I have a long-time friend since sec school. Really smart and humble guy. Awesome dude all around, always treats our clique with meals whenever we go out.

We always knew he is earning more than us, but we just assumed it was slightly more.

He bought a resale HDB flat with his wife recently, nothing too extravagant, 4 room flat that just MOP. During the housewarming, as he was showing us around his study… that’s when we saw his watch collection.

4 watches that cost more than the entire house. We questioned him abt it and he just sidestepped our questions. He did let us admire and touch the watches though.

Damn………. thats when I realised how big the ability gap is. We started from the same sec school. My family all think I “made it”, local grad, office job, stable pay and all.

While my fren here is just keeping quiet doing his own thing. Made me realise how big the world is.

My wife bought herself this awesome hairdryer from Dys*n last month, and she paid over $400 for it. This is easily the coolest hair dryer I’ve ever seen. It’s silver/purple and has this really cool design. Reminds me of the Plasma Rifle from Halo. Super quiet as well! You can dry your hair in stealth mode.

I was so impressed by this dryer that I asked my wife if I could use it too. She said I could use whenever I wanted, and it was good that I use it to better get our money’s worth.

I started using it every morning after my shower to dry my hair instead of just towel and air drying like I used to. I have short hair, so it only took like a minute to dry. Still felt like I wasn’t getting much use out of it, so I started experimenting. I tried drying my armpits (makes applying deodorant much nicer), and I started drying down below. Side note: 100% do recommend. Without going into much detail, it just feels a lot more hygenic throughout the day.

This morning, my wife walked into the bathroom after my shower, and saw something perhaps she wasn’t meant to see. For the record, I did not intend for her to come in, but I didn’t have the door locked. I had one foot on the floor, one foot on the counter. Hairdryer in hand pointed towards Venus and Earth. I may have also been humming the Halo theme.

My wife had a bit of a freakout and was like “What are you doing?!” I stopped and reminded her that she said I could use the dryer whenever I wanted. She countered by saying that she didn’t say I could use it “that” way.

So I’m not sure if my wife has a point here. I definitely did not explicitly state how I was going to use the dryer, but there was no conversation of limitations before hand. I wrong meh?

I’ve always had this weird sleep disorder that makes me talk a lot in my sleep. sleep talking is relatively common and its not a huge issue.

the problem is if someone asks me a simple yes/no question while I’m sleep talking, I will give them a completely honest answer, and wake up with a vague recollection of it the next morning (longer answers turn into gibberish or make me wake up)

I’ve seen doctors about it and they were totally confused and told me they couldn’t help me. this has always caused problems for me with relatives, sisters, parents etc taking advantage of it.

well my GF recently moved in with me and took advantage of it. she barraged with all sorts of questions… asked me if I have STDs, if I smoke, if I’ve ever gotten someone pregnant and made them get an abortion, if I’m seeing someone else, if I’ve ever paid for intercourse (lol)

Hey guys, if you can’t tell, this story is about a siam bu. I went to a Siam pub in town area with friends, we’ve never been to one, so it was kind of like why not.

The two friends who I went with to the club were, let’s say a little more experienced since they’ve actually done the deed unlike myself, so while they seemed calm when we were actually at the siam diu, I was nervous as hell. Like I was darting my eyes back and forth when I saw the girl walking towards us, and I just looked like the perfect example of a guy who’s never gone to a siam diu or never seen a girl.

It was apparent to both the siam bus and my friends, so I ended up being coddled literally and figuratively. Now, this is where I really get into the story.

I stupidly ended up being infatuated with the siam bu from who sat with me since she kind of talked to me more, it seemed like we hit it off, and we talked about the gym, normal life, etc. It was cool although she is so much older than me, but then closing time happened, and this is where I felt like I needed to post it somewhere and kinda talk about this whole situation.

My friends kinda saw us talking and that we were having a good time, so they egged me on a little as she was leaving from talking to us/hugging goodbye, and I tried to ask her for her number, she didn’t hear me when I said her name as she was walking away, and I walked out cause I felt stupid. Then I ended up going back, and the bouncer said no I couldn’t ask her when I came back a minute later, so yea…

Ultimately, I think it was a fun experience, and it was cool to go to a club and enjoy my vacation doing stupid stuff, but it kinda messed with my head. Immediately after, I kind of just felt stupid and embarrassed, something along the lines of, “why did I go and do that,” “this is just her job, I definitely shouldn’t have asked,” and, “why didn’t I just call out louder or ask when we were saying goodbye,” It seems like a funny, stupid story, but I felt really bad because I realized just how much attention from a hot girl influenced me, how much I lack romance in my life, and just how I could’ve been bolder, and at least gotten rejected by the siam bu instead of the bouncer, although if I would’ve been creepy, then hell nah, ty to the bouncer for the kind rejection.

Ultimately, I just want to hear what others think, and how I should move forward from this. My idea is to just forget or think of it as a fun albeit embarrassing story.
