LOAN SHARK ARRESTED ON THE SAME DAY. HARASSMENT AT TOA PAYOH

A 29-year-old man was involved in an harassment case. He was arrested on the same day of the incident and will be charged in court tomorrow.

The Police issued a statement last night on the 9th of Oct 19 that at 8am, the police received a report and the door of three residential units in Toa Payoh Central Road was paint splashed.

After investigation and using Police CCTV, the Police confirmed the identity of the man and arrested him on the same day. The Police believes that he has also participated in other similar cases that have occurred throughout the island.

The man will be charged of tomorrow. If guilty, he can be fined a minimum of $5,000 to $50,000, imprisoned for up to five years, and compulsory caning for up to six times.

MEN ARRESTED IN JURONG WEST. PISTOL FOUND IN SUSPECT UNIT

The police arrested two men under the suspicion of them being drug offenders. One of the men who is 24-years-old was arrested at Jurong West Street 72 yesterday.

The police did not find any drugs on the 24-year-old suspect but they managed to find a pistol in his unit.

The second man who is 25 years old was arrested at Woodlands Street 13 he was aware of the pistol in the 24-year-olds possession but they did not report it.

Currently, the urine test is pending. The police did not comment on the origin of the pistol.

Both suspects will be charged tomorrow.

47 Y.O MAN CHARGED AFTER ‘SHAKING HIS THING’ @ WOODLANDS MRT TOILET

47-year-old Stanley Phang Kok Fui was charge in court and fined on Tuesday after performing an unsightly action at a public toilet located at Woodlands MRT station.

On the 21 of August in 2018, Stanley was in the toilet beside a 14-year-old boy. He repeatedly nudges the 14-year-old with his elbow while staring at the 14-year-olds “…..”.

Stanley was simultaneously performing an obscene activity on himself. After the boy was done with his business in the toilet, Stanley “signaled” the boy to head towards a cubicle.

The boy alerted MRT staff, who found Stanley in the toilet. He apologized and later ran away.

Woodland MRT station manager reported the incident to the police.

Stanley pleaded guilty for performing an obscene act in public and was fined $4,000.

POLICE LOOKING FOR MAN RELATED TO UNLICENSED MONEY LENDING @ YISHUN

The Police are seeking for the man in the above photo to assist with investigations. According to media reports, The police are investigating an Intentional Harassment case related to Unlicensed Moneylending.

The reported activity occurred at Yishun Street 72 on the 7th of August.

18 Y.O & 39 Y.O ARRESTED FOR BURGLARY @ SERANGOON CENTRAL DRIVE

Two men, aged 18 and 39, were arrested for allegedly breaking into a residential unit during broad daylight.

The police received a report on the 6th of October 2019, a residential unit in Serangoon Central Drive was robbed. Two branded bags and some electronic products were missing.

After investigating and viewing the CCTV of the scene, the Police were able to confirm the identity of the two men and arrested them on the 7th of October 2019.

The two men will be charged with burglary during the day and will be sentenced to a maximum of 10 years imprisonment.

HIGH-SPEED PMD CRASHES INTO CHILD!!! LETS BAN PMD!

Just a day after the news breaks about the potential chance of PMD getting ban. A video appeared on the internet today of a child getting hit by a High speed PMD.

The kid was heard crying in pain. I guess we should really take a serious view of PMD. Act now before more victims get hurt!

21 Y.O MAN ARRESTED – SLASHING INCIDENT AT 1 TRAS LINK

A 21-year-old man was arrested by the police for allegedly using a dangerous weapon to deliberately causing serious injury.

The Police issued a statement saying that they received a report on the 3/10/19 at 4:15 pm on the 3rd of this month, the police received a report that the face of a 31-year-old male victim was slashed at 1 Tras Link. The attacker fled the scene. The victim was escorted to the Central Hospital.

After investigating and viewing the CCTV footage, the Central Police Station confirmed the identity of the man that caused the knife wound and arrested him today at Orchard Road.

The man will be charged with the use of voluntarily causing grievous hurt by dangerous weapon tomorrow. Once convicted, he can be sentenced to imprisonment for up to 15 years and whipping.

BUS & MRT FARES TO GOING UP 9 CENTS FROM DEC 28

It has been reported that the fare for both MRT and Bus will be increase by 7 cents. This is equivalent to 9 cents for adult travelers who used travel cards.

Paying cash on bus will result in even higher fares of 20 cents per trip! Concession groups for students, senior and so on will also face an increase in the fare.

The cause of the raise was due to the growing rise of energy price and manpower salary.
