Xu Shoupei, a 29-year-old Chinese national, was being accused of trying to bribe a policeman, Special Constable Ong Shu Hong, with $76 on 4 July, but failed.

Xu faced 2 graft charges on 16 September for his bribery attempt.

According to the CPIB, the policeman rejected the bribe and the incident was thusly referred to CPIB.

Xu allegedly offered a bribe to the policeman because he didn’t want him to conduct a check on his identity.

Separately, he is also being accused of trying to attempt to bribe the policeman with $76 to release him from custody.

His case has been adjourned to 13 October.

24-year-old Janani Kalachelvam pleaded guilty in court today for going out while she was on MC.

She was issued a 5 days MC by a doctor in Yishun Ring Road and she was suffering from shortness of breath and other respiratory syndromes. She was told by the doctor to stay at home but after visiting the doctor she went to her friends house.

She was also instructed by the doctor to come back the next day for a swab test which she never appear.

At her friend’s house, she kept quiet about her syndromes and did not wear a mask. A day later, she went to an Apple store at Orchard Road to shop.

She will be back in court on October 5 for her sentencing, she can be jailed up to 6 months and/or fined up to SGD$10,000.

The Guy Fawkes mask, more famously associated with international hacker group Anonymous, is commonly associated with anti-establishment protests around the globe.

The man was seen in the photo wearing the Guy Fawkes mask because he was apparently told to wear a “mask” when in public.

A video emerged online showing a group of YP gathering at a staircase presumably for the sole purpose of flashing gang signs.

They were seen happily flashing gang signs without their masks on, which we assume was because they wanted to show off their crooked fingers while proving their gang loyalty.

It is unclear who these YPs are or where the picture was taken.

A Grabfood customer made a special request to his rider to help him take curry sauce for his order, saying that the staff “won’t give curry sauce one bro that’s why”.

The rider then assured him and gave him his word that he would make sure they give curry sauce for his order.

The customer then revealed that he was also a rider, and that the vendor is a “sohai place”.

The rider then told the customer, that his house got curry sauce, and took a picture of it to send to him.
