SNAKE SWALLOWED CAT WHOLE, THEN VOMITS IT OUT ON ROAD @ BOON LAY

A Facebook user, Cynthia Ong, shared photos and videos of a poor cat being devoured by a snake along Boon Lay Drive.

The post was shared onto the Facebook group Sayang Our Singapore’s Community Cats.

The snake then subsequently vomited the cat’s corpse back out onto the road before slithering away into a drain.

The Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS) was then alerted to the incident and helped to clear the carcass of the dead cat.

Ong said in her Facebook post: “A snake has devoured this poor cat at Boon Lay Drive 640174. If this is your com cat or someone’s cat left to roam freely in the estate, I am so sorry. I have called AVS and inform them about the incident. I believe they will pick up the cat carcass. RIP little one”

ERRANT E-SCOOTER RIDER JAILED AFTER HANDLEBAR HIT LTA OFFICER

71-year-old Wong Chong Weng, was sentenced to 3 weeks imprisonment and fined $1,400 on 15 June after pleading guilty to one count of performing a rash act that endangered the safety of others, one count of failing to stop his e-scooter when asked to do so by officers, and one count of riding his e-scooter on the road.

Wong had ridden his e-scooter illegally on the road and when spotted by LTA officers, he turned around and rode against the flow of traffic – e-scooters can only be used on cycling paths.

He then hit one of the LTA officers in the chest with the handlebar of his e-scooter, resulting in the officer suffering bruises on his chest.

Background

Wong was riding his e-scooter on the left lane of the road along Sembawang Drive on 29 October 2019, when he was stopped by an enforcement officer who was on duty that day, Muhammad Firhan Abdul Kadir.

Wong refused to comply with Firhan’s instruction, and the latter then alerted several auxiliary police officers nearby about the situation.

Wong then spotted the other officers approaching him and turned his scooter around, riding against the flow of traffic.

He soon realised that he was riding back to Firhan and got off his scooter before trying to carry it onto the pavement.

The scooter then got stuck on a grass patch and Firhan then shouted at Wong to stop, but the latter refused.

Wong then managed to get his scooter back on the road and continued riding it, and the handlebar then hit Firhan in the chest.

The police were then alerted about the situation by another LTA officer, and Firhan was then conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.

Firhan was found with a bruised chest and given 3 days MC.

CHIOBU KENA SAMAN BECAUSE SHE PAID PARKING FOR WRONG CAR IN APP

A girl shared a video detailing the mistake that she made when paying for the parking fee of one of her two cars.

She said that she parked her car while running errands and when she came back to her car, there was a parking ticket for a fine of $40.

She then burst out in tears as she checked her phone for the fine amount, and lamented how hard it is for her to see her phone because she’s crying.

The parking fine was issued at 5.44pm but she paid for her parking at 5.32pm.

She said that she was thinking to herself “what’s going on?” before telling her father that the URA staff was “crazy”.

She then added “but they are not crazy because my family has two cars, and I put the license plate of the wrong car into the app.”

She then said while crying, “so I paid for parking and I’m potentially facing a $40 fine.”

COUPLE MOVED IN TGT, BF WANTS OWN SPACE, TELLS GF “PRETEND I’M NOT HOME”

0

my bf [M26] and I [F24] moved in together but wants me to only “see” him on weekends..

Some backstory: My boyfriend is an extreme introvert and I try to be mindful of this.

When we moved in together we made sure he has his own room so that he has a space of his own, and he hangs out in there 95% of the time.

I understand that people generally are a drain on him emotionally and I have zero issues with giving him space!

But this is getting out of hand..

It became don’t come in when the door is closed. He said “if the door is closed pretend I’m not home”

Ok weird, but whatever. Except he never comes out. Right now he is unemployed and I am working so I’m barely home anyways.

After falling asleep alone last night again, this morning I asked him if we can do something fun once I get home (he likes it when I give him “warning”)

he begins to melt down saying it’s normal for couples to not talk for days at a time and since we spend weekends together I am being too much.

it’s just hard for me to keep feelings when he shuts me out.

This is insane right? I don’t think I’m asking for too much. I am content in my own company but I feel lonely after 2 months of this.

He wants me to “compromise” but his compromise is him getting his way. I just want my partner to be there for me sometimes.

He says I should be happy with him greeting me when I get home and then weekend interaction

Writing all this out feels insane. I feel like I’m being gaslit, please help.

