I think I have come to the point of giving up being a man.

It is depressing when I can’t find a job and some recruitment events are locked in for females only. If I were to switch gender maybe I will have better luck.

It is depressing when you look at the tuition assignments page and you see most of them using for “female tutor”. I find that there is virtually no value in being a male.

Then women treat you like you are a sicko just because you are male. I experimented with crossdressing. I went out and about. I noticed women did not treat me the same way. They had close proximity and did not keep much distance. That same day I dressed out, I went to a restaurant and the waiter pulled out a seat for me. When the day was done I made my way home tired. A man offered me his seat. Now I realise that my life is miserable because I am male.

Sometimes now I just feel like telling my wife that I want to switch over to being a female because being a male is not that attractive anymore to me. It is depressing. You can say hi to a kid and people will think you have a motive. When I was dressed out I remember saying hi and the parent asked the kid to say hi to “jie jie”. What a difference.

I thought about why men are the ones committing crimes.

Maybe I understand. You just feel that you are a sicko just because you are branded at the birth male. Men are not engaged by society much. They are given jobs. The good ones are reserved for women. The law also view a man as a prospective S criminal if he is accused. When I am on the train and a female moves her butt towards me without seeing or sensing if anyone is behind her, I am the one who has to jump out of her way so that I don’t get accused.

Being a man I have to be sensitive to my surroundings. It adds extra stress to the brain. I remember how easy it was when I dressed out. Men gave me the way! I didn’t have to care much!

Every day of how women slam men in a lot of situations. I have no more strength. Might as well give up and join them and be a woman. If you can’t win them then join them is a phrase right?

Maybe one day my wife wakes up she won’t see me at home. I will be in Thailand in an operating theatre – ready to be processed into a man-made female according to customised specifications.

Sorry if this post sounds depressing. I have given up being male. I am now waiting to just execute my final plans to transform. I obtained approval letters from two online dud psychiatrists in the US and the surgeon in Pattaya has already agreed to perform the surgery for THB350,000.

The number of scams that are targeting locals has really gone out of hand, almost every day there are victims who post complaints online about how they were scammed.

The post has been shared over 250 times and over 100 comments. However, none of the comments makes any sense other than one.

My mum bank account got hacked several times last night! DBS/POSB seems to be the only bank which can be hacked even WITHOUT you clicking any phishing links! Read so many similar cases online which DBS/POSB did not even know what happened!

So close your DBS/POSB account & transfer your money to another bank! Or don’t put too much money into your DBS/POSB account! Spread the word to your family and friends before they lose all their hard-earned money!

The one comment that makes sense

“In no way, ur mother’s account is “hacked”. Your mom or someone might have gotten access to her credit card details and certain overseas website do not require an OTP for the transaction to go through. It’s either this or your mother is lying after keying her credit card details somewhere and refusing to admit or too ignorant to realise about it.

The term hack is used so commonly that most of the people in this comment thread don’t even know what it really means.“

I am in a friend with benefits relationship with a guy who happens to be an old friend of mine too. I find myself developing feelings for him.

J&T EXPRESS FLOODED WITH HUNDREDS OF COMPLAINTS AFTER DELAYS

Ordering something online is one of the most convenient miracles in the 21st century but many times the bottleneck lies with the logistics company and not the seller.

J&T Express publish a Facebook post back in September and explained how they were working effectively for safe deliveries and preventing transmission.

But the post was bombarded with numerous angry comments from customers who have yet to receive their orders and sellers who have yet to get their orders pick up till today.

There has been over 400 over comments on the Facebook post and almost all of them seems to be very negative.

Here are some of the comments:

  • your guys did not come and pick up the items also did not inform us
  • 20th items pickup and up to date, the parcel is still in the warehouse so what is this? 1 to 3 working days or 1 to 10 working days?
  • if you think cannot handle too many orders then do not take, now all my delivery delayed and customer making hell of noise. Also no informed if items is going to be delay. Is this the way you guys do business?
  • Super lousy service from J&T. Delivery guy came to pick up my order, drop my bakes and just walk away saying that we should rearrange for another pick up! WILL NEVER USE J&T again.
  • Worst delivery company ever! Parcel left in cold for 2 days without collection! No updates of driving not picking up! I strongly recommend people to stop using this company!
  • Horrible service! I was told that they will check on my delivery status after my item missed it delivery date. Ends up, did not get any response from them n suddenly item was left outside my door overnight. I believed it was delivered after 8pm, your delivery man could have the courtesy to knock on my door or msg us and not just leave it outside my house unattended. It is a brand new cookware! What if someone walk pass and took it? Very poor service!
  • hi, i lost 3 parcel still nobody reply me , pick up on 18/1 , status still in your hub
  • Worst delivery company ever! 1 week plus item still havent deliver yet. please close down. and i see so many complaint over here where is the customer service agent?
  • As a shopee seller I have to call so many times to shopee to remind your, guys to come and collect my item. But I wait for 4 day still never come collect. Minister of Health Ong Ye Kung posted onto his Facebook about the new Covid-19 Treatment Facility that was opened earlier today (14 February).

it is located at Expo Hall 9 and boasts about 600 beds for children and their caregivers, and is designed to take care of the most vulnerable in the community.

