NETIZEN SAYS AUDIO HOUSE SG TEAM SCRATCHED HIS TILES, THEN UNSINCERELY APOLOGISE

0

A netizen recently posted on Facebook’s Complaint Singapore page about his unpleasant experience with Audio House SG’s delivery team.

According to the netizen’s long rant on Facebook, the netizen is basically complaining about the following pointers stated below:

  • MAJOR DELIVERY ISSUES – TIMING INACCURATE
  • DELIVERY TEAMS AND IN-CHARGE IS A MAJOR DISASTER
  • CONFUSING FOLLOW-UPS WITH MULTIPLE WHATSAPP NO. COMING TO ME
  • FOLLOW-UP FROM “MANAGER” OF AUDIOHOUSE IS NON-EXISTANT

Here is what the netizen said

Horrible experience of the Audio House Singapore delivery team.

  • 19th Jan: Delivered Fridge and Washer, Initially I requested for not to have them roll their “karang guni trolley” into the house because we have just completed our deep cleaning of our newly renovated BTO – I appreciate them hand-carrying in the Washer initially.
  • 19th Jan: REAL NIGHTMARE BEGINS – they had to roll in the fridge with the trolley (which I totally understand and agreed for them to do so because it’s impossible to hand-carry the fridge). But the process left scratches on my FLOOR TILES, WALL, KITCHEN WALL TILE
  • 19th Jan: DELIVERY GUY REFUSED TO ACKNOWLEDGE – Told the delivery guy about it but he denied and argued that it’s not possible for installation process to leave those scratches. Obviously my wife and I did BSC defect checks, cleaned the whole house etc and we are 200% sure those were fresh scratches.

Conversation is going nowhere so I told him to just go back and escalate it to his boss and I will send my feedback to Audiohouse directly (via WhatsApp).
  • 19th Jan: Immediately WhatsApp (WA) Audiohouse on the details of the issues and pictures
  • 19th Jan: DELIVERY TEAM’S “BOSS” – About 1h later, got a call from a guy who identified himself as the boss of the delivery team and he apologized for the inconveniences caused, and he asked for the pictures of the scratches to be WA to him – which I did immediately.

Another nightmare ensues with this guy – see screenshots.

    – There were major communications – I don’t feel his sincerity from his apology AT ALL. I wanted to check what will he do for the scratches on the tiles because if he is merely painting over it then it’s pointless as I can get my contractor to do for me directly AND PROFESSIONALLY. He avoids my question and insist to come down

    – See timing of messages – 3pm told me will give me “AMPLE” time to notify on his arrival timing but I only received a call at 9pm to be informed that he will arrive at 10pm. Seriously? I have not moved into this house yet and he expects me to wait until 10pm – just to come and “SEE THE ISSUE”? And if he needs to rectify it – does it mean that I can only return home at 11pm? 12am?

    – Disastrous call dialogue at 9pm – not a tinge of service recovery attitude, let alone basic customer service! He was simply rude and overbearing. Despite all my frustrations (which I could have just yelled and tell him off), I was still trying to reason with him but with a raised voice/tone because of all these issues (Am I supposed to talk in a chirpy tone?) – his replies were:

“Eh brother these are actually SMALL PROBLEMS”
“Eh brother even my father mother also didn’t AYE me!! You don’t AYE me can??”.

He was also always interrupting and talking over me, asking me to understand him for his full day schedule. He ended off with saying “OK STOP NEVERMIND LET’S STOP HERE AND HANG UP. ENOUGH”

    I was left totally flabbergasted.

Disclaimer: I did not say “aye”, I was like saying “hey”.
  • 20th Jan: I was still dumb enough to initiate a WA to this “BOSS” in the next morning attempting to ask again what exactly will be doing (see pt. 6a) if not, don’t waste each other’s time – don’t have to come down. Not to my surprise, no replies to my text or any return call at all
  • 20th Jan: I sent a WA to Audiohouse about this disastrous call with full info and screenshots.
  • 20th Jan: Audiohouse sent a WA ON ANOTHER MOBILE NUMBER – not sure if they’re being sarcastic (see screenshot) asking for RATING OF DELIVERY SERVICE. UNBELIEVABLE LOL.

