According to local reports, 3 people fell victim to dengue fever.

• 41-year-old man
• 63-year-old woman
• 68-year-old woman

All 3 victims resided in the high-risk dengue zone in Jurong West. Bringing a total of 4 death this year.

According to NEA, the man was admitted to the hospital on the 29th of April and the other 63-year-old woman died just two days after admitted to the hospital.

The 68-year-old victim died on April 13 overseas after contracting dengue fever in the Jurong West dengue cluster.

Dengue Fever Symptoms

Symptoms, which usually begin four to six days after infection and last for up to 10 days, may include

• Sudden, high fever
• Severe headaches
• Pain behind the eyes
• Severe joint and muscle pain
• Fatigue
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Skin rash, which appears two to five days after the onset of fever
• Mild bleeding (such a nose bleed, bleeding gums, or easy bruising)

A peeping tom was got caught after attempting to film two sisters by placing his handphone through the window gap from the corridor.

The incident happened early in the morning at around 6.30am at Toa Payoh Lorong 7.

While changing clothes, one of the sisters notices a handphone at the room’s window, with the camera facing the bedroom and was set up to record video.

“My sister saw the handphone and got a shock. She hadn’t finished changing so she turned off the lights and told me about the phone.”

The sisters pretended that nothing happening as act as usual while trying to find out the where the pervert was.

“When we switched on the lights, the person outside stuck the handphone through the gap again.”

By then the pervert had realized that what he was doing has been exposed and ran! The sisters had no idea how long this has been going on.

The police are currently investigating in this incident.

Is Singapore Airlines really a great way to fly? Today, I faced the possibility of not being able to go on my trip to Japan and was trying to find ways to solve my problem while minimising anymore unwarranted costs. Note that I’ve recently paid an additional $500 to change the flight date – which I willingly paid. So yes, my flight class does not entitle me to a refund, but I’d like to believe that as a paying customer I’ll be entitled to some decent customer service.

So today, while on the phone with a SIA customer service officer, I explained that I might have to change my flight dates (again) due to my travel facility restrictions which has caused a lot of last minute unnecessary stress despite doing everything in advance. I know fair well that it’s not SIA’s problem – but I was told that I’d have to not only give them a date on the spot to change my flights and pay for it, I’d also have to pay for another date change if I’m unable to fly on that random date that I’d have to pluck out from thin air. This is taking into account that the air ticket is valid until 21 May 2019 and no e-ticket was issued until I have more of an answer on when I’ll actually be valid for travel.

Throughout my phone call with this CSO, I could detect an edge in her voice when I asked her to explain the above need for paying again and again for something that’s pretty much an open ticket.

I’m extremely disappointed with this level of service from SIA, which I have always supported, being a Singaporean. This will now change. I used to be a Krisflyer Gold member and have since relegated to a normal tier membership and I’d assume that the service I’m getting now is pretty much because I’m no longer a “preferred customer”. That to me just sounds like a brand that’s not at all committed to customer experience and are only “selective” of who gets good service.

Sounds hypocritical to me. Think this is something that needs to be changed Singapore Airlines.

Why all the unhappy trip happens to me.

According to reports, A 26-year-old man was arrested after jumping on a PHV vehicle at 3 Sentosa Gateway(Powerhouse).

The 26-year-old will be charged tomorrow!

The incident happened at 3am yesterday, the man walked towards the vehicle and walk on it.

I have been married to my husband for 5 years. Sometimes I am worried if my husband goes out and fools around. So far he has not done anything wrongful to me yet.

But my husband likes to joke around, Whenever I asked where is he, he would always reply “I’m at Geylang”.

He jokes around too much and it has made me think “maybe his really there”.  He is always back home on time and rarely comes home late. But deep down, as a woman, we tend to think too much.

Sometime’s I really wonder what should I do. I even attempted to tail him a few and it turned out that he was really working late and I felt stupid for doing so.

I want to know and ask the local married woman do they ever have such suspicions?
