In recent weeks there has been more scammers contacting random people to offer jobs. Most of this are scams, when you asked them to identify themselves they often fail to.

A man received Telegram messages from an unknown person claiming to offer a job to like and share post online.

Company registration number ‘999’

When the man asked for the company registration number the scammer said ‘999’.

Here is what he said:

Well not sure whats up with this.

But suddenly asking me whether I am free and claiming she was from a recruiter company like okay. Then I proceed to ask for the company registration number and she gave me 999, i was like wow okay.

Well, I guess now all these people also know who not to send or to send based on our intelligence I guess. I guess I will give her a 7/10 for her scamming tricks. Still, beware of such stuff people they are simply scamming. confirm have a syndicate, I hope our SPF can end this.

A netizen shared a story about how his friend, who works as an insurance agent, taught him how to scam his insurance company and get free money.

Here is the story:

“Please keep my name anonymous.

I have a friend whom I’ve known for a long time, we’ve known each other for more than 10 years and we joined a local insurance agency together.

He discovered a loophole in the system, where people could actually claim payouts for free.

He said that the method is very simple, all you have to do is buy a travel insurance plan, then go for a holiday somewhere cheap where the police is probably a little bit corrupted, like say Thailand.

Also because of the language barrier, it helps to ease the process.

All you have to do is make a police report and lie that your belongings and valuables were robbed, and tell the police that you have a bunch of expensive things gone.

Try to list down some of the most expensive things, like the latest iPhone, the latest laptop, the latest DSLR camera; anything that is very expensive.

And because the police are somewhat corrupted, plus the language barrier, they are unlikely to actually do anything about it and even if they do, it’s hard to find anything.

So they will then give you a police report.

You can then use that police report and submit to your insurance agent, who wouldn’t know any better.

He said that 9 times out of 10, the insurance claim would be approved.”

I’m not really sure if this is actually true or if it works, but I’d like to remind all our readers that insurance fraud is a serious offence.

Persons found guilty of cheating offences face a jail term of up to 3 years and/or a fine.

My bf is a complete idiot. I am just here to rant. I would like to know if any other ladies have this same problem. I had always wanted to visit the USA, to have a proper holiday there.

But my loser bf can only bring me to Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia (Batam). He earns around $5k a month but he is so stingy with me. He keeps saying he has to pay his student loans off first and does not have any money left.

As a Singaporean, I do feel that other men from other countries are a better catch. If you look at China, for example, China men can own luxury cars, bring their women out for luxury holidays, and plus my favourite, buy me my favourite bags. I don’t hear bank loans.

My bf works around 10 to 12 hours a day and yet can’t even give me a good life. The only thing I hear about is clearing loans loans loans. We eat in hawker centres every time only in restaurants once in a while.

Ladies, now I have a China guy looking to hook up with me, would you dump the local bf and go for the more capable guy? My bf can take at least 2 years just to get me a coach bag.

Come on, it is only a coach bag and not even a Hermes bag. And he takes 2 years to save for that. How pathetic. What do you think ladies, should I dump him? Maybe the bag he also take bank loan to get.

Recently met up with a Vietnam Lady who became a Singaporean at some Massage Parlour and after our session ended, we both exchanged numbers and things between us took off to a great hit.

We were constantly messaging one another and sharing about our lives. She told me about her past, why she is doing this job, her family stories and all. She even said that she was interested in me and liked me but we should take things slowly as she still had some issues to settle.

We agreed upon that and everything between us was going well till we decided to meet up one evening after she ended work. During the meeting, she was clingy and just as per her usual self. We spent about near three hours together before I sent her back home.

But since then, she has started avoiding me and doesn’t message me even when i do so. She claims to be busy but is always online. It is hardly even two proper messages that I receive from her per day. This is very heartbreaking after all that she has said earlier and suddenly her actions are such now. I even asked her if I did anything wrong during the meetup but she said nothing.

Any idea what i can do or how I can get her back as before cause she is always on my mind and the feeling is truly horrible.