MAN RAPED CHICKENS TO DEATH WHILE WIFE FILMED HIM, JAILED 3 YEARS

A 37-year-old man in the UK, Rehan Baig, was convicted by the Bradford Crown Court for raping his pet chickens to death while his wife filmed him, according to The Sun.

He was sentenced to 3 years in prison, with the court describing him as “depraved, despicable and perverted” for performing an act that would make “any right-thinking member of society sick to their stomach.”

He and his wife, Haleema, also previously engaged in intercourse with a dog and had photos of the act, as well as having possession of 49 indecent images and videos of children, with some featuring children as young at 6 years old.

Haleema Baig was spared jail term for her latest act with the chickens after the court learned that she was ill-treated by her husband Rehan, and was given a 6-month suspended sentence.

Baig reportedly raped the chickens in the basement of his house, with his wife (who was filming) also caught inside the footage.

She then joined him in the videos and at one point, Rehan alternated between having intercourse with the chickens and his wife.

The video was filmed on a GoPro and saved in a folder entitled “family vids”, with the wife admitting that they committed the depraved acts multiple times with different coloured chickens.

Two of the chickens that were raped later died, with Rehan seen in one video having intercourse with the dead chicken’s corpse before throwing it away in a black rubbish bag.

The crimes came to light after the National Crime Agency raided their home in Great Horton, Bradford in West Yorkshire after they received a complaint about him possessing explicit photos of children.

Two computers, a laptop and mobile phone were seized by the authorities.

GUY ASKS IF GF IS A SPENDTHRIFT – BUYS $100 SLIPPERS, DOESN’T TAKE MRT/BUS

0

Do you think my GF is a spendthrift?

My gf always insists to pay for all our dates so far. We are dating with marriage in mind. But after three months of dating her, I realise she may be too much of a spendthrift.

She likes to hire rides to get around and doesn’t like to take bus or MRT and have an expensive gym membership.

Yesterday we went to a shop and she bought a slipper for more than $100. She also travels frequently and have been to Spain, Italy, France, Switzerland and New Zealand.

I only earning 2.1 k per month now. Since she earns much more than me and can afford her lifestyles herself, do you all think that it is actually not a problem?

Netizens’ comments

  • If you explain where you’re coming from and she’s ok with it and you’re ok with it; all good. Have a talk. The guy doesn’t have to be the one that makes more/provides…
  • i won’t be complaining bro if she’s ok with it. not like she’s forcing to pay for her stuff
  • Not a problem if it’s a lifestyle she can afford and is used to. Just go with the flow.

MOTORCYCLES “KISSED” IN ACCIDENT AFTER CRASHING ALONG KPE

An accident between two motorcycles took place in the morning of 15 June, where a motorcyclist was filtering onto the road shoulder and crashed into another motorcycle.

The incident happened on 15 June at about 8.36am along the KPE, and the incident was captured on the dashcam of a car that was behind.

The motorcyclist in red was seen in the video on the right fartheset lane before filtering left towards the road shoulder, almost colliding with a van along the way.

He then managed to filter onto the road shoulder on the left, presumably to avoid the traffic jam, but ended up hitting another motorcyclist who was also on the road shoulder.

Netizens’ comments

GUY ORDERS ALCOHOL WHEN OUT WITH FRIENDS, THEN DISAPPEARS WHEN BILL COMES

0

Feels illegal asking for my own money back

A friend in our common clique refuses to pay us back his share of the bill everytime we head out.

When reminded, he explains that he is ‘tight these days’ and will transfer us asap, however, it goes on for months and many of us don’t get our money back.

It’s not that we are unsympathetic towards his financial difficulties, but this friend seems to be clearly living beyond his means and we have to foot the bill for his indulgence.

For some context, this friend orders alcohol when the rest of us don’t, leading to his share of the bill becoming the largest.

When it’s time to get the bill, he magically disappears to the washroom.

We tagged him in the group all the time and pm him individually well but he just replies ‘ok will inform when i tsf’ or ‘am tight now’

Netizen’s comments

I sympathise with people who can’t afford their meals but to order beyond their means… that’s not it man. Growing up I didn’t have a lot of pocket money to go out with friends. I will try to order within my means even in a group setting. It’s basic curtesy to pay back, even if it’s your closest group of friends. I think just split the bill whenever you hang out with him. Like when he goes to the wash room, get the bill and pay individually. So when he’s back, he will have to deal with his own bills. He is obviously overstepping here.