Replied the text AGAIN with the full story and screenshots
  • 20th Jan: Got a reply AT 9PM FROM A DIFFERENT/4TH WA NUMBER informing next day (CNY EVE) at 11am to 2pm , they’ll arrange “delivery team in-charge” to come over to rectify.
  • 21st Jan: FOLLOW UP NIGHTMARE – only got a call at 2.30pm to say he is arriving at 3pm from different delivery guy “in-charge”. Tried to explain again and get an answer (REFER TO PT.6A) but to no avail. Another disastrous dialogue highlight:

Me: “Can you answer my simple question? What are you guys going to do to rectify my tiles?”
Delivery in-charge: “Ya ok I also tell you simple answer I need to come down to see it first!”

WOW. I told him that its ok, don’t have to come down, I will lodge a formal complaint. No point ruining my CNY.
  • 21st Jan: Texted one of the many WA Audiohouse about this latest case again, then a “manager” from Audiohouse attempted to call me but when I return the call – no answer
  • 1st and last time I’m buying anything from Audiohouse

TOURIST SAY SPORE WEATHER ALWAYS ‘WET’, RAIN TILL WET & PERSPIRE TILL WET

0

I recently had the opportunity to visit Singapore and I must say, I was taken aback by the weather.

The weather in Singapore is always wet, either you get wet from the rain or wet from perspiration.

I’ve never experienced a place like this before and I was completely unprepared for the humidity and frequent rain showers.

There’s no such thing as a typical day in Singapore.

When I woke up in the morning, I expected the sun to be out and for the temperature to be comfortable. But instead, I was greeted with a thick grey sky and a heavy shower of rain.

It was almost like the rain clouds were waiting for me to arrive.

It was really difficult to adjust to this type of weather.

On days when the heat was particularly bad, I found myself spending most of my time in air-conditioned buildings.

I quickly realised that this was the only way to keep cool and dry.

But it wasn’t all bad. Although it was always raining, I was still able to explore the city and take in the sights and sounds of Singapore.

The rain actually made the air feel fresher and cleaner, and I could appreciate the beauty of the city in a different way.

However, the weather also made it difficult to enjoy some of the activities and attractions in Singapore.

For example, I had planned to go on a night safari, but the rain made it impossible to do so. I had to cancel my plans and find something else to do instead.

Even when the rain stopped and the sun came out, I was still sweating from the humidity. I had to take breaks every few hours to cool down and rehydrate.

Despite the fact that the temperature was actually quite comfortable, the humidity made it seem like I was in a sauna.

All in all, I can’t say I enjoyed the weather in Singapore.

It was wet, humid and uncomfortable. But I still enjoyed my time in Singapore and I would definitely recommend it to other tourists.

Just make sure you bring plenty of umbrellas and mosquito repellent.

GUY’S FRIEND ALWAYS TALKS ABOUT HOW RICH HE IS BECAUSE HE FEELS INFERIOR

0

When I was growing up, I was always surrounded by people who talked incessantly about how much money they had and how they were better than everyone else.

My parents were well-off, and my peers at school were all bragging about the latest items they had purchased. It became an obsession. Everyone wanted to be seen as having the most money, the most possessions, and the best lifestyle.

I was never particularly interested in this kind of competition. I was content with the things I had, and I was happy with who I was.

I had been taught that money and possessions didn’t make you a better person, and that everyone was equal regardless of their financial situation.

But it became increasingly difficult to ignore the fact that people were constantly comparing themselves to each other. I was surrounded by people who were always talking about how much money they had, and how much better they were than everyone else.

It was as if they were trying to cover up some kind of insecurity, a deep-seated inferiority complex that was driving them to constantly one-up each other.

It was tiring. Everywhere I went, I was bombarded with people bragging about how much money they had and how much better they were than everyone else.

