14 Y.O GIRL MISSING FOR OVER 6 DAYS. LAST SEEN TOA PAYOH

According to media reports, a 14-year-old girl went missing for over six days. The police is hoping to have any information of her.

The 14-year-old girl is Ting Chai Ling.

She was last seen near CHIJ secondary school, last seen location is at Block 626 Lorong 1 Toa Payoh on the 9th of October 2019

DRUNK TOURIST JAILED – BITE AND PUNCH POLICEWOMAN

Katie Christina Rakich a 27-years-old tourist was sentenced to 6 months jail after biting a policewoman and punching another policewoman.

The incident happened in June when she came to Singapore and had a bit too much to drink. By the time she heads back together with her sister she was already intoxicated.

Together, Rakich, her sister and sister’s boyfriend returns to their apartment. Rakich got upset over her sister and she became rowdy and started yelling.

Her family members failed to calm her down and had no choice but to call the police at around 3am.

The police managed to put her in the police car after some struggle. When she reached Woodlands Police HQ, a policewoman wanted to escort her out of the vehicle but got bite instead.

Another policewoman tried to stop her but got punched.

She pleaded guilty in court for her act and she will be serving her jail time.

Is the world going crazy over bubble tea pearls again?

Bubble tea with pearls has been a popular drink that has swept the world when in was introduced many years ago.

Now people around the world are coming out with wacky ideas to mix bubble tea pearls into their diet.The ‘Bubble Tea Fever’ is coming back.

In the image above, the left side photo taken in the Philippines of French Fries with bubble tea topping, I don’t think it will be tasty, actually it looks kind of disgusting. This is served in a restaurant called The Pearl Fajardo.

The right image is Godiva’s Chocolixir drink with bubble tea pearls. Well at least this one looks edible to me. The drink cost about 670 yen in Japan, which is around $8.50 for a cup.

Imagine getting served a plate of that Bubble Tea French Fries with Godiva’s drink. I think I will get nightmares of bubble tea pearls.

MAN ARRESTED AFTER OPERATING MONEY LENDING BUSINESS WITHOUT LICENSE

According to the police a man has been arrested after suspected of operating a money lending business without a legal license. Or many people would like to refer to as “Ah Long”.

On the 8 of Oct 2019, the police received a report of a man operating his money lending ‘services’ at Bedok North Street 1.

The police is still investigating the man, if he is convicted of operating an money lending business without a license, he will be fine a minimum of $30,000 and jail time of up to 4 years.

The police was able to ID the man and he was arrested 2 days later at Bedok North Street 1. $842 cash was found on him along with envelopes and 6 notebooks.

NEW LOAN SCAM: $110,000 CHEATED AMONG VICTIMS

The Police release a media report, warning the public on a new types of scam. The scammer first text messages victims and offer them loans.

At least 20 reports were made for such scams and the total amount scammed is around $110,000 so far.

After the vitims agrees to the loans, he will then be send an invoice by scammer to pay for a deposit along with 7% GST.

Below are the details by the police

Once the victims responded to the text messages, the perpetrators would typically send victims PDF documents, purportedly from the Ministry of Law and/or Monetary Authority of Singapore, informing them that they are required to pay a deposit sum and 7% GST for the loan amount, before the loan can be approved. The intent is to deceive the victims into believing that they are corresponding with a licensed moneylender. In some cases, the victims received another PDF document informing that the loan request had been processed. When these victims declined to make the payments, the perpetrators would harass them by claiming that the loans have already been approved and that they had to pay a processing fee to cancel the loans.

MAN ARRESTED AFTER SLASHING & ROBBING VICTIM NEAR COMMONWEALTH MRT

According to media reports, a 58-year-old was arrested after slashing a man and robbing the victims handphone at Tanglin Halt Road near Commonwealth MRT area.

The police received a report last night at around 10.40pm of this incident. The police were able to swiftly arrest the suspect him hours later (on the same day).

It has been reported that the 58-year-old attacked his victim with a fruit knife.

The man will be charged in court today, if he is convicted of his crimes he is looking at a minimum of 5 years jail time up to a maximum of 20 years along with 12 stroke of the rotan.

CAR CRASHED INTO BUSHES AT HOUGANG CONDO

A red Toyota was spotted crashing into a bunch of bushes late at night, a metal fenced was knock over and the vehicles appears to be severely damaged.

The incident happened last night at around 11pm at Hougang, Parc Vera condominium estates. It is unclear if a police has been reported. We will update update, stay tune for developing news.

Lets hope the driver is ok.

VEHICLE DRIVE INTO LONGKANG AT YISHUN

A video was uploaded online which appears to be a side walk sheltered walkway which leads from Khatib MRT to Yishun MRT.

The red vehicle was seen driving into the grass patches and to the drains below the MRT track.

Netizens were dumbfounded on how the driver got the car through and passed the pillars that was supporting the sheltered walkway.

“SG NASI LEMAK” TELEGRAM – FOUR ARRESTED AFTER DISTRIBUTING OBSCENE PHOTOS

Four individuals have been arrested by the police of they were suspected for circulating obscene photos/videos. SG Nasi Lemak group also include individuals promoting prostitution services.

Shortly, after the arrest, the group has changed its name to “Pasar Malam”.

The distributed content not only included photos of prostitutes but also photos of up-skirt and other illegal photos.

Among the 4 that were arrested, two of them are only 17 and 19 years old. The group is still active with 38,445 members.

All four of them will be charged today.