The newest COVID-19 Treatment Facility (#CTF) at EXPO Hall 9 starts operation today.

Designed to take care of the most vulnerable in our community, it has about 600 beds for children and their caregivers, and 224 beds for the elderly.

As the Omicron variant is more likely to infect children than the Delta variant, this new facility will complement our hospitals in providing care to paediatric patients should they need to be hospitalised. The best defence is still to get our children vaccinated.

We have made good progress in ramping up capacity. Together with the existing EXPO Halls 7 to 10, CTF@EXPO is now our largest CTF and can house over 2,500 beds.

In all, we have about 4,500 CTF beds – with Hall 9 as the latest addition.

Many thanks to the various partners – The Ascott Limited, Constellar Holdings, Raffles Medical Group, Surbana Jurong Private Limited, and Temasek – for working with Ministry of Health, Singapore on this national effort.

A young girl approached me that she has lost her wallet and need money to take transport home. She asked me to give her $50 in order to go home.

I lived street across the mall so I only bought $20 cash with me to buy things from 7-11.

Gave her $10 and she said it’s not enough. I told her I don’t have $50 with me and it’s okay she don’t have to return me $10. I am fine with it, I just want to go home lol.

Stupid girl scolded me for being stingy. I give $10 to tissue aunty she will say thank you. Wtf man seriously

A netizen’s father recently tested positive for Covid and as a result, had to isolate at home. But the father’s (who is working as a cleaner) boss then told him that he will deduct 5 days from his sick leave.

Here is the story:

my father works as a cleaner and I think his boss has been exploiting him.

Recently he was sick and given 5 days MC. On the same day he found out that he was tested positive for Covid. The boss told him that 5 days will be deducted from his MC even though 2 of those days fell on the weekend.

After that his boss called him again and said that if he doesn’t recover after the 5 days he has to see a doctor again to get more MC.

From what I understand, people with covid do not need MC to stay home and those days should be deducted from their hospitalization leave, but my father is too afraid to argue with his boss.

In fact initially he was afraid to even tell his boss that he has covid and cannot go to work on Monday. This is because historically the boss had forbidden my father from taking MCs on Mondays and Fridays and would accuse him of trying to take a long weekend even when he is genuinely sick.

The boss kept saying that all the other employees are trying to pull the same trick and I cannot understand what’s happening.

If he forbids everyone to take leave/MC on Mondays and Fridays, why would he have manpower shortage on those days.

If he did not impose this rule uniformly, does that mean he is targeting my father because he is a pushover?

Besides that, there were other things too like recently he told my father he had ran out of leaves when my father still had 5 days remaining. My father only started taking note of the days he took leave and that’s how he know he should have more days left. Previously he did not and we believe that over the years the boss may have cheated him of many leave days.

While my father’s weak personality is a big reason for all these, I also feel that blue collar worker tends to put up with more BS from their boss because they may be less aware of their rights/are more afraid to lose their job/more used to being taken advantage of. I told my father that we should follow MOM for all the leave issues and that he should stop working for this company but he wouldn’t listen.

It has been 2 years since he told me and initially I thought it was just a phase. He joked about how he knows to differentiate things in the discord, claiming he sees it all as a joke. But being a part of that for 2 years is borderline worrying for me.

I mentioned it to my mum, who also said it is an innocent phase, nothing to worry about. But now he is in this angsty, ‘cooler than everyone’ kinda phase too and things have just gone a bit worse.

He told me not to tell anyone, but he is looking to buy weapons. He had always had a fascination with them for years, but never to this extent. Because he took a part time job over the holidays,  he has decided that he wanted to buy real staff/baton/sword/blades kinda thing. I discussed with him the legality of it all and he claimed that since it can be delivered to sg that it is “allowed”. I told him not to do that but I don’t think he will listen.

I asked him why he wanted them and he said that he is interested in martial arts. “Why not take some lessons?” I asked him, but he says he hadn’t saved up enough for them yet and our parents wouldn’t want to sponsor. Which baffles me because you don’t have enough money to attend lessons that teach you how to handle these weapons safely and so instead of saving up, you decide to buy weapons instead??

He doesn’t share these things to anyone and I am worried that if I told my parents, he wouldnt trust me anymore and then nobody in the family would ever know anything. At least now, I can still try my best to guide him since he trusts me…

But I am worried. He had been diagnosed with ADHD just a few years ago too and so that kinda adds to his impulsiveness…

Anyone has advice? I’m leaning more towards telling my parents

Inform ISD. Let them investigate. Not kidding.if we expect family members of radicalised individuals to report their kin to ISD, this is no different. people may die. SEN may be a mitigating factor but try telling that to the aggrieved after the deed is done?