I had to constantly remind myself that what truly mattered was not the money or possessions, but the person.

But I was growing increasingly frustrated. I was tired of hearing people talk endlessly about how much money they had and how much better they were than everyone else.

I was tired of people pretending to be something they weren’t, and I was tired of the false sense of superiority it created.

And then one day, it all came to a head. I had had enough of people talking about how much money they had and how much better they were than everyone else. I finally snapped and confronted one of the people who had been bragging the most.

“What are you trying to prove?” I asked them. “Do you really think that by having more money and possessions than everyone else, it makes you better? You’re just trying to cover up your own insecurities.”

My words seemed to hit a nerve, and the person I was confronting became defensive. They started to lash out at me, trying to make me feel bad for speaking my mind.

I knew then that I had struck a chord, and that this person was just trying to cover up their own inferiority complex with their bragging and boasting.

It was a sad realization. Despite all of the talk about money and possessions, it was clear that the people who were doing the most bragging were the ones who were the most insecure.

No amount of money or possessions can make up for a lack of self-confidence.

SG ‘DUA LIAP’ INFLUENCER KIARAAKITTY BANNED FROM TWITCH, FANS SUSPECT BECAUSE SHE ‘EAT’ SAUSAGE

Kiaraakitty, Singapore’s top Twitch streamer who is also quite ‘dua liap’, was recently banned from the Twitch streaming platform.

Date of ban was dated 23 January

A post which was posted on Twitter by StreamerBans first came out on 23 January, announcing Kiaraakitty’s ban from the platform.

It also showed that she was banned from the platform for the fourth time in her whole twitch stint.

The reason as to why she was banned was not stated on the website.

Fan theories

As she got banned, many fan theories appeared online, all trying to guess the reason why she got banned.

The first fan theory as to why she got banned from the platform was because she was seen streaming herself on the platform eating a Taiwanese sausage just like she was eating someone’s ‘PP’.

Other fan theories as to why she got banned includes a part of her stream where she was doing squats and her ‘bottom’ was just slightly away from the camera which was recording her stream.

Screenshot of Kiaraakitty eating the sausage

Here is what you guys are here for, a screenshot of the clip of her eating the sausage like she’s eating someone’s ‘PP’.

Video of her squatting with her ‘bottom’ too close to the camera

A Youtube channel, Twitch clips, even posted a video on their channel, claiming that this was the clip that got Kiaraakitty banned.

While she did not expose any parts of her skin under the clothing, Twitch has guidelines that does not allow its creators to stream themselves even being partially undressed.

It also does not allow its streamers to show visible outlines of their private parts even when it is covered.

Back in action

However, a few days after she was banned, she was back streaming on 27 January.

MAN SAVES MISTRESS CONTACT AS GUY’S NAME, THINKS WIFE WON’T SUSPECT

0

Having a mistress had never been something that had intially crossed my mind, but there she was – beautiful, charming and alluring.

We had met at a party, and it was love at first sight. It was a whirlwind romance, and before I knew it, I was deeply in love with her.

So I try to keep it a secret

I wanted to keep our relationship a secret, and I decided to save her number in my phone – but under a different name. So I chose the name of a guy I knew, thinking that my wife would never suspect a thing.

My wife uses my phone from time to time when she wants to call my parents and I was afraid that if a random female name pops up, she would get suspicious and look into my conversations.

In the end, my wife still found out

Little did I know that my wife was smarter than I gave her credit for. She had noticed the guy’s name which I had saved in my phone keep popping up, even late into the night.

During one of our arguments, she brought it out and confronted me about it.

She said that she already suspected long ago as the ‘guy’ cannot be so free to even keep message me in the middle of the night.

I didn’t know what to say and I quickly tried to make up a lie saying that it was my new colleague at work.

My wife did not believe me and asked me to show her the context of our conversation, and that is where I knew that it was game over.

We filed for a divorce shortly after, and I was left feeling guilty and ashamed.

My mistake of saving my mistress’ number under a different name had cost me my marriage. I had thought that it was a surefire way to keep my secret safe, but in the end, it had only made things worse.

