn’t be fair to anyone for me to do that, but I’m becoming more uncomfortable with the idea of adoption every day.
I’ve not told her how I feel because I know it took her a while to come to her decision and even though she feels it’s the right one it’s also a highly emotional thing for her.
I spend a lot of time trying to rationalize why adoption is the best thing for everyone.
I lost attraction to a woman because she smelled like poop when were in bed together and now she’s angry at me.
We were hooking up doggy style when I noticed the back shot air literally stunk like poop. I was immediately turned off and I found myself thinking the next day that I don’t wanna sleep with this person anymore.
I find a lack of hygiene to be inconsiderate and even a little disrespectful to partners; especially when its noticeable during intimacy.
I tried to be mature and have the conversation in person but even then I knew she would take it pretty bad. She spirals down into very negative thoughts about herself and I didn’t want her to think there was anything wrong with her as a person so I tried to bring her down slowly.
When the morning rolled around she made a joke about me going to work and basically ended it with “You’ll provide for us, baby” which I just had to shut down.
I was already trying to figure out what I was gonna say but that kinda made me realize that she has far deeper feelings and intentions for me than she initially displayed.
I told her that while I think she’s a great person, I don’t think we should continue seeing each other or hooking up anymore.
She immediately spiraled and I went into repair mode. I tried to minimize damage by blaming myself. In short I basically gave her the “Its not you, its me” cliche and it kinda worked too well because she exploded on me a couple of days later in my Instagram messages.
It was then she accused me of only dating “the wrong people” so that I could have a pedestal to put myself on.
She said that she was the best option for me and that I’m stupid for not wanting to be with her. She accused me of chasing dysfunction because its the only way for me to appear good or functional by comparison.
That actually made my angry but I still bit my tongue. I wanted to tell her really bad that I really just called things off because she smelled like a marinated rubbish bin and still expected me to f her.
I just left her on delivered and she blocked me after an hour of me not responding.
Me and my girlfriend opened up our relationship and now it’s close again. What do I do?
Me and my girlfriend decided to open up our relationship. On the first day I went to a party and slept with a woman twice and I really enjoyed it.
I saw my girlfriend the next day and I asked her if she had seen anyone yet, she said no and that she had just talked to a couple guys but she has rethought the open relationship and doesn’t want it anymore.
I said okay and I told her what happened with me and that other woman. She went ballistic and hit me as hard as she could all over my body many many times.
She then proceeded to throw a hard metal object at me and throw my phone down the toilet. To be clear, she wanted the open relationship first, what do I do now?
Netizens’ comments
These comments are delusional. If you didn’t want your S.O. to sleep with others , then don’t open your relationship??? And also, people glossing over the obvious physical toxicity in women hitting him and throwing away his stuff???
She thought she had a sure thing wanted an out. T ddnt happen and now she’s annoyed that you took the opportunity.
Don’t let anyone here blame you for what you did, she wanted to play a stupid game and she won a stupid prize, simple as that
Almost irrelevant, but did you discuss the specifics at all? She probably only wanted to open it because she had someone she wanted to f, and is surprised you even got any.
Oh no, not the consequences of her actions! She has shown her true colors, and those colors hoisted a red flag up high.
She wanted to open up the relationship to see other people, then when you went and did exactly that, she physically assaults you.

In a bizarre yet comical incident captured on CCTV, a Malaysian-plated motorcycle rider’s ill-fated attempt to pilfer motorbike parts has become the talk of the town.
The incident, dated September 14, unfolded in a peculiar sequence of events that left both the motorbike owner and amused onlookers in stitches.
The Mysterious Thief Strikes
The CCTV footage, though not crystal clear, offers a glimpse into the unfolding drama. A shadowy figure is seen lurking near a parked motorcycle, which happens to be a brand-new, eye-catching model adorned with intricate gold embellishments.
The motorbike’s owner, who remains off-camera, can be heard exclaiming, “There! He’s trying to shake my thing! Then cannot.”
The “thing” in question is presumably one of the bike’s side mirrors or another piece of equipment attached to the vehicle. It appears that the thief’s attempt to steal the item ends in failure, prompting a hasty retreat.
He swiftly mounts his own motorcycle and speeds away, leaving the scene with nothing to show for his efforts.
“Cannot, he’s gone already,” the motorbike owner says as he commentates over the video, his voice laced with a mixture of amusement and relief.
Round Two: The Thief’s Return
Just moments after his initial failed attempt, the thief experiences an inexplicable resurgence of determination. With an unexpected u-turn, he heads back to the scene, ready to give it another shot.
“Try one more time sia,” comments the motorbike’s owner, his commentary mirroring the sheer audacity of the would-be thief.
However, much to everyone’s amusement, the second attempt also ends in fiasco. The thief’s mission to dislodge the coveted item once again proves fruitless, and he departs empty-handed, albeit with some unintended scratches on the gleaming new motorbike.
