There has been development in the Boon Lay PMD incident who injured a 3-year-old.
The PMD rider who was suspected of riding a bicycle and causing a girl’s injury, claimed that he only ran into the wall and said that the girl’s mother “lie”.
Initially the rider contacted the family via Instagram to meet up and talk, however the family refuse and said “if you want to talk you can come over to our home and talk”. The rider refused to go over.
He later accused the daughter’s mother that she is lying. That is when the family decided to hand the incident for the police to settle.
The PMD rider who is only 18-years-old is assisting with the police in the investigation.
A 47-year-old Malaysian SG PR pleaded guilty in court yesterday 10/10/2019 after molesting his neighbor’s 8-year-old daughter.
On the 4th of September 2017 The perpetrator went to his neighbour’s home to make some repairs after the victim’s father requested him to come over.
He later left the unit when the daughter’s father was about to leave home for work.
Shortly after the father left, the perpetrator returned to the unit to continue his repairs. He then went up to the victim’s room and showed her indecent photos and videos on his phone, he proceeded to touch the girl but the girl tried to push him out of the room. He then pulled the girl’s undergarments down.
Months later, the perpetrator wanted to return to the girls home, the girl told him that he was only allowed to visit her on the 1st of December 2017.
The perpetrator told his wife that he needed to return to MBS to do some work on the 1st of December. The wife wanted to do some shopping so she followed along. The moment his wife went off for shopping. He returned to the girls home.
He continued to show the girl obscene material and molest the girl. A day later the victim told her parents about the incident.
Soon after the victims mother brought her to make a police report.
A gold digger girl was excited after hearing that a guy she meet online was from a good family background and has a decent paying job.
The scammer claims that he is a local man but he was born and raised overseas in Chicago. He claims to be working as a 1st Officer on a cruise ship.
After finding out that the guy has a good background, she started exchanging information and chatting with the guy on Whatsapp.
About 2 weeks later, the scammer told the girl he will be sending her some gifts that he bought from Europe, A branded bag and some jewelry. The guy even provided the girl a link and a webpage to track the goods.
The girl was excited and told her friends about it, luckily her friend was an IT expert warned her that it could be an internet love scam as this is too good to be true. Initially, the girl was mesmerized by the guy from a rich background and was dreaming sailing with the guy all around the world.
To prove her IT friend wrong, she opened the link which appears to be a legitimate site to track goods. After entering the tracking code provided by the scammer. An alert appears and told her to pay an additional $2090 for the overweight parcel.
That’s when her ‘sail around the world with rich guy’ dream went down the drain. She tried contacting the guy to verify, but she was already blocked.
Australian tourists complained a durain shop located at Chinatown claim that the shop “chop them”. The store asked them to eat and pay later. Shockingly they were told that one kilogram would cost $88, and a durian of two kilograms would cost $176. WTH…

Association of PMD Retailers: Responds to User Irresponsible Behavior
Retailers also educate the public, promote awareness of security through social media, and continue to work with the authorities to ensure that all products are legal.
The Singapore PMD Retailers Association expressed support for the above statement. The association said in an official book post that this is a collective effort by the industry to include non-association retailers. “As an industry, retailers will continue to behave against irresponsible behavior by users of personal mobility tools.”
Senior Minister of State for Communications and Information, Ministry of Communications and Information, said in a parliamentary question on Monday (7th) that if the attitude of users of personal mobility tools does not improve, the authorities may ban PMDs.
According to media reports, a 78-year-old man fell from a HDB blk yesterday morning at around 9.44am.
The police was alerted to the scene at Block 205 Toa Payoh North.
According to Strait Times, a woman on the scene heard a loud bang while she was waiting for her child at a school. The school reported the incident to the police.
