One of my classmates bragged that she is a lawyer working in a law firm she said that she’s currently driving a sports car she is busy and appears in court every other week for hearings.  She also claimed that she was a very busy businesswoman with many clients who are millionaires and billionaires

What she did not expect is that one of our classmates is a lawyer as well. He started to ask her which law firm she was working at, she answered the law firm’s name and coincidentally he knew the boss of the law firm.

That’s when her face started to turn white, she suddenly said that she has something urgent and she left the gathering.

We’re not lawyers but are not stupid so my friend called the law firm and chatted with the boss, the boss revealed that she is working as admin staff, mostly make copies of documents or make coffee.

Yeah, of course saying that she is working as a lawyer makes everybody have the “wow” effect she wanted to show off her career but she end up taking a “dump” in her own pants

My evil lawyer friend decided to share the story leave her boss, about a week later she sent a message in the group chat saying that we are a**holes and she have to quit her job because it was too embarrassing for her to work there.

She accused us of being evil and destroying her career, so we told her no one forced her to lie she was the one that wanted to show off and now you have to quit for losing your pride.

Husband spend children’s future money on Casino

 I am 45 years old I’ve been a housewife for the last 10 years, the ten years of my marriage was happy we have two children and live comfortably. but things started to change after my husband started to hang out with a new group of friends, he met this new group of friends after he started working as a salesman. Being a Salesman means he hang out with all sorts of people

Some of his friends bring him to places to drink sometimes to dinner and even to a  KTV. I understand that as a Salesman he had to entertain those customers but there is this one place I can’t accept.

I recently found a receipt in the laundry and shows that he had been to the casino at Marina Bay Sands.  I started to ask him why did he go to the casino he said that he was there just to entertain his clients but not long after he started to show up late more and more end coming home on time doesn’t seem to be a concern to him anymore.

I did not realize anything until I went to the bank, I was going to withdraw money to buy groceries and I realized our shared account was empty.

I asked the bank staff and they said that the multiple withdrawals were done at Marina Bay Sands. That’s when all the pieces make sense, after my husband returned home I questioned him and ask about the money in the bank account. He kept quiet and said that he will put the money back in soon as he is making some investments.

I was furious as he was still lying about what he really did at MBS. I told him to surrender his wallet and he questioned me. I said that if it’s really for investments that should not be any casino hotel membership cards in the wallet right?

Initially, he was reluctant to let me see his wallet but he finally gave up and admitted that he had spent most of our savings in the casino I told him that the money was supposed to pay for children’s University fees and our children is already 10 years old the other one is 5.

Paying a degree is not cheap just for one degree the cheapest will also cost about $20,000 and we have two children with an outstanding instalment for our house. yes, we are still able to survive and pay our bank loan.

But what about our children they wouldn’t be able to pay.

 I’m really disgusted about how the world is like I can never imagine my girlfriend of 10 years has given up on me after I  fail to secure a high salary a car a condo and a degree when I’m just 30.

She later said that she is not leaving me because of another man she’s just leaving me because she is looking for someone better but yeah right who will believe her. She started talking to me in a guilty tone and said that she is holding me back and hope that I will find someone that will truly cherish me.

Just days after breaking up, I heard from my friend said she has already found a new guy who drives a Porsche and he stays in a condominium. So in the end it’s not about me being a bad boyfriend is about her cheating and finding someone else more successful than me 

The world is not fair it is really ugly and disgusting there’s no such thing as true love. In this world, everything is judged on buy and sell value and people just judge face value.

If one is unable to provide what the other needs he or she would just give up.

Getting married very early might be happy for some.But most of the time i hear them eventually break up or divorce when they get older.

To other couples out there the number of years doesn’t represent anything there’s no such thing as a guaranteed boyfriend or girlfriend in this world. The only thing guaranteed is yourself.

Yesterday I dropped the drink as I was taking it out of my grab bag. Been doing grab for 4 months and first time this happened to me so i was a bit anxious. I contacted cs and they informed me to dlvr and get the cust to contact grab cs.

I went up to the cust house and explained about the issue and told her it was my fault as I dropped her order. I offered to buy the exact same drink for her if she can wait or she can contact grab cs for refund if she cannot.

I think she saw that I was nervous and anxious so she say, “it is ok uncle. Is it alright if you get a replacement for me”. I inform her ok.

I went back to coffee bean at lot 1 to place the order. When the cashier saw me, she ask me what happened? I told her the situation. She was sympathetic and say “uncle, u wait. I prepare fast for you”. I make the payment and within 5 minutes she handed me two cups. She say “uncle. One is for the cust and the other one is for you”. I was totally surprised and thanked her a lot for her kindness.

I cycled back to the cust house and she opened the door to collect her drink and thanked me for the dlvry and reassured me that it was no issue regarding the spilled drink.

So thank you to the coffee bean staff and to the customer who showed patience and understanding.
