TERRY XU RAISED ALMOST 90% OF $210,000 IN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS

Terry Xu posted on Facebook last night(13 Sept) stating that as of 2359HRS he has received 87.68% of the $210,000 that the Prime Minister was awarded.

The donation amounts range from S$0.01 to S$5,000. In total, 1839 individuals have come together to raise this amount.

The power of crowdfunding can indeed be powerful. At the rate the donation is pouring in, Terry Xu will most likely gather the full sum before the due date for the payment of the damages.

LONGKANG AT FOOT OF HDB SEEN INFESTED WITH DEAD COCKROACHES

A photo emerged online showing a cockroach infestation at the foot of a HDB block.

The cockroaches were observed to be dead (most of them anyway) inside the longkang, presumably from nearby fumigation of the rubbish chutes.

It is unclear where the photo was taken.

LORRY TIRED FROM DRIVING, SO TAKE A QUICK REST ON ROAD DIVIDER

A photo emerged online showing a lorry resting on top of a road divider.

It is unclear how the lorry managed to end up there or where the incident happened.

A netizen commented that the lorry had enough of being controlled by humans and decided to go on a strike, sleeping on the road divider instead.

KAKAK KENA CAT-CALLED BY MAN AT PARK: “WHO THE F**K DOES HE THINK HE IS”

A video emerged online showing a woman being cat-called by a man at a park.

She was seen in the video all covered up as she got cat called at the park, she then said:

“BITCH WHO THE F**K DOES HE THINK HE IS, I JUST GOT CAT CALLED…”

She then pointed the camera to her outfit, which shows her being all covered up, as she added:

“I’m wearing this! Seriously disgusting…”

And she captioned her video: “I’m literally shaking.”

172 CHILDREN IN SINGAPORE INFECTED WITH DELTA VARIANT SO FAR

According to today’s Parliament Sitting, Senior Minister of State for Health Janil Puthucheary said that there are 367 children infected with COVID-19 so far, of which 172 of them are infected with the Delta Variant.

This information came about after PAP members Dr Tan Wu Meng and Mr Yip Hon Weng raised these questions in Parliament.

It is revealed that among the 367 cases

  • 50 cases are between 0 and 1 years old
  • 83 cases are between 2 and 4 years old
  • 76 cases are between 5 and 6 years old
  • 158 cases are between 7 and 12 years old

The amount of infected children accounts for around 0.6% of total cases in Singapore.

MAN GUILTY FOR MURDER AFTER STABBING EX-WIFE AT ITE CENTRAL

Back in 2018, a video went viral after Police were seen on the car park in ITE College Central which is located in Ang Mo Kio.

69-year-old Seet Cher Hng had a dispute with his ex-wife after he demanded money from her, as he feels that their assets were not fairly divided during the divorce.

He prepare a few knives for the murder, one of the knives was engraved with two dates “010609” and “020609”. Which represents the dates the victim had cheated on him.

He ambushed her at the carpark located in the college and stabbed her to death, the victim was stabbed eight times. After the woman fell to the ground, the man took the knife and stabbed himself 13 times before falling on top of the woman’s body.

He will either face a life sentence in jail or a death sentence. He will return to court next Wednesday (September 22) for his sentencing.

GUY SAY HIS LAPTOP BRAND IS “JADE”, BUT ACTUALLY IS “ACER” UPSIDE DOWN

A netizen shared a screenshot of a conversation between two friends who are talking computers.

One of them had a laptop that wasn’t working and asked his more computer savvy friend for help.

His friend then asked him what brand was his computer, and he said “Jade”, which confused his friend as he had never seen it before.

Turns out it was Acer upside down.

JOGGER LEGS SUDDENLY JELLY, PENGSAN IN FRONT OF ONCOMING CAR ON ROAD

A video emerged online showing a jogger brisk walking towards a traffic light under slightly rainy conditions.

He then lost his balance for some reason and fell onto the road, just as the cam car was about to drive off.

Thankfully the driver stopped in time or else the jogger would’ve been run over.

The incident happened on 14 September at around 5.13am, at Bishan Street 21.

MAN CALLS FOR JAIL SENTENCE AFTER RUBBISH PILED UP BY RESIDENTS @ AMK

A resident staying along Ang Mo Kio St 61 found piles of garbage left at the void deck of Block 646.

He said: “See the amount of rubbish dumped besides dry rising main inlet. A fire hazard, blocking the entrance to the dry rising. This is at Blk 646 AMK St 61”

This raises concerns for many residents as it could be very dangerous if a cig butt was to land near it. Many netizens urge residents to be responsible and throw their garbage properly.

A bucket of paint was also spotted in the picture and it is extremely flammable.

Man called for jail sentence

One of the netizens said that harsher sentences should be implemented as it endangers the lives of others.

Many netizens are unhappy, some blame the residents while some blame the cleaners and town council.