JOBLESS MAN ONLY HAS ABOUT $3 IN HIS BANK ACCOUNT, KIND MAN BUYS HIM MEAL

0

A jobless man in Malaysia who had only RM10 (or SGD $3.07)in his bank account, was too broke to afford to eat, when a kind man decided to buy him a meal.

Malaysian TikToker Abdul Haris Harahap (@hariskacho) posted a video on 23 January showing him buying the jobless man a meal at the Pavilion Kuala Lumpur food court.

Abdul was seen in the video buying food and queueing up to make payment, when the man asked him if he could treat him to a meal, saying that he just got fired.

The TikToker had initially thought the man was a beggar and declined, but he later thought about the incident and realised that the man had asked for a meal and not money, meaning that the man was really starving.

He then ran after the man and invited him to eat with him at the food court, where he learned that the man had lost his job and his boss refused to pay him his salary.

The man ended up being unable to pay his rent and had to leave his home with only RM10 in his bank account, as he considered turning to loan sharks.

Abdul gave the man some money to help him out and told him not to give up after being touched by his story, and drew massive praise from netizens, along with more than a million views on his video.

MAN BUYS DOG TO USE AS ‘CHICK MAGNET’, AFTER GET GIRL ALREADY IGNORES DOG

0

My first dog was a tool.

I got him for all the wrong reasons. I was a young, single guy and I was desperate to find a girlfriend. I figured that having a cute dog around would make me more attractive to girls, and I thought it would be the perfect way to get their attention.

Little did I know that having a dog is a huge responsibility. They require a lot of time and dedication, and they can become an expensive addition to the family. But at the time, I was just focused on using him as a way to get girls.

So I got a small, white fluffy dog. I took him everywhere with me, and he quickly became my constant companion. I’d take him to the park and he’d be the center of attention. Girls would come up and pet him, and I’d use this as an opportunity to start a conversation with them.

And it worked. I started to get more attention from girls, and soon enough I was able to find a girlfriend. But once I got her, I completely forgot about my dog. I didn’t take him out as much and I stopped spending time with him.

I felt guilty about it, but I was so busy with my new relationship that I didn’t have much time for him. Before I knew it, he had become an afterthought. He was just another pet in the house.

The realization hit me hard. I had used my dog as a tool to get a girlfriend, and now that I had one, I was completely neglecting him. I felt terrible and I knew I had to make it up to him.

So I started taking him out more and spending more time with him. I took him on walks and played with him in the park.

My dog is now a much happier and well-adjusted dog. I’m so glad I realized the mistake I had made and was able to make it up to him.

He’s no longer just a tool for me to get girls, he’s a part of the family.

64 Y.O MAN CHOKED ON ANG KU KUEH AND DIED WHILE HAVING IT FOR BREAKFAST

0

A 64-year-old man in Malaysia, Ji Ri Mei, had Ang Ku Kueh for breakfast but choked on it before subsequently dying, according to Shin Chew Daily.

The man was having the sticky and chewy Chinese pastry for his breakfast at his home in Bagan Datuk, Perak on 29 January.

He was with his son and daughter-in-law at his Sungai Sumun home having breakfast at about 9am, when he started having difficulties breathing and feeling soreness in his throat.

He realised he was choking and his son and daughter-in-law started panicking when they realised he was choking, before rushing him to the nearest clinic nearby which was about 2 minutes away.

However when they reached the clinic, they found that it was closed, and they hurriedly rushed to a private hospital, which was 10km away in Teluk Intan, according to China Press.

But too much time had passed and their father died in the car while on the way to the hospital.

The deceased’s son only realised after his father had died, that at the first clinic, there was an emergency button that he could’ve pressed to alert the staff inside.

He was reportedly filled with regret and guilt/

Ji’s body was sent for an autopsy at a hospital and his cause of death was then confirmed to have arose from choking.

Before his death, Ji moved to Penang to be with his children and only returned to his hometown in Sungai Sumun for the Chinese New Year.
